The classes here are very detailed and super informative. Don't ever buy a gift card here. I've been here over the years and easily spent over $1000 just in air fresheners for my wife. I've never had a problem, and would gladly recommend anyone here. I had a gift card with a large balance given to me for Christmas a few years back to this place. Since there was no expiration date, I sat on it. About a week ago I went in to use it. To my surprise, I was told they no longer use these gift cards. They had no way to access the card information. They refused to honor it, or give me any other option but to leave. Now I'm not sure what I'm going to do, but I won't throw it away. Currently looking into what I can do to get the money my family spent back by other means. Enjoy the free money guys, my family appreciates it.

Highly Recommend these guys! Went in because I had swirls on my custom metallic paint job, (forgot dudes name) but he was super knowledgeable and hella helpful. He recommended the same products he used on his car with a very similar paint. Left there dropping less than $150 on two bottles of wax, a couple packs of foam applicators and towels (All Chemical Bros brand) came home and followed his directions...my car never looked better!!! Mind you, had one guy somewhere else suggest I do a complete paint job, another guy quoted me damn near a G to wax with a machine. Love this place and will be back.

First off, great customer service. Right when I walked in they welcomed me and asked if i had been following them on ig. I've never used chemical guys before. I've seen the reviews and ig pictures of their product. Made me want give them a try. I had plenty of questions regarding certain products. Since I run a candy white GTI I want to keep the paint looking as fresh as possible. So I asked what I could do to keep it. I just bought a 2005 Honda CRV. I wanted to really clean sit up, myself. They have so many products, and Conner was right there to help. He basically gave me a tutorial on diy detailing. He wasn't pushy and asked the appropriate questions and gave me options. I've been so happy with the results. I've enjoyed detailing my car during these COVID (stay home ) days. Thank you Conner, for making my shopping visit outstanding. I'm now organizing my garage to set up a detail station. Detailing never ends. It's the best hobby . This place is AWESOME! The amount of products they have for your vehicle is endless and to top that off they have fantastic customer service! I am an amateur detailer and came in with many questions about a variety of products, one of the employees Chris, was able to answer ALL of my questions and was very patient with me. He even demonstrated the uses of some items I didn't even buy. This place is a must if you are any sort of interested in detailing your car. I visited Detail Garage for the first time and was very impressed with the knowledge and helpfulness of the employees. They answered all my questions about ceramic coating and gave me a step by step process on what would work the best. I followed all the instructions and my truck looks great! I had called ahead of time to ask them if they had any products that would help me get some very hard adhesive glue off my car. When I spoke with representative Chris, he told he had no problem with me coming down there and trying out the "butter-wet wax" on the affected area of my vehicle. When I got there, Chris was quick to helping me and immediately started working the wax in and BAM! the affected area was crystal clear, and I mean "Crystal". I was concerned the paint would be damaged from the adhesive that was just baked onto the trunk but Chemical Guys products are literally from another world. Needless to say I was thoroughly impressed. If anyone goes, make sure you ask for Chris, he is very knowledgeable. Thank you guys! read more

That kind of customer service matters and it definitely saved the experience from being a total letdown. That said, the vibe was... strange. I pulled up and genuinely thought the place was closed. It was completely empty, no cars, no staff visible, nothing. It felt like a zombie zone. I sat there confused for a minute until someone randomly appeared and waved me in. Even when I went to pay afterward, there was nobody around again, which added to the whole uneasy, deserted feeling. What was extra surprising is that it was a Tuesday special, so I expected at least some traffic. Seeing it that dead was honestly concerning, especially given how highly rated this place is on Yelp. As for the wash itself, I paid about $50 for a wash with wax and I don't think I'd do that again. I actually watched them wash the car and didn't see anything particularly special that justified the price. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't impressive. I also tried the massage chairs out front while waiting, which cost $5 for 15 minutes, and I definitely wouldn't recommend that. Totally not worth it, especially sitting there alone in an empty lot. Overall, the staff was kind and helpful, and that's the main reason this isn't a lower rating, but the odd atmosphere, pricing, and mismatch between expectations and reality mean I probably won't be back.

When I had an older car it was quick and easy to run it through a drive through car wash but those can scratch and mess up your paint. With a brand new car, I am definitely treating it a plenty more delicately. I almost went to EZ Clean Car Wash in Upland, but my dad told me it would be better to go to Good Tyme Car Wash for more bays, wider bays, less wait, and better pricing. Since my dad washes his car and my mom's car almost every weekend, he is definitely the subject matter expert in the area, so I took his advise and went to Good Tyme Car Wash. Pricing is $2.50 for 4 minutes or $5 for 12 minutes. They accept bills, coins or CREDIT CARD. Yay! I am team credit card. If you use your card you are committing to a minimum of $5 and an additional $1 for 1 min 40 sec added after the original time. I probably spent 15 minutes in the bay area since it was my first visit in a long time and I was still getting accommodated to the equipment. With each visit I am confident that I will work more efficiently. I just went with the recommended order: Tire Cleaner, PreSoak, Soap, Foaming Brush, Rinse, Triple Foam, RainX Surface Protectant, Clear Coat Protectant and then Spot Free Rinse. Some bays had the equipment labeled but mine did not so I had to observe which equipment went off when I moved the dial to the selected function. It definitely used up a lot of my time figuring out the equipment. Drying and vacuuming is not allowed in the washing bays and it is in another area in the back to prevent folks from spending too much time in the bays. I brought my own drying equipment and was easily to quickly dry up my car. A romantic outing with a rainbow for me and my baby on its' first spa day! I can definitely see myself frequenting this place for their equipment and decent pricing. It was really good bonding time for my car and I. Highly recommended if you don't trust drive through car wash or a third party for washing your car. I must warn you though... it was quite the upper body work out!

