Blueberry Yogurt Cake

Was super excited to see Paris Baguette finally open. On my first visit around 6pm on a weekday, the place was packed and most of the items were already sold out, but that was expected. Came back a second time in the morning around 11am to pick up a cake for my sister, and everything was fully stocked. From the strawberry dipped croissants to the mochi donuts and cakes, everything looked amazing. The shop is small and always busy, so it can feel a bit crowded. Prices are definitely on the higher side, but the quality makes up for it. Shoutout to Omar who noticed me eyeing cakes and kindly offered help. He was super sweet, and the cake turned out perfect (not too sweet, just really good).

I tried this place for the first time today (Sun 4/12/26) in the afternoon. Placed an online order today for a drink and 3 items and got there to pick up the order and it had not even been started. The place was not busy and staff were chatting with each other. It wasn't until I asked for my order that they started working on it. I fixed my coffee and then looked in the box they gave me and realized that a food item was missing so I had to return to the counter and ask for that. The croquette was good but it definitely crumbles and falls apart. Not sure if maybe it was overcooked or it's like that. The pepperoni pizzetta was a little too greasy for me so I'll try a different one in the future. The donut was creative and good. They have a lot of beautiful pastries and cakes to choose from. The food that I tried was decent but customer service needs a little work.

I decided to check out their new location in Sterling. The food was good, as expected, but the real issue was the delay in getting drinks. They don't seem to have a clear process or rhythm for making and serving them in order, which caused a lot of confusion and unnecessary waiting. Hopefully they get that sorted out soon.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!…read more I posted a review several months ago about Ridgetop CoffeeTop consistently running out of coffee and giving customers a 16-ounce cup when they actually paid for a 20-ounce cup. As a result of that review, I spoke with Christina, who manages the shop. She was genuinely sincere, apologized for the issues, and assured me that things were going to change. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. On Friday, July 10, at approximately 9:30 a.m., I visited the shop again. I was the fifth person in line, looking at my phone, when I heard the first customer being told they had no coffee. He immediately walked out. The next two customers ordered iced tea. The fourth customer, who was directly in front of me, ordered two cups of coffee. I clearly heard the employee tell him there was no coffee available and that he would have to wait 5 to 10 minutes. Although he was obviously frustrated, he agreed to wait and took a seat. When it was my turn, I asked the cashier if I had heard correctly that there was currently no coffee. She confirmed they were about to brew a fresh pot. I pointed out that five customers had already been in line and that this was a coffee shop with no coffee available. After already turning away one customer and asking another to wait, only then were they starting a new pot? The cashier responded with an attitude, saying, "You'll just have to wait 5 to 10 minutes." This is exactly what I discussed with Christina months ago. I simply do not understand how a coffee shop can repeatedly run out of coffee. At a minimum, there should always be another pot brewing or ready so customers are not left waiting 5 to 10 minutes after placing an order. That is poor planning and poor customer service. It is clear that nothing has changed since my conversation with Christina. I asked if either Christina or Dan, the other manager, was available, and I was told there were no managers on duty. At that point, I walked out. I cannot recommend spending your time or money at a coffee shop that repeatedly fails to have coffee available. It would be like going to a grocery store with no groceries. If a business specializes in coffee, customers should reasonably expect coffee to be available.

It's brewed in big kettles that they will just pour over after you order. There are so many other coffee types I have to come back for. The honeycomb dessert is a must try. There's cheese inside and honey drizzle on top. It's really a new taste for me and I loved it. The staff was very friendly. They are not all from Yemen though. I don't know why I assumed so lol There's plenty of parking space. The set up is also very nice for friends to hangout and talk. You can also go upstairs to work with a bit more peace. It's a good cafe I'd come back for!

And the aroma of his specific coffee smelled like lavender, saffron and I think vanilla. And the coffee is decadent! This time, he got something a friend of his recommended - the pistachio coffee. I can't have caffeine after noon. And I also have to watch my caffeine intake due to chronic heart problems. I got the hot cocoa. It was meh, honestly. They don't have any decaf tea. Disappointing. I also don't normally go to coffee shops anyway. So I can't fault this place for not having what I would drink. I am not their customer or audience or clientele. Anyway, my other son got iced peach tea. I tried a sip and it was like eating a fresh Georgia peach! So good! The pistachio coffee was amazing! I had 2 baby sips of it. It was epic. I love the nice lamps and the upstairs and downstairs. The place is clean and modern and the customers all looked cool, too. If I drank coffee, I would be here regularly.

They were polite and patiently waited for me to figure out what I wanted. The shop itself is very cute and organized. They carry a lot of cute plushies that include boba drink plushies and panda plushies. I ordered the mango green tea without any toppings and customized with 50% sweetness and less ice. With changing the sweetness level of boba, it's always a gamble on how it's going to affect the overall drink (most of the time, regular sweetness level is too much for me). The drink was okay, I wish there was more mango flavor in it though. I think maybe 75% sweetness would fix it, but I'm really not sure. Overall, I think it's an okay boba tea shop. If I'm at Dulles Town Center again, maybe I'll stop by and try a milk tea instead.

It can get busy, I went inside on a Saturday and there was nobody there, but then right when I ordered, there was a large influx of people who arrived inside. There were only 2 staff members working, so they were super busy. I just ordered a bubble waffle since that was what I was craving, but usually people will get the waffle with ice cream (there's plenty of flavor options with toppings). I'll come back to try other things, but stop by here if you love desserts and pandas!
