Unprofessional LIARS! Proline was sent out through American Homeshield to fix a rattling bearing and a door hinge on my dryer. After about an hour of banging in my laundry room the tech said he was done, but would need to return to fix the door after the part came in. He left a huge pile of lint and a mess all over the floor. Didnt even ask for a trash can or offer to clean up. He also didn't even put the dryer back in place and scratched and dented to top of my dryer while taking it apart. Dryer has ALWAYS had a protective cover on it. I instantly noticed the damage and took pictures. A week later they called to schedule fixing the door. I asked for a different tech and described my issues. After a long wait on hold, I was asked to send pictures. I did, never heard anything back. 2 weeks later they showed up to fix the door and the tech was instantly defensive about the damage. Turns out he's the owner. He said we were recorded telling the tech to leave the mess. NOT TRUE, and apparently they record in your home without your knowledge. He also told my husband my phone conversation was recorded and I said the dent was already there. Also, NOT TRUE. I wouldn't have complained if that was the case, and what about all the scratches?!?! You can see in other complaints that this company does not take accountability for its mistakes. I would love to hear the recorded conversations that he lied about. His response to this will most likely be full of blame and lies as well. WORST APPLIANCE COMPANY I HAVE EVER USED!!!! read more

Absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced. Proline Appliance not only failed to fix my cooktop but actually created a dangerous fire hazard in my home. I ended up with a minor injury to my hand and had to call Southwest Gas emergency services and they disconnected my appliance because it was no longer safe to use. What makes it worse is that the technician tried to deny there was ever a gas leak, which is completely unacceptable. This nightmare has been going on for months with endless delays, wrong parts, and careless service. Instead of fixing the problem, they left me with a non-working cooktop, a dangerous situation, wasted time, stress, and the inability to cook for my family for days. I called this company to replace a simple fuse on the microwave. They got to my home the next day to get the account; however, 8 business days later, my microwave is not repaired, and I have not heard from the company. I called to learn that they had the part for two days, but could not come to complete the repair on the microwave for another 10 days! This is unacceptable. read more

They did a good job getting my refrigerator rebooted. But it took them a few days to respond since they have no weekend or after hours service--and of course--the problem showed up late on a Friday. Their phone doesn't even get answered on weekends. Luckily the frig did not completely go out otherwise I would have lost a lot of food. The freezer temperature still goes below zero from time to time, and I have to manually reset to get it back to 0. This was a home warranty service call so I had to go with a company the insurance company chose. If I experience more problems with this appliance I will probably call another service who can respond right away and get a different perspective on what's going on with the refrigerator. read more

Awful, frustrating experience with this company. They were assigned to repair my fridge/freezer, which was not cooling enough, by my home warranty company. Took five days to get an appointment, which is a long time to have a poorly functioning fridge. The tech replaced a part and the fridge worked for less than one day and died - went from not working well to not working at all after the "repair." Then they refused to send another tech unless I resubmitted the claim through the warranty company. Absolutely will not recommend them to anyone. read more

I would give these guys zero stars. ZERO. So I submitted a claim through American home shield, the refrigerator was broken, the freezer was fine. The guy came the next day and he fixed it supposedly... 24 hours later it was still broken. Then it got worse, the freezer stopped working ; I threw away hundreds of dollars worth of product. I had called them on that same day to notify, but they couldn't come out for six days, not only that on the sixth day they canceled and pushed me one day farther out. The guy came finally and he said yes the part was defective. He tested the second part and it worked, well I'm not sure why you didn't test the first part and try. Again, I'm still out hundreds of dollars worth of meat etc. Then I noticed the next day when he leaves that two of my freezer shelves are gone. I can't find them anywhere, well obviously he took them out when he repaired the freezer, and he had to take them with them because where else would they be ? Replace two freezer shelves is going to cost me about $200, and now the company won't return my call. HORRIBLE. ZERO STARS. read more

