They scheduled an appointment with a speech pathologist, which surprised me because I have a long-lasting cough and congestion but no issues with speech. I met with Delin. She was professional, thorough and her easy-going and friendly manner put me at ease immediately. She performed a minimally invasive procedure with a probe in my throat which was uncomfortable, but she made it as fast, painless and efficient as possible, offering encouragement and support. I found her very thorough, and willing to listen to my symptoms and concerns and address them. Equally important, she was kind, understanding, sympathetic and personable. She asked questions and listened to my responses, seeking more information and deeper understanding. As I've started to age and accumulate more health conditions, I've seen more and more doctors and specialists, many of whom are dismissive, uncaring and even rude. He's kind, caring and takes the time to explain his diagnosis, medical advice, prescriptions, and more. He has gotten us through a few surgical procedures and emergency situations. Melissa, his assistant is a no-nonsense professional who somehow manages the busy phone lines and hectic flow of seniors in and out of the waiting room. One thing I'll never forget is calling his office on a Sunday to leave a message about needing a Rx. He answered the phone and I was able to get antibiotics on a Sunday without going to a pharmacy clinic.

He reported I had high cholesterol scores which could lead to stroke heart attack, and he then proceeded to go over the 30 other blood test results and when I wanted to go back to the one that he flagged as a problem high cholesterol and he said oh, he already told me the score. Very dismissive. I tried writing down the scores he told me don't bother he would give me the sheet. He asked why I wasn't coming every six months and I said I wasn't aware there was a problem. I asked to see last year's score and they couldn't do that due to a computer glitch. He seemed annoyed that I wanted to ask questions I told him I didn't appreciate that and then he stated it seemed we're having problems communicating. At that point I just said we've always had this problem and then he just got up left room and terminated me as a patient. When I first started seeing him his niece would come into write notes on each visit. I recommend he go back to that.

He takes his time during evaluations to understand your overall health, even things not related to allergies. He has even done some research on the spot to give me more information than i had about an issue with my diet and how it might be affecting my overall health. I also come to his office for allergy shots every 3 to 4 weeks and the staff has always been helpful and friendly. I am not a fan of needles and most sessions are as painless as one can hope. This is the 5th allergist i have seen in over a decade due to relocations to different states and i can honestly say I like this office the best, for my needs. I would highly recommend him over any of the mutli doctor offices i have seen in the past.

I came back and I was given another injection which was painful as I felt no relief from an anesthesic. I asked the doctor what was nect. Her assistant said "No pokes" She said next I'd be getting an oblation. I tried to speak with the doctor about what was happening with no luck. All was very strange. I cancelled all future appointments but kept getting a referral from, I guess, the oblation doctor. Obviously, this doctor does little talking.
