They opened the cans check the paint shook it up and I don't have to replace it. They were kind enough to do all that for me Since I only need touchup paint. To anyone considering using Sherwin Williams! This store "Folsom" is absolutely terrible! Iv been in the painting business for 23 years and have never been so disrespected by a paint store in my lifetime! The sales representative Sergio had met me on a job where the materials "paint & primer" had failed on a T-1-11 exterior house in el dorado hills and Sergio had explained that he thought it was best to let the house to continue to peel, chip, and flake away until this spring and they would provide a more adequate "paint & primer" at no cost. Well.. When the time came in late April they are choosing to change their minds and not provide the materials needed that were already promised to me and my customers! They did not stick to their word which to me is disappointing and disrespectful. I consider that a lie right to my face. I will never use SW again and will continue to warn people on every social media platform known to warn people about the shady practices going on with management and their sales representatives "Sal" and "Sergio" . Not to mention there paint products are NOT what they used to be. I made the switch to from SW to Kelly Moore for this exact reason and so should everyone who reads this post... Pretty sad SW.... read more

Total waste of time. I dropped off a painted drywall sample that I cut from my wall in order to get a custom color match. I came back to pick up my paint and the guys in the store couldn't find my samples and they hadn't made my paint. As I stood there waiting, they were running around looking through the trash and anywhere else they could think to look. They were also very clearly discussing how this SAME PROBLEM keeps happening over and over. They even called a guy who wasn't working at the time to see if he knew anything. It was like watching a bunch of monkeys f*cking a football. Finally, after 15 minutes the guy shuffles out from the back and tells me, without making eye contact, that they didn't know what to do. No solution or even an apology. So now I need to cut another sample from my wall and start the whole process again AT KELLEY MOORE. Amateur hour all the way. I came here for service but Lowe's gives better service than this paint store. Whoever runs this circus needs to pay more attention to detail and should train their people on process and customer service. Will never be back. read more

After going through 20 color samples for my kitchen, their employee Linda Kessler helped me pick a color to coordinate with my granite and flooring. It's beautiful, and I am forever grateful. That's why I'm giving four stars. I would give it 5 stars but for two reasons: First, I wish their samples were smaller, I only need a cup of paint to see if the color is right. Second, I bought their recommended high end paint, but ran out with just a bit more needed. When I went back to buy a quart, I was told they don't sell quarts of that product. After receiving absolutely no attention at Kelly Moore, I went to Sherwin Williams to pick up three small paintbrushes. I was able to immediately find two of them and the guy behind the counter took me to another area of the store where he handed me the other one I needed. My wife also called over and requested two gallons of paint. They were still being shaken when I arrived and there was absolutely no wait time for me. Stopped here on our way to pick up Behr paint from Home Depot, which was recommended by our contractor. Our previous contractor completely screwed us by using $9, yes you read that correctly, $9 PAINT, which he watered down so much it is literally see through, and looks horrific. The employee, Alex, explained to us the wash ability, the coverage, and long lasting results their products have. We decided to go with them over anything else. Ron, the store manager was able to mix the paint color we needed and have it ready in time so our contractor could pick it up. Ron also upgraded our paint due to the one we requested being out of stock. We will definitely return here to purchase more paint, and anything else our contractor needs which Sherwin Williams supplies. read more

We went to a different paint store before and they were absolutely not helpful - no recommendation which colors to choose, what color goes with what etc. This store is amazing!!!! Don't go here, I wish I never did!!!!!! I am a frequent touch up painter because I have three kids and three dogs. We have a 5000 SF house that we purchased about a year ago. The entire house is one color, flat and semi-gloss in the wet areas. I had a entire bucket (originally from Sherwin Williams) of flat paint that I was hoping to get matched for the semi-gloss because I wasn't left with any. Their matching skills were very poor. I brought samples of wall and my flat paint to help match. "Good enough" is not good enough when it comes to touch up. It needs to be exact otherwise my walls are polka dotted. The people there were useless. The manager was constantly yelling and fighting with the employees while I was there. He seemed more concerned with calling them names instead of matching my color. I finally accepted the fact that I was going to have to re-paint my entire kitchen because their matching wasn't good. When I went to pick up the paint (3rd trip to the store) and my original flat paint, they dropped the bucket in the back. I heard tons of profanity when it happened. Then the employee (after being yelled at by the manager) brought my messy paint up to me and told me there was still some left and they would put it in a new container. 4th trip to the store- I picked everything up. I went from having a huge bucket of flat paint to a small can that will not last long for my 5000 SF house. I tried to touch up my walls the other day and realized they gave me a completely new flat paint. It doesn't match my walls. I am FURIOUS! I wish I never went here and was better off before. I can't afford to paint my entire house right now. I have zero paint and polka dotted walls from their mistake. I have heard the Folsom Home Depot is really good at paint matching and actually cares about doing a good job. I'm going to try going there to see if they can fix Sherwin Williams mistakes. read more

I had no clue where to begin, but Sherwin Williams was very helpful and kind during my several visits in. Service at this location sucks. I like SW paint if your getting their high end product but I won't go back to this store. The staff here like to let people know why they can't do something or just simply make a simple task way to complicated. I prefer a place that has solutions and a "can do" attitude. I went to the store a couple weeks ago to look for a wallpaper book that I had borrowed once before. It was not in its place and the employee told me he could look to see if it was checked out. He got busy helping someone else and I had to leave. A couple weeks later, I called (trying to save 50 minutes round trip driving and some gas) to ask if it was there. Matt, the manager, put me on hold. He came back and told me I'd have to come in and look for it myself and that he had no way to see if it was currently checked out with someone. Today I drove there as suggested by Matt. Reece offered to help, so he went to the back to see if maybe it was there. All of a sudden, I hear yelling coming from the back! "...She called here on Saturday and I told her we don't have it!...There's no way to see if it's checked out!" :0 There was more yelling but at that time, I looked around at the customers and other employee to see their expressions on their faces! Reece came out looking like someone just handed him his butt on a platter. Poor guy. I told Reece I didn't understand why they take someone's credit card and license if they can't check to see if it's missing or checked out. He apologized for Matt's behavior and offered to help me look for the book. I had already looked so I didn't expect Reece to look again. After that rude and unprofessional experience, I won't be going back and I won't recommend them to anyone. See other comments about the manager. He needs customer service training. read more