On Nov 13, I recieved a service call with Proline. The technician was professional. Before entering he put shoe covers on. He quickly identified the issue AND had the part on his service vehicle. Start to finish, the stove's oven ignitor was replaced, tested and all put back in place. No mess to clean up afterwards. The initial service call was placed late the previous week and as openings became available that would of moved me appointment earlier, they were offered via text, my preffered method of communication. My dishwasher developed a leak. I expected a replacement water sealing rubber with a trip to the hardware store or worse, needing to order the parts, but instead the technician spent about 15 minutes diagnosing and addressing the problem which is a partially clogged drain, and accumulated material on the weatherstripping. He took care of both, ran the dishwasher to make sure that it no longer leaked, and explain to me how I could prevent this from happening in the future. He was careful, methodical, and took care of the job at minimal effort and expense to the owner. I would use them again. read more

Horrible! Our washer has been broken for over a month. There is SMELLY, stagnant water sitting under the tub. They no-showed on us TWO times. After three weeks, they came and "FIXED" it. Nope! Tried doing a load right after he left and still DID NOT WORK. The scheduler is rude and will not listen to our concerns. She would not allow me to speak to the supervisor when I requested to escalate the call, due to the many problems we are having. My husband has already taken off work two days, only to no show!!! Ronald repaired a 23+ year old, wall-built-in GE microwave open. The circuit board was no longer available. To buy a new microwave, I would have had to do some cabinetry work, since sizes have changed in 23 years. Ronald pulled the circuitboard, desoldered the worn-out capacitors, and soldered in new ones. My Asko washer stopped totally dead after starting a load of laundry. It had worked flawlessly for the past 16 years. I thought for sure it was curtains or it would take weeks to get a needed part. I reported the issue and was assigned a time the next day which was in itself incredible. The Proline Tech arrived on time and started working on it immediately. He was very familiar with Asko appliances which was great. He spent about 20 minutes or so analyzing the issue and then replaced the wire harness that had failed. He showed me the problem part and then put everything back together and tested with a short wash. I could not be happier!!! Such great service and great experience that I was previously dreading. Home warranty company assigned Proline as my service provider and I had a very poor experience with them addressing issues with my dishwasher and stovetop. The technician they sent seemed friendly and knowledgeable. He said he fixed the dishwasher and needed to order parts for the stove. Dishwasher brokedown the next day and then I tried calling Proline for the next two weeks. I left messages and I had the home warranty call and email them repeatedly but no response. Proline didn't answer their phones or return any messages. They also didn't submit their report so the home warranty company refused to do anything until that was submitted. Nearly three weeks later, Proline submitted their report and started calling me. I then spoke to a supervisor at the home warranty company who dispatched a new appliance company to provide service. The new company also has to order parts and now I've been without a dishwasher for a month because Proline did not do the job they were paid to do. If your home warranty company tries to assign Proline, you're better off asking for a different provider so you can avoid the hassle and headache. read more

The first made our problem worse by breaking the main control board. Proline was asked to evaluate the problem and assess the possibility of repairing the Microwave. By far the worst appliance repair business that I've ever experienced. My (4) year old GE (front load) washing machine stopped working. I thought one or two service calls at most would have had it up and running. It took the proline appliance technician (Alfredo) five service appointments, in which two they cancelled on the day of and had to reschedule. After six miserable weeks dealing with this company the technician (Ronald) finally decided that our washing machine was not repairable. The office staff Ellie was very rude and unprofessional during every call, she wanted to argue every time we had questions and/or requested any status updates. During this entire process we were lied to time after time regarding parts, status and appointment availability. The first time Alfredo arrived he attempted to install parts which appeared to be used (unboxed) that didn't fit our washing machine. I believe this company is deceitful and they knew that our washing machine wasn't repairable in the beginning. Therefore, they took advantage of our insurance company (AHS) and while collecting numerous gently used parts from our washing machine and also profiting from our insurance company with multiple service calls. We as the insured cannot move forward until the technician informs the insurance company of the service status, so business integrity is very important when choosing an appliance repair company. This entire process was outrageous and unacceptable. Proline appliance lacked professionalism, knowledge and showed no concern towards customer service. Ace came out and he was amazing and listened to the instructions that I gave him. I got the carpet cleaned and asked that no shoes be worn in the house. I also asked that the water be turned off and a photo sent to me. He sent me a photo of the water turned off and he sent me a photo of him wearing sock covers which I really like. Rude Tech, Ordered wrong parts (3 weeks), ordered new parts (3 more weeks) then blamed it on a bad GFCI outlet, GFCI was inspected by a licensed electrician and found nothing wrong with it.
