This spot is sooo cute ! A friend posted it on her IG and I had to pull up. Their coffee menu has so many good options! I asked the cashier for some recommendations and loved what I ended up trying. I'm already thinking about coming back to try a matcha. I got the iced pistachio cream latte and oh my gosssh the cold foam!? made just right! so creamy, super flavorful, and you can really taste the pistachio. I love that the cold foam is made in house. The only thing is I'm not sure if that's their normal iced coffee size (I forgot to ask bc I got distracted after trying the cold foam/ so good) but for $7 I'd def want a bigger cup next time. The espresso itself was a solid 10/10 ! The vibe here is super cute, the owner was super sweet and I love the merch, the name of the shop and even the drink names. Street parking I went around 1ish and found a spot right away, but it could be a hit or miss. This spot is worth checking out for sure! read more

Hidden Gem in the heart of San Diegos Barrio Logan! Amazing coffee and such a Vibey place to do work and get inspired. Somehow I get more work done here than at the office. They have coffee for every type of taste bud. I usually go black and you definitely can taste the quality that they put into their craft. Huge plus that they roast their own beans. I go for their Honduras roast and it's 10/10!!!!!! and their tea's are freshly brewed and are part of favorite drinks as well. read more

I was at Shepherds for the second time today, and I enjoyed it the first visit, but the second time blew me away! My friend and I ordered a coconut strawberry cold foam matcha, a "milk & honey", and a straight espresso shot. Everything was very, very tasty. The espresso was super smooth and had some fun hints of chocolate and fruit behind it; the matcha was good, and the cold foam topping was exquisite; and the milk & honey special drink was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. The interior is pretty industrial-vibes, with exposed ceiling and concrete floors, but it's a nice space. They have a small barber shop subletting, you can sit outside in the side yard, and there is a living-room style set up with couches and armchairs right next to the bar. Good people here, too! Worth checking out, one of my favorite coffee shops in San Diego currently. read more

One of the best coffees I've ever had. Cute little shop tucked away next to a barber shop in a residential area. Thought I'd give this small business a try and boy am i glad I did! The owner is super sweet, and was able to make a macchiato with lechera flavor, also tried their vanilla latte with oat milk. The only sad part was that they didn't have Large yet (one size drinks). My husband inhaled his in like 5 minutes. Parking can be tricky, but if in the area, give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!! read more

The drinks here are some of my favorite. They recently added a new Matcha drink with guava foam, and it's one of the best matcha flavors I've had. My girlfriend loves it as well, she asks me to get it whenever I swing by the shop. The service is always immaculate. Seems like everytime I go here the weather is perfect, take that as a sign. They also offer could brew and specialty coffees and beverages. It's really lade back here. There inside a collective and share a spot with Otter Stop Barber Shop. They offer inside seating. A hidden gem, so glad I found it. I've been coming here consistently since I first tried it - they've got quality coffee and good service! My go tos are either: Milk & honey - a cozy drink idk how else to put it Or black sheep if I want something a little lighter/floral Both are perfectly sweetened, not too much or too little. And the espresso hasn't let me down in the maybe ten times I've come in- it's consistently good/pulled right. Their teas/lemonades sound delicious but not sure I can go without their espresso. One day! It also seems like a good place to work, there's some seating in the front and some more past the register on the left. read more

Shepherds is seriously my favorite coffee shop! They even roast their own beans in house which is so cool. The couches are comfy and good music is always playing. The staff is so friendly, and the owners are the best! My go to is the iced mockiatto, but you can't go wrong with anything you choose. Syrups are top notch and expertly crafted. The strawberry matcha is another favorite when I'm not feeling coffee. I look forward to waking up every day and coming to Sheps. When they're closed on Sundays and Mondays I'm lost because I don't know where to go for my coffee fix! Thankfully San Diego has so many incredible coffee shops, but Shepherds has my heart read more

This little spot is so cool, they just opened in August! They have a small seating area with a large sunny window if you feel like working remotely. They had a lovely jazz radio playing in the background. I got an iced Black Sheep latte and the honey lavender was just the right amount of floral and sweet without being overpowering. I loved the look of the activated charcoal. The friendly barista gave me a thorough rundown of the menu and got me really excited to come back and try the rest of their drinks. read more
