    Some selection of goods

Very impressed by Shilla Bakery! Great beverages at a low cost ($11 for 2) and very spacious café. We also tried the hot dog pastry and banana muffin... both were incredible!! The service was also great - very personable and friendly! This is an excellent spot to work or to hang out with friends.

Went here for the first time. The quality is excellent some of the best pastry I've had. (Nutella muffin). Wish they had a little more selection. Ambiance is just average but the service is very good as well including their coffee.

Tried the almond Kant, it was good

This is my 2nd time at Shilla bakery, but first time at this location. Shilla bakery basically carries the same baked goods as the other 4-5 neighboring bakeries, but they are individually packed (which is a super plus for me). There were so many pastries and gorgeous cakes to choose from. The price point is also the same as the nearby bakeries. I was curious to try their Dubai chocolate pistachio latte or the pistachio cream latte given those are the latest craze, but I wasn't in the mood. Additionally, they didn't have the prices on the printed papers placed on the counter. They sell plain coffee, but it was way too overpriced to want to get. I only tried 2 pastries that I haven't seen elsewhere: Almond Kant ($3.75) and Tiramisu Bun ($3.50). I actually enjoyed the first one, it was super sweet and a little oily but still yummy. The 2nd one was okay, I didn't realize there was cream in the middle, subtle sweetness. The customer service..well, not much to say. The guy was just standing there, didn't even greet us. They aren't overly friendly, but just enough. I haven't really looked around to see if the place is clean because I was so focused on finding the right pastry to satisfy my craving that day. There is outdoor seating available in front of the bakery, nothing fancy. They have plenty of parking in front of the bakery, shared by neighboring vendors. Would I return? definitely! I need to try the cakes and lattes!!

Shilla Bakery is a Korean bakery in Chantilly near the At Home. There's plenty of parking in the lot in the complex, and this is a great cafe to get work done in or catch-up casually with a friend. There's plenty of indoor seating, good wifi, and a cute ambiance. There's also a wide variety of desserts and drinks to choose from. The baristas are chill and nice, it didn't take long for our drinks to come out. However, there's not too many savory options, especially if you're vegetarian. The cakes were a little dry and my matcha was a little watery/didn't have a prominent rose flavor, but I spent a good amount of time getting my PA school applications done without getting distracted. The prices are a little high, but reasonable for the area. I'd try this place once if you need somewhere to lock in with a sweet treat.

    Bingsoo ( mango and strawberry)

One of my favorite places to visit when I'm in the area! It's a big space with tons of seating, inside and out. Service was quick too. These bingsoos were perfectly sized and super refreshing. I also bought an ube fresh cream cake (ate too fast and didn't get a picture), mango bread (next day snack - good), and a massive cookie. Never have I had a bad dish from here.

This is a great cafe and bakery. They have a a wide selection of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies and hot/cold drinks. They also have a nice seating area for you to enjoy your food and drinks. We bought a loaf of their plain bread which is so much better than ones you can get at a grocery store. We also bought one of their specialty cakes for a party. They have so many different types of cakes that look like art work. They even have a Pikachu cake! Take a look at my pics for other cakes, especially their strawberry cake! The service is awesome too. The ladies behind the counter are super friendly.

Shilla Bakery is among the first to introduce Korean baked treats to the DMV, and its location in Chantilly is the cleanest among all Shilla Bakery outlets I've visited. The service here is exceptional, with friendly staff who elevate the experience. The Shilla Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich is packed with fresh ingredients and a fluffy egg on a brioche bun--hands down the best breakfast sandwich I've had among all Shilla Bakeries. The latte is full-bodied and robust, perfectly complementing the meal. The pistachio cake is a delightful treat, offering a light and subtle flavor with crunchy pistachio nuts on top. It pairs beautifully with the strong coffee, making it an ideal dessert. Everything was so incredible that I couldn't resist buying extra pastries to enjoy later.

This is an adorable little bakery with some amazing food a lot of treats you won't find elsewhere in Korean bread, including mammoth bread super delicious and worth a stop

The sweet smell of fresh baked goods as soon as you walk through the doors. And when I say options, it's an understatement. There is something for everyone.

Beautiful Christmas decor (I came on a January Thursday afternoon), friendly, and simply pleasant. Large variety of East Asian savory breads as well as beautiful cakes. I especially recommend their lemon cello cakes.

Cute little bakery just opened near our house. We have always love Shilla and so decided to try this place out. We were craving bingsoo so stop by here and get the mixed fruit bingsoo to satisfy our craving. We stop by here on a sunday afternoon so it's a bit crowded. They do have lots of tables to sit at but I must say this Shilla is a bit smaller than the one in centreville. We ordered our bingsoo and customer service was nice, quick and fast. I'm a bit dissapointed because they don't have the yogurt bingsoo but the mixed fruit will do. They put fruits and layered of syrup evenly. A layer of fruit, a layer of ice. It's pricier than i remember but worth it!

Also loved that they had packets of hot sauce available. My son got a bagel with cream cheese and my partner got a bagel with butter and jam plus a chai latte. Only note is that the bagel came with a ton of cream cheese, so if you don't like it piled on, I'd recommend asking for light cream cheese. Overall we really loved it and would definitely come back when we're in the area again!

The decor makes you think of what you'd find at an eccentric great aunt's home, but in a positive way. Each area has its own mini aesthetic that contributes to the entire place; in the back are color themed books that give it a more serious look, while upstairs is more whimsical in it's random assortment of chairs and couches. The food is in appealing display cases downstairs. The stand out pastries for me are the tiramisu filled cronuts. Drinks wise, they have the typical cafe fare but excitingly so they also have Colombe on draft which I will always be excited about. I recommend this place to grab a snack and socialize!

Among the baked goods I sampled were some intriguing flavors with quality, but some items were a bit dry, leading to croissants that were just a bit too flaky to be practical. Still, I think it's reasonable to want to just buy some high-quality Asian baked goods, and when I compare this to the experience at the top places in the area, I don't know why I needed to come here.

At the time of this review, this is not a sit down venue. Expect no frills when you walk in, but delectable goods in-hand when you walk out! I've been looking for one for years in this area & have finally found it. My favorite bakery. Why? It's not a cool trendy or fancy venue, but the owners take the time to take care of you when you walk in.
