    Grain bowl with steak
    Jackie S.

Ummmm okay so this meal was EXCELLENT. Hotel restaurants usually suck but boy oh boy was I surprised. I ordered the grain bowl salad and added steak cooked rare. It was exceptional. Perfect. Delicious. The restaurant can get packed because of hotel guests but the staff is great. Food came out relatively quickly too.

Solid restaurant at the Omni. I ate here twice this week while in town for a conference. Tried the popcorn chicken ($16), lamb skewers ($18) and the dairy board ($18), which was so good it was the only dish I ordered on both my visits. The dairy board consisted of warm pita and naan wedges served with three amazing local cheeses - soft ripened mouca (like a Brie), midnight blue semi-soft, and a herb crusted cheese ball that was to die for! Accompaniments included pickled vegetables, a spicy blackberry Serrano pepper jam, grapes, toasted almonds and dried fruit spears. Service was adequate and noise levels were acceptable. Will be back for that dairy board!

The service is amazing! Nice and clean ambiance. Food is timely and delicious. So far my favorite is the Potato-Crusted Salmon. I added toppings into my pepperoni pizza.

I came to Shep's thinking it was going to be a quant little hotel bar/restaurant but I was wrong.... it was poppin. I was also a bit taken aback by how nice it was. I ventured downstairs from my hotel room and was in a sweatsuit and everyone there was dressed to the nines. I got a spicy margarita which was good but really strong. I also ordered the chili and broccolini for dinner. The chili was very oily which I was not expecting but it paired well w the cornbread it came with. My favorite part of this meal was the broccolini... it was lemony with a nice char and a little spice. Would def get the broccolini again. Not sure I'd say the same about the chili and marg but I'd come back to try other things. I feel like I just ordered wrong.

Shep's is a brand new concept at the Omni. They opened in December and have really upped the game. It's much nicer than the old pub that was here. Really good food and an excellent menu. The service staff is amazing. Devin took great care of us.

Stayed at the Omni for a conference and figured I'd swing by the bar at Shep's before orientation. Russ makes one hell of a Basil Hayden's Old Fashioned. 10 out of 10. Would recommend.

In fact, we didn't eat anything that wasn't well seasoned, cooked to order and authentically British. Not an easy find, if you ask me. We sat at their bar, chatted with the bartender - who was really friendly and checked on us often. The place was packed, but we got in quickly and you'd never know they were popping. Their cocktails were amazing and after some chit chat about what I liked and didn't, the suggestions were fabulous. Loved the British decor as well. Such a fun place. It was a lovely evening and we hated to leave, but we'll def be back!

The location is kind of in the middle of nowhere but that's not a bad thing. Lots of parking and outdoor space to wait for a table or pull up a chair. The service is a little stiff and slow but what can you expect from a pub style restaurant. It can get pretty busy inside especially around holidays so definitely make a reservation if you plan on having a big party or don't want to sit at the bar. As far as English/Irish food goes this the only serious contender in the area, i haven't found another UK restaurant that quite mimics the pub atmosphere as well as this one. Check it out for some stick to your ribs goodness!

Okay Chop Shop, I see you!…read more We stopped in on a random weekday evening and ordered a couple spicy margaritas, the Pork Carnitas Rice Noodle, and Bacon Ranch Chicken sandwich with Mac 'n Cheese. The Mac 'n Cheese was super tasty and my hubby enjoyed his Bacon Ranch Chicken sandwich. My Pork Carnitas Rice Noodle was bomb! It was a unique flavor profile, a little sweet, a little sour, and probably a touch oversalted but really yummy. I really liked the spice level and everything was cooked perfectly. The veg in it gave a nice crunch next to the noodles. I will definitely be back to try some more menu items!

This is a fairly small space but there are a few tables in back, which is where we sat. There were 8 of us so we split up into 2 tables. We placed all of our orders, got our drinks, and sat down. The soda fountain offers soft drinks from the Real Sugar Soda Co. It was far superior to the 2 main brands that compete. I enjoyed the change of pace. For dinner, I ordered the Crispy Fried Chicken "Specialty". The "Specialties" are basically a bowl with all of the ingredients listed stacked on top of one another. Mine had white cheddar polenta, Swiss chard with bacon, crispy chicken with gravy and chipotle honey drizzled on top. I also got a side of the tator tots that came with a spicy aioli. The meal was outstanding! I loved the variety of tastes and textures of the bowl. The honey on top was an added sweetness with a hint of heat. It was so good, as were the tator tots. The spicy aioli really added a kick and while the heat lingered a bit, it wasn't overpowering. We ended the meal with their donuts. They are cream filled with caramel drizzle. They are not too sweet and the perfect shareable dessert. If you are looking for something new, definitely try this place. I highly recommend!

I came in on a very busy day of the year so am rounding up since the staff was working really hard to get orders out the door. I ordered a large chicken pho and roasted pork fresh spring rolls to go. The portion of pho broth and bean sprouts was great, but the amount of chicken was a bit disappointing (about 6 total pieces of shredded chicken). Broth was just ok, I added quite a bit of sriracha, lime, basil, and hoisin sauce and still felt it lacked some flavor. The spring roll portion size was great and I loved the massive serving of peanut sauce. The roasted pork inside was incredibly dry. I'd probably opt for tofu or shrimp next time.
