A very simple issue…read moreturned into a catastrophe, as he ripped off a metal ring from the dryer drum and could not get the pieces back in/on. I had a fully operable dryer before he came out.... he then told me it would be $600 to fix and I told him no way. I paid the $99 service fee, which later was refunded after 2 days of back and forth. They actually defended what he did. Here are the photos. Don't trust this service. Now I have to buy a new $1000 set because he couldnt remove a simple button. Massively disappointed I chose this business.

This is a second review ... or maybe a third…read more. We have used Frost for a few problem appliances throughout the years. When the dishwasher had a whole lot of water in the bottom that wouldn't drain.. well.. great.. just what I need. I live on a second floor apt and I'm very sensitive -overly sensitive to any water that may leak and cause damage to units below me so the anxiety just increases when dealing with water. We have called Frost before and thankfully when we called Wednesday they put us on their schedule for today, Friday. They had all our history, phone numbers, email, everything which made things pretty quick to schedule. They gave us a window of when to expect them and today I received a text with a feature to track how close my technician was to arriving. I also received a call when he was 10 minutes away. My tech's name was Aaron and thankfully he knew exactly what was the problem with my dishwasher. He fixed it, then took the time to show me how to keep it from happening again in the future. He was friendly, professional and provided exactly what we have come to expect every time we have called Frost; consistent, excellent service. The price was just for the service call, nothing extra which was great. I've learned you can never rely on just a friend or a neighbor to come by an "take a look" in order to do you a favor when it comes to the stuff in your home. I've learned not to waste my time, money or put my home or neighbors home in danger by not getting professionals the first time around. The peace of mind I have in knowing that I can call Frost and trust them when one of my appliances break down is priceless. I appreciate Aaron for his time today! Thanks!!

We specifically asked Dean if we needed to purchase the kit for him to install for the appointment. He told us no, that he already had the stuff. We set the appointment for between 0800-1000 the following Tuesday . We confirmed the appt with him at 0759. He said he'd be here around 0900. Didn't show up until 1015. Came inside and then my wife showed him our washtower. He took a call while she was talking to him. When he finished the call, he then asked her how much we paid for our washer/dryer. He then moved the unit over to the left to get a better view of the work area then told us we needed to purchase the kit (the one he said we didn't need), then basically told us our new unit was crap and we'd maybe get 2-3 years out of it at best. Gave us a (decent) quote for labor. Told us to call when we get the necessary kit, then left. I had to move the washtower unit back to its original position myself. Ended up calling another local company they came out within 2 hours (with the kit) and did the job in less than an hour. *in response to the unprofessional Google response from the business edited to add...we have the encounter on security video, and I'm MORE THAN happy to upload it for everyone to see for themselves. I've been accused of many things in my lifetime, but I've never been accused of actually being rude. Honest, yes. Too nice, yes. Rude no. Rude is showing up an hour and 15 minutes after you confirmed a specific time. Rude is taking a phone call while your current customer is in the middle of talking to you. Rude is asking someone how much they paid for something. Rude is repeatedly dropping your tools down onto the floors. Rude is cutting my wife off repeatedly while she was trying to speak to you and then Dean turn to address things with me instead. She's not invisible...but she is the legal homeowner, not me.

What makes it worse is that the technician tried to deny there was ever a gas leak, which is completely unacceptable.
