My contractor who has painted my cabinets and doors buys the paint here. A few weeks ago I painted the fences around the house. My homeowners association requires the pre-approved colors be purchased at Dunn Edwards. The paint in all scenarios worked out fine. I had several gallons of old paint that needed disposal. I called ahead and got the okay to bring them in. The supposed daily limit to dispose paint is 5 gallons / day. I brought in about 7 gallons and the guys were nice and took it all without complaint. Cool, saved me a second trip. I'm about to start yet another painting project. Will buy the paint here. read more

Ridiculous how long we had to wait to have one quart of paint color matched. They said it would be one hour and they would call us. At 2 hours we called to see if it was ready and they said another 15 min. This just seems ridiculous to have customers have to wait that long or drive back and forth to wait for paint especially when I was in the middle of a job. I have never had to do this before and can't believe this is the new procedure. read more

I visited this Roseville location several times over the past month matching up and comparing colors for a re-paint of my home. I tested several sample colors on my house before I made the commitment. Vanessa, a color consultant with Dunn-Edwards, provided me with several color options, as well as a picture of my home with the final color combination added. It was fantastic to be able to see the house with the actual colors applied. There was no charge for this service, which really gave me an edge when it came to determining the final color combination on the house. Service was perfect on every visit. The actual paint, which I have used in the past, holds up well, and the exterior enamels for both stucco and wood are easy to clean and about as durable as any paint I have ever used. Marko Cekic of Exclusive Exteriors, a painting contractor that uses Dunn-Edwards paints exclusively, did the actual painting of the house. Marie, the professional colorist, was instrumental in matching my old room color and provide directions for my other new colors that I needed. It is such a great service that is free! For starters, yes, it is a five star review for paint. Not necessarily the product itself, which has been just fine, but rather the service I've gotten. The idea of reviewing a paint store is, well, about as exciting as watching paint dry. Over the past year and a half, I've had a handful of projects that have required different types of paints. Not just painting the walls in my kid's room that makes my wife happy but real man-type projects. The service I received from Dan at the Roseville store was as good as it gets. His paint expertise got me the right stuff and the right equiptment for the job. My own fault, I had a color issue - he fixed it. Confused about what was the best paint roller - he offered advice.
