Service was outstanding!!! The gal who served us was so friendly and helpful. I got these for my son and husband and tried a bite of each. They are quite decadent. Full of toppings and pretty good. Maybe slightly too doughy of a cinnamon roll. They are expensive for one cinnamon roll but a fun treat to splurge on every now and then! No place to sit and eat.. it's a grab and go type of place. They do have cookies with toppings, drinks and dole whip if you are looking for another option.

I went to cinnaholic recently to try out one of their cinnamon buns but got introduced to something else. When I walked in no was there. I called for help a couple of times but no response. A couple minutes later a baker came out from the back and was looking for someone to help me. Still no one came out. Before I walked in I saw a girl in the front of the restaurant on the phone. Apparently that girl was the cashier. Before the baker went back to the kitchen I asked for his recommendation. I say I was between the lemon/blueberry coffee cake and the Cookie Monster cinnamon bun. Surprisingly he said the lemon/blueberry coffee cake so that's what I got. I also got a day after cinnamon roll with frosting on the side. Total ended up being the same as if I got the Cookie Monster cinnamon bun. I don't regret my decision at all. Definitely a unique place.

This just opened in our neighborhood yesterday and I told my girlfriend about it. I hadn't seen a Cinnaholic since I moved from Las Vegas in 2018 so I was excited. The line was a tad long but it was opening day so it was to be expected. It took 45 mins to get through the line and get our cinnamon rolls but it was worth it. We ordered an Old Skool, a Clock Tower Plaza and a Girl Scout. The old skool is a classic cinnamon roll and it's done really well. I appreciate when a business masters the basics before moving onto experimental flavors. The Clock Tower Plaza is a rotating flavor that is like a German chocolate cake. It was delicious and had a chocolate frosting with walnuts and brownies on top. The last roll was another rotating flavor, the Girl Scout. It was kind of like a Samoa. It had frosting and coconut and chocolate chips. I personally liked it but Samoas are my favorite Girl Scout cookie flavor. The service was quite fast even for it being an opening day. They were just working with a large volume of people. I expect the wait will be much shorter as it stays in the neighborhood longer. The man who owns two locations in Maryland came all the way out to Herndon to help out on opening day and he was super friendly and fun to talk to while we waited in line. He passed out some cookie dough samples too which was nice. It's a pretty small space overall so I could see it being crowded at times. But it smelled incredible. There's nothing quite like the smell of fresh cinnamon rolls. I recommend trying this place if you like cinnamon rolls. You can customize your own or choose from the signature rolls they are known for.

I have been on the hunt for a good local cinnamon roll and was so excited when Cinnaholic announced they were opening a Herndon location! My husband and I attended the soft opening and brought home 4 rolls - a combination of menu items, seasonal flavors, and custom rolls. We put them in the fridge for 24 hours to enjoy with the kids on a Saturday AM and were delighted that they still tasted fresh when warmed up. The fruit is remarkably fresh (huge raspberries in winter!) and they don't skimp on toppings. We love the variety of options to create custom rolls. I recently tried another roll and was relieved that the quality hasn't gone down despite being open a few months. Definitely recommend a visit!

Got the old school regular cinnamon buns to go. Wanted first time to get true taste of the bun which is very good. Small place, just enough space to order and pick up. Staff were friendly and helpful. I will go again to try a bunch of with toppings.

The Brownie double chocolate cookie is hands-down my favorite and tastes like a fudgy brownie. The dark chocolate chips just melt! The Classic Chocolate Chip cookie was a bit too sweet and tastes like a sugar cookie with chocolate chips. I wasn't a fan of the Cookies and Cream Oreo cookie. The Cina-Cookie tastes like a buttery Snickerdoodle cookie with cream cheese filling. The Birthday Bash cookie was fun to try, but quite sweet and loaded with sugar. Highly recommend warming up the cookies in the microwave for 20-30 sec, they soften up and taste like they were just baked with that delicious ooey gooey texture. The chocolate chips just melt in your mouth! If you get delivery, the cookies are stone cold. Delivery takes 2-3 days after placing an order, even local shipping takes a full day. While it was fun to try the 4 pack of cookies with delivery, it was just too much and I was on a serious sugar overload. It would be nice to have an option to only get a set of 2 cookies with delivery. The cookies just don't taste as good cold even with reheating and it's better just to get the cookies at the shop. Will stop by for the Chocoholic double chocolate when I'm in the area. Happy to support this small NOVA business!

