The staff at the Sherwin Williams in El Dorado Hills, CA, is fantastic. Great customer service! The shop is on White Rock Road behind the El Dorado Hills Town Center. I dropped on in a bunch of times before I actually bought anything. Each and every time I dropped in, they treated me well. And I was without the hubby on all if my visits. Yup, I was a lone women on these visits. Ok... let me explain. The first time I went in to check out paint choices for furniture. The staff was super helpful. Luv that their staff was diverse and included women. I came back several more times to look at interior paint colors. The staff did it up sell me on product. They advised that the cheapest bottom of the line paint brand was perfectly fine for my needs. Finally I made a decision on the color and bought primer and brushes. They didn't have the interior house paint n stock though. So they took my contact info and called me a few days later when the paint came in. Great customer service! They were able to mix the exact colors I wanted. They securely and neatly placed the gallons in a box. They offered to load the items into my car. They applied the best discounts available. After the discounts, the prices were significantly cheaper than the big box brands. The primer and paint went on well. The colors are true.

I made an appointment with Vanessa (who had been recommended by a previous contractor), and was totally impressed with her expertise and ability to help me. I brought in samples of my cabinet, countertop, and floor tile, and she initially narrowed the selections to 5 possibilities that could work. Then one by one, we together discussed what and why one selection would fit my needs. Her professionalism, knowledge, exceptional customer service and courteous and friendly demeanor helped make what could have been an arduous task into an enjoyable one. My house is in-between the Folsom store and the one on Greenback in Citrus Heights. The lady who answered the phone at the Folsom location was OK but didn't seem very willing to help. I decided to go to the Greenback store after she told me that they just mix the color so yes they'll have it. Since I was less than impressed with her I gave the other store a shot... And I'm so glad I did. I was promptly greeted by Sergio who asked me if I wanted help within seconds entering the store. I said "Yes, I need this color" which he had to go to the back to get the color card. He came out asking me questions about my project (what I was painting, what material I was painting, what I was matching it with,etc.). He genuinely cared about me and my needs! I was concerned with the amount of blue in the gray that I chose as I have had a bad experience in the past when my "gray" turned out to be baby blue on my walls. He showed me other grays with blue undertones and really solidified my choice. He then asked me for some specs on my project which he used to calculate how much I should buy. He has mastered the art of "needs based selling" and he was directing me in the way I wanted to go. After all, he is the expert. The whole time I was there he was asking me questions about myself and sharing a bit about himself. I really did not feel like I was just another customer at just another chain paint store. To top it off what he was sharing with me was about how great his company is in training, promoting, and growing employees. He said his management team is amazing and supports him and his team. I mean, who doesn't want to patronize a company when their employee is speaking so highly of them? I will be back and I will be referring all of my friends and family to Sergio and his team.
