    Mango Sticky Rice

I was really excited to try this place because I saw it all over my feed at one point. Mango sticky rice was ok. The coconut sauce was a bit salty and the girl was who took our order was rude. She did not greet us or say anything to us after taking our order. Might try to give this place another chance someday and try their drinks. Street parking only. Limited seating (outside only on sidewalk)

Little hole in the wall. It's very charming and the service is nice. I wish the coffee wasn't premade - it would have elevated this 100% I would come again and try other things.

It's Cafe Thai has opened a brick-and-mortar location in the heart of Barrio Logan. I believe the business still makes appearances at some of the local farmers markets. The suite they occupied was very narrow with no indoor seating. A few outdoor tables were set up on the sidewalk in front of the business while some picnic tables were available to the west of the building. Thai beverages, Thai desserts, non-dairy smoothies, and sugar cane drinks made up the menu. I wanted to try one of the five choices in the last category, however the worker informed me that they did not have any sugar cane in stock which was disappointing. I ended up ordering a large Super Tea that was a combination of Thai iced tea and matcha. You could see from the outside of the cup that an orange layer rested above a green layer which meant the Thai iced tea was on top of the matcha. While the flavors were good, there was too much ice added to the drink. The $6 cost for a 20 oz serving wasn't bad so that was positive. Overall, I gave a 3.5 star rating for my experience at It's Cafe Thai.

The presentation is nice and it tasted good but the portion is half the size of what I would expect for the price.

The atmosphere is lovely location good. Food was good but the portion size tiny. My Eye ordered the mango sticky rice. There was no price on the menu for it and they didn't have a display out of Shaun how big it was. Ran out for $12 and what I got is half the size of what you would get at other places for the same item. The coffees and the blended drinks. They were six bucks each so for the same amount of content as the sticky rice.

If you love mango sticky rice this is the spot to be! The sticky rice is sooo sweet and perfectly chewy but also soft! And the mango is always just right. The shop is pretty small so I would recommend you grab and go, but it is very charming and beautifully decorated. Service is also great, the folks are very welcoming and ready to answer any questions.

It's Cafe Thai is one of the newer spots that has opened up in the Barrio Logan area. Here, they are serving up some amazing Thai-inspired drinks and desserts. There is no parking lot here but there is a ton of street parking around the area. Inside, they have limited seating but they do have a nice outdoor patio area with more seating. For their menu, they have a wide range of selection of different drinks and desserts to choose from. Wifey and I tried their Mango Sticky Rice with Coconut Smoothie and it had an amazing flavor profile without being too sweet. Overall, we are glad we stumbled upon this spot while walking around the area and got to support an awesome new AAPI business. All of the staff here, including the owners, are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely come check them out and show some love if you are ever nearby.

Overall pretty good, the coffee was a bit too sweet and we know how Asians are about things being "too sweet". I would get the coconut coffee again if there was a less sugar option. Service was great and minimal seating outside.

I have tried a couple drinks from Cafe Thai. Their menu items are so tasty and truly taste authentic. The inside of the cafe is small but full of plants and very aesthetic if you like that. Friendly service. It's a treat coming here and enjoying their smoothies!

As somebody who isn't the biggest fan of coffee I loved this spot! Cute decor, friendly staff and delicious coffee. I ordered the coconut coffee and although it does lean to the sweeter side as other reviews have mentioned, that's how I like it! Definitely recommend, great addition to Barrio Logan with many cute shops nearby to browse around in while you enjoy your drink.

I got the mango sticky rice smoothie. SO GOOD and flavorful. Not must space to sit and hang around but the ambiance/overall vibe of the place is the cutest thing. Staff was also engaging and welcoming/thoughtful. I appreciate the fast service on a hot day! Thank you for an amazing drink

I look forward to this every week! The workers are always so nice, friendly, and fast. My favorite drink is the Thai Coffee!