My daughter had spilled her melted ice cream in the back seat, I had been using my passenger side seat as a table for late night drive-thru dinners after work and taking night classes. My car looked like a wreck. Seriously, I was disgusted to have anyone get a ride from me due to how bad it looked. I took it to a car wash by work to have my car "detailed". This car wash place assured me that all the stains (grease and ice cream) would be taken out and my car would be "like new". They only charged me $100, which I thought was a great deal. Turns out, they didn't do anything more than vacuum, shampoo, and add air fresher; those stains lived on. This brings me to Mountain View. I called ahead and the nice young woman on the phone assured me the stains would come out, as she expressed confidence in her crew. I paid twice as much as the other car wash place, but guess what? The stains are GONE! Also, my car, quite literally, looks like new (again)! I was ecstatic to see my car looking so nice again! My only complaint is that they don't have those plastic liners to put over your seats after a detail. This means I had to drive home and get my clothes all wet from the detail job. If they can fix this (and, as a fellow Yelper suggested, offer an air freshener), this place would definitely be five stars.

I called Valley Truck Specialties and spoke with Roy. We talked about what my typical use for my F-150 Lightning (5'7" bed) would see on an infrequent basis - nothing heavy duty, just full sheets of plywood, 2x4s, some pea gravel, etc. Roy didn't have a single negative thing to say about other comparable spray-in bed liners. His point was to simply educate me on what I would consider to be the best suit for MY needs in protecting my truck bed. Valley Truck had my business at that point. On my appointment day, I met with Troy and I asked him regarding the specifics on what the Bullet Liner coverage would look like and what was involved with regards to the removal of non-coated items in the truck bed. Troy went over all the details with me as he called out areas in my truck bed that would see coverage, what would be pulled/masked off that should not be sprayed, and even the reasons for why certain things would be elected to be kept bare, such as the bed bolts. Now, I've spoken with others and have had the personal experience of seeing a multitude of different truck bed lining treatments - all I can say is, Troy is representative of a professional with an attention to detail skill set and someone who takes pride in their craft. That attention to detail showed and the result was an ultra-clean and well-laid out coverage throughout the F-150's bed. Best of all, it's not super-abrasive, but definitely has a gripping surface with a hardness that can obviously take a beating. I'm really pleased with the result. If you're looking to save some skin on those knees when kneeling down in your truck bed and you're looking for a very competitively priced spray-in bedliner that is hard as nails, this is the way to go! The prices are reasonable and not expensive. What I do want to point out is that everything actually works. Nothing was broken, falling apart, or looking neglected. The equipment was in good condition, and everything worked exactly as it should. That may not sound like a big deal, but if you've been to enough car washes, you know that's not always the case. So, if you're in the area and need to wash your car or just hose off the dust after a long trip, this is a good spot to stop by and check out. Sorry, it didn't really occur to me to take any pictures while I was there.

I was looking for some high quality car detailing equipment and products and I stumbled upon Chemical Guys. After reading their reviews and watching their youtube videos I decided they were the company I wanted to go with. Then I looked for a location where near me where they sell their products and I found this Montclair location. I went their immediately and let's just say I was not dissapointed!!! This place is awesome and the person who helped me was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and even showed me how to do some things I had questions about. I was sold right there but I still needed to try the products. Later that afternoon I went home and I couldn't wait to wash, clay, and wax my car, so I did. AMAZING!!!!!! The best products I have ever used by far!!!! The soap, Mr. Pink, is the best soap I have ever used and smells amazing. I then moved on to the claying portion of the car and using the OG clay bar and clay luber, I left my cars paint feeling like glass. Again, Amazed!!!! The final 2 steps, waxing and quick detailing I will do tonight as I ran out of time. All in all, I highly recommend this shop and their products. I've been going to detail garage for about 2 years buying chemical guy products. When you learn about detailing and the different chemicals, you understand how to take better care of a vehicle, and making it look much better compared to using other cheaper products. I took the 2 day polishing class which taught me a lot about detailing. I know how to detail a vehicle correctly with the right products depending on how bad the vehicle paint is. I recommend buying their products and taking the polishing class, you will get hands on training which is worth it. They're a 10/10. read more

I recently came into the detail garage a couple days ago to get some products and immediately was greeted by Connor. He gave me a tour of the store and helped me find the products I needed. I just tried out the products today and I'm very excited to go back and get some more! The Detail Garage Montclair is my favorite detail shop. There people there are extremely helpful and answer e question I have ever had and help you be the best out of your money and give real working advice and the product that they sale they will tell you the what will and won't work and provide a solution if the product dose not work for that application.
