They don't accept cash and add a 3% charge for all electronic payments. You can save 3% by using Zelle but you have to find them by email, holding up the line behind you. There were 4 of us, we all ordered separately. The person that ordered second didn't get her coffee so we asked about it. Good customer service went right out the window. They accused someone else of taking it - her name was never called. They never made her order. They made someone else's order twice. We didn't go back. Coffee was good. Stumbled upon this beautiful little cafe on collins ave in Miami South Beach! It was super busy and I couldn't avoid it ! I entered I knew it was going to be hard to find a spot but I got lucky and ended up finding one! Service: very rude and stand offish.. wish they were more kind. Food: Chai latte was absolutely amazing I really loved it it was absolutely delicious and had it with almond milk very deelish It was so good I had to get another one The Salad was ok but it was drenched in dressing like wayyyy too much and the dressing was super acidic .. wish it wasn't empowering the salad ! On a hot day in Miami Beach you're going to need a iced coffee! This shop has a cute bistro ambiance with a variety of sweet treats, salads, all day breakfast and more. I went with an iced cappuccino and it came out quickly! I had a check in offer with Yelp and the nice lady at the front accepted it (she said no one has ever shown her it ). Great location in South Beach, but the drinks were 'so-so.' I ordered an iced matcha latte and my husband ordered an ice chai - both of which were out go to drinks, and both tasted like just milk. The drinks were good, not great. While I would recommend to check them out on your own and maybe try their coffees or some of their other caffeinated options, it wasn't at the top of my list for 'go to coffee shops in Miami.' read more

The food and coffee were the best I've had since being in Miami. The guava and cheese danish was so good and so was my salmon sandwich! I also really love their coffee and flavored syrups. The service is very kind and attentive, no qualms there. I got an americano coffee and it was...fine. I mean, it wasn't bad but I would say it was heavy on the water over espresso and it cost over $7 for a large ($5 + $2 for soy milk). I also got the salmon sandwich on baguette. The baguette was thin and doughy not at all with what I associate with good bread but the salmon itself was fine. Again, this place isn't bad, but it's not the bougie "artisan" level I expected. such a cute cafe, the food was so good. i got the egg salad breakfast on a croissant, while my dad got the breakfast sandwich on plain bagel. highly recommend both! the plain bagel was one of the most fresh and tasty bagels i've ever had. the egg salad breakfast was also very good, it was an easy and light sandwich perfect if you don't have that big of an appetite! also got the "summer breeze" smoothie, which was so good - i usually don't finish smoothies because they're too sweet or too filling, but this one was perfect! we also got two cannolis and macaroons. both were amazing as well. the macaroons were so flavorful! not too sweet, but not too plain. the service was also very fast and everyone was super nice! although it is on the pricier side, i would say it's worth it. highly recommend :) read more

Our first coffee shop was opened almost 5 years ago in South Beach. We believe that breakfast is most important meal of the day and nothing can be better than artisan cup of coffee after it! Presentation is the key to our business and the biggest recognition of it is smiling customers who take photos of our coffee and food! That what inspires our business to make every cup of coffee individually! Stop by and try it by yourself!

Meet the Manager: Bryan M.

The Owner, a retired music producer and international business man, that moved to Miami a few years ago felt the lack of a quality coffee house near his area. Not being a fan of chain coffee houses and being an avid coffee drinker, he decided to go to Italy to find a unique blend between Arabica and Robusta roasted coffee beans. He found the perfect medium roast blend that infused the aroma, sweetness, acidity, persistence and body into a great tasting and very aromatic house blend coffee. With such a perfect blend of roasts Shepherd Artisan Coffee was born. The name Shepherd refers to the Legend of Kaldi, a Shepherd in the 9th century who is said to have discovered the coffee seed in an area near Ethiopia. Shepherds mission is to bring great tasting quality coffee to all coffee enthusiasts, lovers or occasional drinkers, while providing the relaxing ambience to enjoy yourself, friends and most importantly a great cup of coffee. I finally tried the grilled lobster plate, and WOW, it did not disappoint. Honestly, you might need to walk around the block a few times afterward because everything is just THAT good, and you're going to finish every last bite. Puerto Sagua has been serving Miami Beach since 1968, and it is still standing strong, serving incredible Cuban food with so much character and history. Great service and love the open restaurant ambiance diner feel. If you're visiting Miami Beach, DO NOT skip this place. Come hungry and get a taste of this iconic Cuban American restaurant. And whatever you do, GET THE OXTAIL STEW!

Hard pass, there are much better options in south beach for a decent breakfast. The avacado toast with cream cheese and olives was a strange [and bad] combination, we specifically asked for no cream cheese, but they put it on anyways. The avocado was not at all fresh. The acai bowl tasted good, however, the serving was very small for the price. The baked goods are tasty, but it's pretty hard to screw up a muffin. That being said, my biggest complaint is the fact they call themselves an artisan coffee place, yet made me wait for my entire order to be completed before allowing me to retrieve my iced Americano while it sat on the back counter. For those reading this review who don't know, iced americano is a iced espresso drink, if you serve it promptly, it tastes like cold espresso, if you let it sit for 10 minutes it turns to watered down iced coffee [especially in south Florida heat]. I had to watch my coffee deteriorate into a watered down sludge, I was rejected when I asked if I could have it upon completion, they said I would have to wait for my buzzer to go off. I am being generous with two stars. read more

The avocado toast was very disappointing. The cashier mentioned that it had feta and cream cheese on it and I asked for it on the side. The manager fought with me saying the cream cheese can't come on the side. Ok. I thought made it was mixed together already. It took 15 minutes for it to be served. The bread was barely toasted and it had a thick layer of cream cream and a razor thin layer of avocado that was not fresh. I don't understand why it was such an issue. The cream cheese was put on before the avocado. All I could taste was the cream cheese. It also had olives and peppers on it. I also got the Tropical Storm smoothie and it was pretty disappointing. It tasted like a mall smoothie. It tasted artificially sweet. The coconut flakes were were the only nice part of the smoothie. Will not be coming here again. I went in this morning. I asked the boy what was in the croissants (fruit) he said " I don't know..do you want it or not?" I asked to wash my hands, bathroom was OUT OF ORDER. I then ordered a large cappuccino, yogurt with berries and a chocolate croissant. I went outside to eat. The coffee was cold, the croissant was like bread with chocolate stuffing and the yogurt was at least 2 days old. Granola was soggy, fruit was old etc. It wasn't so much to food as the service that was non caring and oblivious to the place. I wanted to pay with cash but they don't take cash...that tells me that the owner is not on site, doesn't trust employees and is oblivious too. sorry to report but you must be on site to run a business.... read more

We absolutely loved this café! They had an amazing breakfast and lunch menu with plenty of delicious options to choose from. We were staying just a few blocks away and found ourselves coming here almost every morning during our stay.
