we use contractors warehouse as our main store for remodeling our home, but have come across constant issues with returns. we have two locations near us, one further then the other. we tend to go to the watt ave location but were in the area of citrus heights. decided to return something there and they declined the return and said that the item is not in stock, which is a complete lie because I walked to the item after I was told this. They simply did not want to take the return because it was a different location. That is unprofessional and not how business should be done. read more

Poor customer service. Customer service is the key to prolonged success in business, unfortunately the staff at Contractors Warehouse lacked it on my visit. No introductions upon entering the store, no one asked to be of assistance, one person was in their car in the parking lot and three others were deep in conversation amongst themselves behind the customer service desk. To finish off my unsuccessful trip they don't carry 10' and 12' pressure treated wood so I had to go to Lowe's anyway. Next time I will save the trip. read more

Shopped around multiple stores for my upcoming kitchen remodel. Even visited other contractors warehouses in my area. This location by far has the best customer service and employees out of all the places that I visited. Greeted every time I set foot in the store and was asked multiple times by various employees if I needed help. Finally found the perfect 40" cabinets for our kitchen. I came in to purchase 8 doors and 2 sliding doors for my remodel. Tony helped me out big time. He explained how the doors are measured (rough opening vs. Stud to stud) and how much wiggle room there is when it comes to installing them. I picked up the sliding doors couple of days ago and khachik helped me load them into the Uhaul truck. I've always shopped at Home depot, but I think this store is my go to now. This store is the best! We needed to buy flooring for our house, and the people at this store really did a great job. They helped us pick out the right flooring, which happened to be a close out deal, and then because that store didn't have enough of the tile on hand, they helped us find the rest of what we needed at their other stores in the area. The manager called ahead for us, and they had everything waiting for us when we arrived. We are also going to buy our Baseboards from them as well! Wow this store is much cheaper then Home Depot and Lowes on most items. Yesterday I priced out the cost of materials to replace the Siding and windows on the back of my house and this store has the same items for about 1/3 less. On 3,500 that's quite a savings. This store is organized and clean. The staff is helpful and available to answer questions. They offer delivery for a fee. I was impressed by this store and we will return to purchase materials for my repairs. I recommend that you at least stop by this store when researching your next home improvement. read more

After visiting the HD supply in Rancho Cordova and getting the runaround, I was sent to the HD supply location and Citrus Heights Heights. After being given bad information by a representative in Rancho Cordova, I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Lillian at the citrus Heights location. I explained to her what I needed, explained to her the runaround I was getting from the other store location and she took care of the rest. Her and her staff, to include Shanan (not sure on the spelling) took the time to track down the materials I needed and pointed me in the right direction. We had been in the store returning some cabinets and lost the cabinet we purchased receipt. Elvira was amazing! She took the time to go through phone number and finally went to the actual register to look for a copy of the receipt. I'm tempted not to review this place--not that I think my opinion holds that much value--because this place feels like a really good secret that shouldn't be leaked. Nevertheless, this store is absolutely amazing. I remember buying a computer from this same building in 2003 when it was still a Circuit City, but now it's been retrofitted into a sort of Home Depot/Habitat for Humanity thrift store hybrid. It definitely leans more toward Home Depot though. My wife and I had budgeted $200 or so for a new bathroom sink for the vanity we're building and found one we loved for $88. They also had a wide variety of doors and other materials we've been looking for at half to a third of the price we've seen at other big box competitors. The staff were very friendly and helpful when needed. There was no one crowding the ends of aisles, trying to sell people on various overpriced, store provided services, or solar power or whatever. The selection on interior/exterior fittings, and building supplies was easily comparable to Home Depot or Lowe's in most respects. The tool selection was a bit sparse, but overall, this place had all the major bits covered. The aisles are a bit narrow in places, which could be problematic if it gets busy in there, or if you have more than one cart. The parking lot was also a little deceptive as far as finding the entryway, but honestly, no serious complaints about this place. Highly recommended! read more

I would have to say that all of HD Supply are amazing in their own way. For example, they do carry many stuff slash tools that no other Home Depot's carry. For example there are those euro vanity faucets that Home Depot discontinued last month, Hd supply is still carrying them like no problem. There are slab stone corners that Home Depot also stopped carrying because they "don't bring any profit" however Hd supply has it any stone like hinder honey or Sierra blue. You can find that in any of the HD SUPPLY. I would have to say that it's much easier to find stuff in had supply but there are no one to help you load. For example, there are no associates walking around hD supply that can help you load or find stuff ( for example doors and heavy other stuff. There are no associates outside to help you load. read more

Horrible place. I won't go here ever again. Bought cabinets that had to be assembled myself. 50% of the cabinets I bought were either missing hardware or were made of severely warped wood. Attempts to get missing hardware were met with extreme skepticism and hostility. The manager, Jorge refused to allow me to exchange one of the cabinets even with a receipt, and wouldn't even give me partial store credit. I have bought cabinets at other locations for other jobs and never had any problems with the quality of the merchandise or service. Usually HD supply has great service, but Jorge is downright rude. read more

Watch what you do here. Asst. Mgr Aubriana tells me that if I pay for a clearance door I can come back in a little bit and get it. I shop and spend over $200. When I get ready to pay for the double French doors that are over 6ft wide and will not fit in my full size truck. Hence why I need to come back with my trailer. Cashier tells me I cant leave the doors, Aubriana didnt have guts to tell me herself. I said Aubriana was okay with me coming back if I paid for the over 6ft doors. So my husband says I have blankets we can put on top of tanue cover. So I paid for doors it took 2 employees and my 6"4 250lb hubby to load. The employees wouldnt have been able to lift it. So dont trust them when they tell you something. When I walked over to her Aubrianas name she was very rude when I asked why did you tell me I could come back and 10 min later tell me you cant do that. She said it was on clearance to her it gone. I thought to myself, wow that's smart. Trust goes along way. We have spent over 10k there in last 3 months. Bad customer service. read more

Wondering how this place makes any money. I shopped in here over a week ago and they had a forklift infront of product I needed. I came back and it was still there. Asked if someone could move it and the only guy that can drive it would be in later, didn't seem to think it was a big deal. I bought a set of cabinets from HD supply online. One cabinet did not come in so a week later HD supply contacted meand informed me that they will be turn my money on the base cabinet and I should go to my local HD supply and pick it up already assembled. I picked it up and it look the same so I assembled it in the kitchen. Only when I stood back and took a side-by-side comparison did I realize that the one from the store was a slightly off cream versus the white cabinets that came from online. I spoke with the online supply store and they told me it would have to be resolved in the store. I call to the store and spoke to a few managers explaining the situation and nobody would take the cabinet back because it already had holes in it because I already assembled it. It was not my fault that the manufacture made the cabinets different. They should have let me return the cabinet no questions asked because it was there a problem that the cabinet was off-white. They wanted nothing to do with it and they kept telling me they cannot do it read more
