There is street parking or a lot parking available. I do recall one year due to the Marlin tournament. Parking was difficult and we did park a few blocks away. Overall the walk was not bad and it was well worth it. I recommend bringing chairs or a blanket. If you plan to stay a while. On Sundays, they have a live band, ice cream for purchase, a playground, pond, and lots of open grass for family and friends to enjoy. Everyone's favorite part is the Sunday fireworks show. The show is great! We will continue to add this park to our Sunday fun day while in Ocean City.

It has nice walking paths, lots of benches and picnic tables and a great play area for kids. It has lots of beautiful plants and trees and provides a very relaxing area for a walk or just to sit by the river and enjoy the view. I was here on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and there were hardly any people here. There is not a ton of parking so if it were to get busy I am not sure if that would be a problem but worth a try. I would recommend a stop if you need a nice relaxing moment in your day.

Visited Kiwanis Park this week after beach time at Higbee. My son needed play time to run out some energy because he is still getting used to the beach and it's not his favorite right now, much to my dismay. Kiwanis made my toddler's day! He had a ball on the playstructure, swings, and just running around on the lawn. He loved watching the fountain in the pond, which I was happy to see still running in November. The posted rules say dogs aren't allowed, but various locals were walking their dogs all through this park. The park isn't huge, definitely no walking trail or means of real exercise, except for the basketball court, which is a half-court size. For leisure, picnicking, playground, etc. it is a great space, cuted up with the pond view. Private parking lot is down Leroy's way, the small lane at the entrance.

Positives - - The overall size of the place is impressive. Not as large as some of the behemoth ones that used to exist around my area before everything was converted to these very expensive metal/plastic contraptions, but still huge. - the parking is plentiful, - the crowd was small all 3 times we went - dog park across the driveway if that's useful to you. - gazebo in the center so parents can watch all areas from a shaded spot Negatives - - The only downsides would probably be that there's not really enough shade and some of the slides got VERY hot. - The parking lot next to it gets muddy on one end if it rains too much - The parking along the driveway has a nice 6-inch or so drop off to it if you pick the wrong spot. Doesn't matter much with a modest SUV, but might with a sedan.

We make an effort to go to Bayside Park every year. They have two major sets of play equipment one…read morefor the smaller kids and another for the bigger kids. There is also a set of swings that is separate from the other two. There is a combo of natural mulch on the one part and rubberized mulch that is paved on the other half. Both playsets have multi-tiered areas to play on and under. Monkey bars, climbing walls, several slides and secret fossils and a few service windows to play "ice cream shop or food delivery" is also a nice touch. The park is open from dawn til dusk usually the park is empty but every once and a while friends will stop by and play. If you do come in the early morning remember to bring a little towel or rag to dry off the slides as the morning dew almost always leaves a puddle at the bottom of the side and no one likes a wet bottom.