Important reminders: each MidnighTreats cookie weighs over 1/3 pound! They're enormous, and for sure big enough to split (... to share, sure, or just to enjoy yourself later; they even recommend cutting them in half before freezing them [if they last that long]). PRO TIP: you *have* to reheat them before eating them (otherwise the flavor/taste/texture just isn't the same). Build your own box for currently $30 ($20 plus $10ish for shipping), and some of the flavors change each month. We've tried... + Birthday Bash (funfetti rainbow sprinkles cookie): personally, I like the nostalgic flavor of generic "birthday cake" that's recently become a thing, and I think they do a fantastic job capturing it! + Strawberry Shortcake (shortcake cookie smothered in strawberry icing): This was the taste of summer I needed. So bright! Just the right amount of sweet! And they definitely didn't hold back on the icing! +/- The Classic (a blend of dark and semi-sweet chocolate chips): compared to other vegan chocolate chip cookies that can be shipped to your home, this one's actually one of the better ones! +/- The Chocoholic (fudgy double chocolate chip cookie): you have to REALLY, REALLY like/be craving chocolate for this one. - Cookies N Cream (oreo bits with chocolate chips and vanilla chips): this one was just okay, and I take the blame for missing that it contained white chocolate chips which I am not a fan of. It says they're vanilla, but that's not what they taste like to me. - The Cinna-Roll: I believe the recipe for this one has changed over the years, because it used to be a cinnamon roll flavored cookie with cream in the center (and there was *barely* any of it, making it a very dry, very boring cookie). It seems it's now a cinnamon roll cookie smothered in vanilla icing, so I just wanted to make sure I had corrected info here. Other things of note: they've donated thousands of dollars to animal sanctuaries across the country! they've planted close to 20K trees with reforestation projects! they've donated thousands to local schools and shelters in their NOVA community! How can you not love a company who's built in giving back to their community in their core principles?!

Upon our arrival, we were seated near a window overlooking the sidewalk where we were able to watch people passing by while enjoying our candlelit meal. 10 out of 10 for atmosphere at this charming and cozy table. The service was prompt and attentive. We started by enjoying a few of the craft cocktails, which were simply wonderful and the product of a talented and adept bartending. If your idea of a good cocktail involves slush or machines, this is probably not the place for you. I enjoyed a dirty martini, as did my youngest daughter. My oldest daughter enjoyed a French 75. All lovely and all perfectly mixed. I would return here if nothing more than the cocktails! For starters, my daughter shared the Pate De Campagne, which consisted of country style pâté, cornichons and toast points. They loved it! My wife enjoyed the Salad Verte and I loved the Roquefort Salad. Both salads were simply marvelous and went well with the freshly baked bread. On to the main event! Fo her entree, my youngest daughter had the Roasted Cornish Hen. She had never had Cornish hen before, but this particular rendition made her a fan of the dish. Perfectly cooked, juicy and savory. My older daughter enjoyed the Salmon en Croute. The salmon was perfectly cooked to the correct temp and the pastry was spot on. A lovely dish and one I will try on our next visit. My wife and I each devoured the Chicken Paillard. This is one of those dishes that is so simple, but the lemon butter knocks your socks off. If it wasn't such a lovely restaurant, I might have licked my plate. Yes....it was that good. I ate every last caper! For dessert, we shared a portion of the luxurious pistachio cheesecake. An excellent ending to an amazing meal. This charming restaurant is a jewel in the heart of Herndon. I highly recommend it for your next special occasion. We look forward to returning soon!
