Last time the staff gave me a handful of vouchers to make up for having to wait a long time for my car to be ready. Today I used my last voucher, which is good for the seven dollar basic car wash. Late last month went for the 1st time to Metro for an oil change. Initially all was well and I was pleased with the service. However, after service I hear a clicking noise under the engine when on the freeway and a rubbing sound when going over a bump on the driveway. So I made an appointment at the dealership on the site to check it out. When a rep finally checked me in he said to come in front of the car to check it out. He noted that the splash pan under the car had come loose and was bent loose. He said it was best to go back to the express service on their premises since they did the oil change otherwise it would cost me if the dealer needed to replace. Going to express they checked it out and said everything is ok. I asked what they did he said they had to unfold the cover and attach it with some ties. I asked will this be sufficient and shouldn't it be replaced. He noted that wasn't necessary but couldn't confirm it would be "like new". Now if I have to replace its going to cost some $300 + labor. This is the first and last time I'm using Metro's express service or dealer service. read more

I'm a paying member and went there at 2:55 PM, but they had already closed the gate even though their online hours clearly say they close at 3:00 PM. This isn't the first time -- every time I go, I have to wait for someone to come scan my membership because it's not automatic. Sometimes no one is even there, and I end up waiting for a long time. Bought a Groupon for a semi synthetic oil change. Checked their website, which said open until 6pm. Came at 5:20pm on a Friday, leaving work early to do so. Manager Adrian said that Groupon could only be used when Manager Jose present, which is Thursdays until 4pm. Did not care that my work hours would not allow me to come then. Started another customer's oil change right in front of me and said they wouldn't do mine that day even though I could not return at the time indicated, stating that they had to close (this was at 5:28pm). The limitations Adrian stated were NOT part of the fine print on Groupon, nor are they indicated on the company's website. Great thought to do a express oil change but they will try to ask you about services they cannot even do. They did a brake flush terrible needed to go and have it checked. Just skip them hot mess. Been twice now, both times were bad. I thought I'd give then another chance. Paid for the gold wash-there was no soap! Only water. Not only did the vacuums have NO suction, but the top part broke off and crap went flying into my car. Nobody was around to assist. They try to upsell you on services that are not needed. My vehicle tells me exactly when I need any liquids to be replaced. Manager try to sell me on a coolant flush when my car didn't need one and tried to scare me. I went home and checked my coolant levels myself and they were normal. The mechanics just came out or going to mechanic school . I did a brake fluid flush and ended up with a leak because the broke a hose and took it else where to get it fixed. Took my moms car a few months prior to that for a transmission fluid flush and the forgot to put the plug back on do it leaked over night. The guy that's always in the front desk is on is his phone and I'm a hurry the whole time he's explaining the price and the service. DRIVE THRU CAR CASH. My review is only for the car wash. I've been coming here for almost 10 years now. I love the $11.00 platinum option for my car. Leaves my car nice and clean. It does the job. The guys there get the brush to clean my tires and most of the time they're attentive to it. (Please note: you can tip them, it's up to you.) Once inside the drive thru it's about a 2-3 minute wait. Once you're out (make a right and a right again) to use their free vacuum's (or if you just need a vacuum, you can drive to the side of their building for it. It's free). I know now from coming here so much to bring a set of towels to wipe the car dry. Sometimes I have to also push out my passenger mirror out because the pressure of the wash pushes it in(no big deal). The reason I give it 4 stars is because I still have to get out and wipe it down (not a lot just a little bit) since the drying portion doesn't do it all the way. Regardless, I still come back. Found this place through Groupon I bought one synthetic oil change. When I got there, I let them know. I wanted the synthetic oil change. They took my car in. when it was done, I told him I had a Groupon. They said oh you need to let us know ahead of time. We did the wrong oil change and I told him I bought a synthetic oil change on Groupon. What are you talking about? They told me we did the Mobile one synthetic oil change which is apparently an upgrade to the Groupon synthetic oil change, that they don't tell you you're getting before you purchase your oil change, so there's clearly some bait and switch going on. So be aware when you see them on Groupon that they're selling you something but it's something completely different than what they're really advertising the service they give you for Groupon is cheaper than the service you would get even while asking for the same thing. read more

