Being away from our house and spending the money we do at this gas stations, the least we should get is a good clean service away from home. Every time I see a Love's like this I turn in a bad comment, because we are not supposed to get this type of service at any location. Sorry to be this negative but it's not fair! It's not right! A business like this that is nation wide should be paying attention at little things like this! And I say little because that's how it shows to the business! But to the customer it's a big issue! How can we pay $18.00 per shower and get this nasty, dirty, discussing place to clean our selves! Do we really clean our selves or get this nasty stuff all over our selves as we touch the faucets, doors, etc...

They sell their gas at the same price as the Valero across the street, the Snapping Turtle. I picked this one. The bathrooms here were disgusting. They looked like they hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. Ew. The McDonald's seemed to be lightly attended, even at lunch rush. That's not a good sign. They sell coffee here, in cans it's more expensive than Starbuck's freshly poured. The drip coffee was some weak sauce. They offer liquid non dairy creamer, but half the flavors were out. The coffee area was also just as gross as the other places. They sell beer here. There's a walk-in cooler that'd be nice to make a careful selection in during the summer months. They sell the local newspapers. Meh- the gas wasn't that cheap. I'm not stopping here again unless I have to, and then, I'll be going to the Snapping Turtle across the street.

Went to visit grandma and grandpa in Weimer today and decided to grab pizza for dinner because it's…read morefast and easy. We all rejected grandpa's idea of getting pizza from a convenient store. Boy did we all feel silly when the pizza from this place turned out to be one of the best that we've ever had. It was $9.99 for any topping (a total of 9) large pizza. If you order regular crust in comes as a regular pizza pie. If you order thin crust then it comes in squares. We ended up getting three regular crust pizza. One with all 9 toppings, one with sausage, pepperoni and mushroom, and one with half pepperoni and half cheese. We all loved the pizza and ate everything. The pizza was made by a national pizza chain, Hunt Brothers Pizza. It even came with two half letter sodas. We all had a wonderful time with grandma and grandpa and the awesome convenient store pizza made it even more memorable.

I was like, "Um, ok, what's that about?" I got home and looked it up. I found out it was Texan company. Then I decided I wanted to visit the biggest Buc-ee's in the Lone Star State. We landed in San Antonio and rented a car. Thankfully it didn't have a California license plate. We drove to Luling on our way to Austin. We pulled into the Buc-ee's parking lot. We saw the gas prices. Gas in Texas is more affordable than Washington State. Took a photo with the metal critter in front of the entrance then made our way into the store. Spacious, busy. Bathroom was clean. We picked up some brisket sandwiches and some sodas. Food is more affordable in Texas. We also bought some souvenirs to take back home including a red shirt with the beaver.

Restrooms had two hand soap dispensers completely broken, paper towel in the corner on the floors, soda station a mess and not wiped, slushie station a mess, coffee sauces out, empty bottles sitting there, coffee machines dusty with beans all over. Come on Buc-ee's. Is the normal standard not there anymore. No more wow factor anymore? Or getting too big that procedure is being lost in the process? Didn't look like people were working and the ones who were seemed very unhappy and not guest focused. Coming from someone in management for the past 15 years. Maybe it's just this Buc-ee's that needs work?

I first discovered this place; I was on my way to Austin last year. My tire pressure warning light came on after driving on the bumpy freeway near Highway 10. I had to stop at a gas station. But when I approached this intersection, I couldn't get in to the tiny space at Hruska's tire refill station. Then, I went to Ellinger Shell across street. The store clerks were very friendly and the store was clean. I got what I needed. There are plenty of space to park to get gas and tire pumped. I just have to remember that it is not a 24/7 store and there is minimum charge on credit card use.

This particular location is conveniently located right halfway between San Antonio and Houston. They have a Taco Bell location attached to their main building, but also offer other already prepared meal options. The bathrooms are located on the right side of the building. The women's bathrooms does not have as many stalls as compared to other Pilot Travel Center locations so keep that in mind if you are stopping here during a busy time. When you visit make sure to sign up for their rewards points so you can save on gas and other items. They also offer a 10% military discount on items you purchase inside their store.

They have very clean bathrooms and a nice area with tables inside if you want to stay and eat. They have a decent selection of drinks and snacks, and lots of clothing and boots for sale. But this time, we decided instead of a quick sandwich we would go ahead and order barbecue plates. Their prices are fairly inexpensive for barbecue and I think that's because they are not out back cooking on the pit all day. But the brisket and chicken were fair, made much better by their sauce. I liked the potato salad and I loved the green beans. I think the brisket sandwich is better than the brisket plate, so that's what I will go back to.
