I appreciated his candor about waiting versus braces immediately and then likely having to do another round of orthodontics a few years later. He also provided a very balanced assessment of what type of braces to get, which I appreciated. The lady at the office checked and said YES but that I needed to front $500 and I would be refunded. i went in and saw the Dr. he also confirmed my insurance would cover it, and I should just get the top and bottom. I did it, got the retainers that 2 assistants could NOT put in my mouth and even thought they were the wrong ones, And the Dr jammed them in and said they are great, my teeth were the problem. Anyway they called 2 days later to say the insurance denied the claim. I told them they had lied to me and swindled me out of my money. The office lady said that there is NOTHING that could be done and I can call Delta insurance and get more details. Well I didn't take that, I spoke to the Doctor who ASSURED me that they would file the claim again and he was sorry I was lied to..... well it's been 10 days and crickets. No refund, no claim has even been filed, my money was just kept .... Super shady office lesson of the day: don't front any money!

I previously had some pretty traumatic experiences from a prior dental experience at another dentistry, and I knew a lot of my anxiety was coming from that specific experience along with a few sensory sensitivities I had. Thankfully, my journey here has been amazing, and such a healing journey emotionally and physically! Initially I was going to need a root canal but after seeing that there was a more conservative route we can take to preserve my tooth, a different plan was recommended for me. I also got 2 silver fillings replaced where they had cracked & needed adjustment.I love the subtle cosmetic enhancement it gives my smile while also protecting my teeth. From red light therapy to ozone injections, I was impressed with how much 1:1 attention, care, and intentionality went into my health plan. They don't see you as a one size fits all, they take their time to understand the problem and see what the options are. After the extraction, I didn't even need to take any pain medication. I had only a little bit of gum soreness and swelling that day, and it was completely gone by the next day. I even ran into some friends later that day, and none of them could tell that I had just had my wisdom teeth removed because my cheeks didn't swell at all.