I went to metro express a couple days ago in hope to get an oil change and I was approached by a worker named Ruben. At first it was normal, just told him I needed a oil change and he looked around for about 2 seconds and insisted that I'd get a brake and transmission fluid flushed when I nor wanted it or needed it. He was being kinda pushy and I started to feel uncomfortable. Then he got upset and said whatever than. He just went back inside and sat in a chair. Unprofessional. Car wash takes a little more time to get in, but the membership price is far cheaper than any other car wash. My car always looks great and they still use the lambs cloth instead of the stupid silicone things that scratch your car. We like to use Groupons to try new businesses, and when we have a good experience we usually continue to return and pay full price. This was how we found our smog place, and have become loyal patrons for many wonderful businesses. Unfortunately, we did not feel welcome at Metro Extreme. The staff here complained about how they lose money doing Groupon, and lectured on how Groupon "attracts a certain type of customers." We listened politely, but this is why we decided never to return again. After over 15 years servicing all my vehicles at Metro Extreme Car Care, I have decided to discontinue my patronage. In my humble opinion, their service has eroded significantly and they did not make me feel as valued customer. I question their competence. I asked of an engine oil change, transmission fluid change and rotation of tire. Service was done quick.... unfortunately, they decided only to complete oil change. When asked about tire rotation... Service lead said, I checked and front tires wear looks fine. My last tire rotation was close to 15K miles. The kicker, they did the rotation! When asked about the transmission fluid change, they said they can not performance this service on this car. They reference the fact that is had the electronic gear change (buttons) versus the manual gear shifter. Another kicker!! I have an exact twin of the car where they actually preformed the service less than two month ago. There was drama with that service too... they replaced after only 20K miles driven from the last transmission fluid change. I called to inquire why they recommended and got some excuse (need to retrain staff). All the above statement is my opinion... The $20 unlimited car was pass is a great deal but the Sunday employee is so rude and lazy. For starters, don't bother saying hello or good morning, he won't even acknowledge you and ignores you, very rude! Every time I see this particular employee (talks/skinny guy) he just scans my phone and doesn't say a word. This morning I had to ask twice to get him to turn on the vacuum because he was too busy on his phone and reading a magazine to do his job. Then to top it off as I was leaving I couldn't even exit because he didn't bother to OPEN THE GATE! I had to turn around and go to the other side of the dealership to leave. BEWARE! Actually they earned a minus 1. If I had read the reviews, I would have gone somewhere else. This problem has been going on for years and nothing has been done to correct it. I paid $169 for a oil and filter change (2015 Mercedes). After I got home I noticed a oil leak and I thought it might be overspill, so I waited a while to see if it stopped. It did not. I took it back to Metro to have them check and the manager lied and told me that the technician said there was no wet oil anywhere under the car. After listening to a bunch of excuses, I took it home and waited another week or so to see if it stopped. It didn't. I decided to get a second opinion and took it to Pepboys. I paid $35 for a report to tell me that it was leaking from the oil plug, there was no gasket and it was missing some fastners for the skid plate. I returned to Metro and they corrected the problem. When I picked the car up, the manager didn't want to face me, he was hiding. I asked the technician what the manager's name was and all he could tell me was his name is Jose, but he didn't know his last name! Drive your car onto the track, put it in Neutral, and enjoy the view. I love washing the rainbow soap splashing onto my windshield. My favorite thing about this car wash place compared to many others is the drying process. The timers put your car through a steady pace so that it is evenly and thoroughly dried. After you washed your car, you can even take it to the complimentary vacuum area. Vacuum for as long as you want!! No timer :) Sometimes I wonder if people drive here to vacuum their car without buying a car wash... It gets better!! BUY 10 GET ONE FREE!! Yay :) They have a stamp card. My parents and I share a stamp card so we can redeem our "free" one quicker. I mostly come here for the drive through car wash services, but I have also gone to Metro Extreme Car Care for other services as well. On one occasion, Metro Honda was really busy and they called down here and said that my quick oil change could be done here more quickly. I have platinum membership via Everwash. - The package mentioned HAND WAX but no hand wax. I was told that it is done via machine (automated). I did not see any difference in the end result on my car and I feel there was no wax done/applied on my car. Wrong advertisement. - TIRE SHINE: No tire shine at all. Tire and rims were just cleaned good but no shine. I mentioned this to the attendant after the wash was done and he said he will ask someone to look into it to get it fixed. Really, you are open for business (I was there at 7 AM) with broken system. That clearly tells how committed they are to provide good service to customer. In short, this is just any other automated car wash that you can get in $10 basic wash. Upgrading package would not do anything more on the car at this business. And this last time they left a rag where the hood latch is, so I couldn't open the hood. Had to pull out the rag out so the latch would release. He told me to contact Groupon for a refund and to never use Groupon again. Given the demise of my relationship with the service dept. at Metro Nissan, I came here to their little brother (same owners) because it's close to home, and I had 101 things to accomplish that day. Overall, for just an oil change, it was a good experience. They were not very busy, they didn't upsell me, the lounge is nice with free wi-fi, I got a free car wash, and was out of there within 30 minutes. So, as long as this little bro continues to treat me right (cue up the Pat Benetar), I am willing to be in an exclusive relationship. P.S. Strange that there are two business listings for this place. Recently tried the Silver basic wash. My vehicle wasn't really dirty, but after going through the wash, there were some spots that just got missed in about 12 areas. Poor quality. Seemed the soap and pressure is low. I asked twice to have a second wash and was advised to get Platinum next time for $12. It's the same amount of wash time though ? After some back and forth, they agreed to a repeat comp wash. Upgraded to Platinum, even though it's not what I wanted. After the 2nd wash, there was no difference and spotted areas still persisted. I won't go back. Something with the quality has changed and I'm not satisfied. Many choices for quick quak type washes around doing better quality. I'm not a complainer but will speak my mind when something is not right. read more

I am updated my previous review to 4 stars. About 4 days after taking my car to get serviced, I noticed oil in my driveway. I checked it out and sure enough there was oil leaking from my car. After my horrible experience, I was livid to know that I now had to take my car BACK because someone made a mistake. On our way there, my fiancé called to let them know the situation and let them know we were on our way. Jose took the call and apologized to my fiancé for the inconvenience. When we arrived to get my car re-serviced, Steve helped us out. Steve was AMAZING!! I cannot rave about him enough. He was completely understanding to my frustration and he was sincerely apologetic. He took my car in right away and got to work. I wasn't looking at the clock, but I don't think we were there for more than what felt like 10 minutes. Steve came out and apologized once again for the inconvenience of us having to drive out a second time. I wish I could say this experience could erase the one from before but unfortunately it can't. Will I be back again? Maybe, but I would be weary. Steve was superb and I would definitely go back if I knew he was working. But unfortunately with anyone else, the trust was lost. But I am very thankful that Jose and Steve were accommodating and didn't give us any hassle. They were definitely trying to right the wrong and provided outstanding service.
