Pad that with undercooked and absolutely no seasoning on it chicken.

Ordered delivery. It's... ok? I guess. It's not bad but apparently "no spice" means "no flavor". Might be the most bland Thai food I've ever had. The chicken is LITERALLY plain. Not a touch of any seasoning, not even salt or pepper (will include picture). Also the crab rangoons are soggy for some reason, I'm assuming old and reheated. I changed my review from 3 to 2 stars while writing this

    Drunken noodle
    Irene C.

Came here on a Saturday for dine in and ordered drunken noodle medium spice and green curry with beef in mild spice. The drunken noodle was decent but lacked the depth of flavor a more authentic Thai place would offer in a places like NYC or SoCal. I still give it some props for effort since we are in Michigan and it's probably good enough for the area. The green curry was a bit of a disappointment however because the beef was hard like a rock. It was very stiff as if it was old or over cooked. The curry flavor was a bit weak. The white rice was cooked perfectly. I don't like leaving food behind and usually always take leftovers to go but I left a quarter of the dish behind which breaks my heart as I grew up learning never to waste food. The Tom yum soup needed a little more vinegar and again lacked a depth of flavor. The fried spring rolls were ok. Food portions were very generous but this place isn't cheap eats by any means. The thai iced tea was not as sweet as they didn't use condensed milk. Instead they used half and half creamer (I saw them make it). It still tasted good and I drank it all but again speaks to the authenticity level. This place is usually popular for take out as you can see most of the pictures on Yelp are takeout containers. And I saw many customers come pick up take out during out 1 hour there. The service was prompt and courteous. Staffed by 2 high school aged Caucasian boys upfront with Asian cooks in the back. They were attentive and polite so 5 stars for the service. Unfortunately gonna have to give 3 stars for the overcooked beef and authenticity level which was palpable in the flavors. Would I come back? Probably because lack of Thai choices here in Michigan. The other place I loved closed down during Covid.

A good thai option! We got carry out dinner here, Pad Thai with Shrimp and Pad Von See with chicken. The Pad Thai was good, not overloaded with veggies but I do with there was a few more. The hot and sour soup wasn't very good and a bit small. The Von See had a lot of chicken and was really good! The service was pretty quick and the interior was small and cozy- looks like a nice little place to eat in. Overall, there's some good options here!

Very good! I had the fresh rolls, spring rolls and chicken pad Thai. It was all very delicious and cooked perfectly.... I can't wait to go back.

Amazing! Staff was very nice and attentive. Food was fantastic, not too salty. Came out super quick. Portions are big and I am excited for my leftovers! Restaurant itself is pretty small. There's outdoor seating. Can't wait to order again.

I love SHINthai. I would say it's become my favorite Thai place in the area (but I haven't tried them all ...yet)! When dining in, I thought the restaurant was clean and we didn't have trouble seating a fairly large party inside. I have ordered takeout for dinner from SHINthai more often than I have dined in, though - especially lately with the Stay at Home order. They do a great job of getting takeout orders ready quickly and package them well so they're still hot and fresh when you get home! I love the pad thai, of course, but another of my favorites is the peanut curry. The peanut flavor is delicious, and I always think the vegetables in the dish are fresh and cooked well. Spice levels can be inconsistent, though - if you're someone who really wants that spiciness, it can be hit or miss. For example, last time we ordered, my Medium-spice peanut curry had no discernible spice, but the Medium-spice pad thai we ordered at the same time had a really good kick. The flavor of the peanut curry was still excellent, but I did miss the spiciness. Overall, though, definitely recommend SHINthai!

I liked the question "what Spicy level do you want ... (mild/medium/spicy)" for each dish. Decent sized portions and tasty food. The many and varied Pad Thai plates beckoned and we tried the omlette Pad Thai which was delicious and piping hot. Chicken Tom Yum soup and shrimp fried rice also were pleasurable. The atmosphere is really casual - the layout is more of a cafe than a formal dining room. I would definitely return and with friends.

Get Moo Ping, six pieces, order more, because those six pieces will be gone in few seconds! The papaya salad was refreshing and perfect hint of spice. The pad thai was the best pad thai I had, definitely would recommend it. It was nice to finish the meal with the mango rice. The fried fish and chicken and rice was okay, but wouldn't order them again. I'll have to try their curry dishes, those looked popular as a lot of the tables were ordering them.

Far East Chinese & Thai Food is FAR OUT and double good!…read more My office ordered lunch here for me and my boss' birthday today, and not only was the restaurant easy to communicate with regarding the large order, but the food was super dope as well. I ordered the Pad See Yu, and it was stupid good. The sauce had a hint of sweetness to it, and a healthy portion of beef, shrimp, chicken and pork. I didn't feel "cheated out" on anything like many other restaurants leave you feeling on combo dishes like this (see the photo). The dumplings come in 6, and we ordered both the steamed and pan fried. I failed to procure a photo of them, but these are the old school pot stickers - thicker dough and well made. Depending upon your mood, I could suggest either the steamed or the fried, but steamed is probably my fav. The egg rolls were crunchy and were not overly oiled, which means this restaurant cares enough to change their fry oil, ensuring that the guest has a better meal, rather than trying to stretch every last drop of an oil batch. I don't remember what everyone else got, but there were no complaints from the varied dishes I DO remember - Beef & Broccoli, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, Kung Pau and more. I'll most certainly be coming to this establishment again in the near future, and couldn't recommend to you more ordering here yourself.
