Shield Fire and & Security recently did an alarm in my home. Everything went great! I was hestitant because of all the companies with poor reviews but i noticed Shield's logo at the office building where I work so I gave them a call. They wanted to come out and view my house that same day but i had to schedule for the following day. A sales rep named Angi came out and gave me a qoute on the spot. She was so easy to work with and they did the installation the very next day. The technician was fast and very clean which made my wife happy and now I have the peace of mind knowing every window and door on my house is monitored and I only pay a few bucks a month. I was even able to get an app for my phone so I can see exactly whats going on. If you are thinking of getting security just call these guys and pay the few bucks a month to rest easy. The techs were on time, to the point and actually were done quicker than i expected. I just moved to Las Vegas and purchased a home. The home had an existing ADT alarm system but it was pretty bare bones and didn't have a control panel in the second floor master bedroom. I called ADT to get a quote to upgrade the system and add a control panel upstairs. ADT gave a very expensive quote and told me they couldn't add the control panel upstairs. I contacted my HOA and they told me several people in my community were using Shield. I gave Shield a call. They quoted me a price to install a much nicer unit that met all of my specifications including a control panel in the master bedroom. Best of all, Shield's price was less than what ADT wanted to add on to the current system. Shield came out, the Technician was great, answered all my questions, did the install and explained how to use the system. Everything works great and Shield did everything they said they would. A friend recommended that I use Shield, and at first I was a bit concerned that I had not ever heard about the company. But after a little research, it seemed like a good choice, and what better recommendation than a friend's. When I got my alarm installed, I had TONS of questions. I have a split level house, and was concerned that my dog would set off the alarm when he goes up and down the stairs. The technician answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. He walked me step by step through the process of setting up my online account and through the app. I've already had my alarm be set off once, and I received a call from the alarm company immediately after it went off. The company sent someone to go check on my house and fortunately everything was ok. I was away on a trip, so it was comforting to know that I could still know that my house was protected and that I could have someone check on the house for me. The whole process was fast and easy. The company is good with answering questions/concerns. Prices are reasonable and they offer a lot of different features.
