    Water leaking in attic.

    So really starting to question my loyalty to Sherlock HVAC. I've been a "VIP" customer since 2016 when they installed a new A/C and Furnace for me. I've always depended on them for annual or semi-annual "time-ups" which I appreciate. However, today I am somewhat disappointed. Here is the story, more than a week ago, A/C shut off with an error code of E74 on the Nest. Appointment was set for the following week (which was last Friday). On Thursday, the day before my appointment, the A/C came back in with no more error code. I immediately called Sherlock and the girl on the phone basically told me with no error code, not much he can do except charge me $99 and call them back if it happens again. Fast forward to today. I just get back from the store and every smoke detector starts going off. I go upstairs and notice water leaking through the smoke detector at the top of the stairs. I immediately think this A/C related and sure enough I go in the attic and see water actively leaking from the unit. I called Sherlock and the guy that answered took my info and told me he would forward it to Superior along with a description of the problem. I specifically asked for a call back either way so I know what to expect. I wait an hour and no call back. I call back again....same thing. The guy takes my info and will forward to the supervisor. Here it is at midnight with not a peep from Sherlock. Sherlock: Why have someone answer the phone on weekends if your not going to follow up with the customer??? I get it that you might not get out to my house, but a call back would nice and professional and helps the customer manage expectations in case I need to find a 24 hour service. Really disappointing experience today when I really needed some help.

    We had a leak and a nightmare experience through another plumbing company. Then Kacey at Sherlock Plumbing Heating & Air was so nice, patient, and knowledgeable over the phone. Kyle came, found the cause of our leak within minutes, and fixed the problem at a very reasonable price. We were so happy to have a great plumber in the house, we asked Kyle to install 4 new bathroom faucets. They look awesome! We're so happy to have found Sherlock Plumbing Heating & Air!

    Their 59$ mailer coupons are a scam. They just take your information to tell you afterwards they are busy all summer long. Waste of time.

TIMELY- Uriel called 30 min before his arrival and then, arrived at the stated time. This is particularly helpful so I can move my bunny to another room with all of his belongings. ATTENTION TO DETAIL - I saw him place a protective cloth down on the floor before he placed the ladder and tools down. I also noticed there was a bottle of cleaner with his supplies. He cleaned the inside vents as well as the compressor on the roof. He also tied off a loose wire/when checking the air handler in the ceiling. KNOWLEDGEABLE and THROROUGH - Uriel did a complete system check and then, he sat down with me to explain what was done and why. He addressed the concerns I had about some of the prior readings in terms that I could understand and shared tips that will help ensure my system runs at its most efficient. Example: A higher MERV doesn't always mean "better" and can actually restrict the airflow. He said that for my particular system I should use a MERV10 filter and change it every 3 months. He changed my filters and then, left me with two spares to use before the fall check comes. FRIENDLY - In the course of chatting with Uriel, it came up that I might benefit from having more filtered air coming into my condo. He made a recommendation for a part that would replace the standalone room air purifier I currently use. He placed this info into the after-visit summary so I can "research it and see if it fits with my needs and finances." There was zero pressure to make a purchase on the spot. And while this next item has nothing to do with the knowledge or ability of an HVAC tech, I greatly appreciate that he did NOT smell like cigarette / e-cigarette smoke or strong cologne as I have a bunny and people in my family have asthma. Thank you, Uriel, for a job well done.

Recently my heater stopped blowing heat and they offered me a next business day appointment. The tech showed up on time and diagnosed the problem within a few minutes and got it repaired. In the past this heater had serious issues and would not work after several uses. I had a couple different companies come out and repair it, but within a few uses it would stop working again. I was at my wits end and randomly called tSpecialized Mechanical. I gave the tech the history of the problems with the unit. He did an evaluation and then offered to do additional research on this particular unit I have. He was able to figure out the problem, got the right part ordered, and fixed it. I really appreciated the extra effort to find the root of the problem. I'll never use any other company.

Our landlord set up an appt with specialized mechanical and sent them over to help. They came in promptly that following Monday morning. I was in a very bad mood that morning because I had not had caffeine or food, but Hakeem was still very professional and helpful.