Owner was amazing, they deserve 5 stars just for service. The mango sticky was unreal. We got a Thai tea, delicious. Also tried a taro coffee that was amazing. Super cute inside we loved the plants. Will be back when in the area!

It's tucked into a cute neighborhood near Logan Heights. We came around 9 a.m., and street parking was easy to find. There was already a line when we arrived, but it moved pretty quickly. The baristas were friendly and welcoming, and I thought the prices were really reasonable for San Diego. I ordered the black sesame matcha, and my husband got the Piloncillo. The matcha was creamy, rich, and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. One thing to know if you're ordering matcha or a latte--they only offer oat milk, not almond milk. My husband loved his coffee and said the espresso was smooth, flavorful, and let the coffee shine without being overcomplicated. The shop itself is really cool too. There's an art installation inside, an outdoor patio with additional seating, and I noticed quite a few people picking up bags of espresso beans while we were there. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back.

Artwork is very beautiful and fits the Barrio Logan scene perfectly. I arrived with nobody inside the business minus the workers, you had maybe 2 people outside enjoying the scenery and their drinks. Not greeted upon entering the business just gave me that stare with not asking if I had any questions. I dont recall his name but he was very skinny, curly hair or wavy and i believe he had braces, but not sure if he was having a bad day but something wasn't all there. I ordered 2 drinks, I forget the other but it had cinnamon on top. The drinks were just hand on the counter without saying which drinks is which, so i asked which one is which. Didn't hear me, so i kinda said again and he pointed them out not in a nice or rude way but the approach of how it was handled was not friendly. How can you have Mazapán without the Mazapán crumbles which are very iconic to the drink. I just found it super strange and did not care for it. The cinnamon based drink was good tho, which I'll give them that. Experience could have been better.

Wait outside on the sidewalk (no exterior seating) and someone will come to take you inside. Do not ring the door bell. The theme is to take it slow. Each customer typically waits 20-30 minutes to enter as part of how they do things, even if there is open seating inside. Not sure if they use a timer to space entries but it seems consistent. They take one group in at a time. Interior: A few tables around the wall and then bar seating. Would not recommend for parties greater than 2, there just isn't the space. They welcome service animals, babies/children and strollers from what I observed. The music was very, very loud. It was difficult to hold a conversation. I did not see a bathroom. Ordering process: After seating you wait for a little bit for them to bring small water cups and a QR menu with a table number and a set of rules. They do not have a physical menu, you must use your phone to order. Cell phone reception was dicey and took a long time to load. They have an interesting concept where you have a digital 'tab' open on their toast website. Unfortunately you must provide your full name, email and phone number. They have pour over drinks (note these can take 15-20 minutes), matcha, Hojicha and others. You may only order one drink per person at a time. They have a small snack menu with rotating foods. They use oat milk only. No substitutions allowed. After mobile ordering, drinks take 20-30 minutes as part of their take it slow vibe. Matcha $8 is from Paru tea and was very good. Hojicha $8 was too milky and didn't have a strong enough flavor. When you are done you walk to the register by the door and wait to be checked out. If they are making a drink you wait until they are finished. I wasn't really a fan. Staff were brusque. Music was too loud to converse.

The same seating arrangement of the bar countertop and tables across from it was available if you wanted to hang out and chill. A sign behind the bar described the ceremonial grade matcha that was used with the region of origin and the flavors imparted to the powder. Five different matcha drinks were offered along with hot and cold coffees and lattes. The top three matcha choices were priced at $8 each. I chose the Ordinary Pleasure which was the first one. Pandan sticky rice milk and mango puree were added to the matcha and topped with a salted coconut foam. I wasn't a fan of the foam, but the matcha flavor was intense and contrasted by the fruity puree on the bottom of the cup. The baristas were very focused with measuring the exact amounts for each ingredient in the drinks they were preparing. The matcha quality seemed to be very good based on what I tasted so maybe it's why the price was $1 higher than what I have tried elsewhere.
