The Smoked Salmon Benedict was very very smoky flavored and I even ordered the salmon separate by from the actual benedict part of the dish as a precaution, but the smoke flavor overtook the entire dish. For $19, it had no hash browns included, and I wasn't paying $6 more for fried potato strings. My daughter had the grilled cheese with tomato soup and both were absolutely phenomenal! The pumpkin bread French toast was just pumpkin bread with whipped cream and caramel drizzle, not real French toast with pumpkin spun into it. Not impressive. Overall, the staff was very nice and the dining areas super cute, but the prices and wait time and lack of management correction make this a place I likely won't be trying again anytime soon.

Like many restaurants we have been to, they seemed short staffed so we were very patient. My husband loved the barbacoa taco and his menudo was excellent. My son and I enjoyed the huevos rancheros. The potatoes are French fries so I was happy when they made my salad a little larger. I thought salad was a great touch. Colorado ranchero sauce is thinner with probably New Mexico red chilies. Terrible place. No masks, no gloves (only tissue paper), and the staff is CRAP. They have no manners. Flies on donuts. Always messing up Doordashes (so don't order through there). If you are not a part of the family, you are not treated as an equal. And don't bother asking them questions about how to do things on the job. They will just treat you like an idiot. Total d-bags. And the manager, Vonona, is a terrible manager. She never wears a mask. I have seen one person in that whole place wear a mask (the nice cashier girl). She won't even talk to customers if they request to see a manager. Rude and disrespectful to the people spending money on your donuts so you can have a business in the first place. Proper customer care is not a priority to most of the staff and it shows. I hope you use this to better yourselves and business. What customers think actually does matter. Also if you are a liberal, don't make it known when you walk into this place. You will experience extreme discomfort. read more

Just stopped at Shipley Do-Nuts, and not ONE employee was wearing a mask. I asked "I thought there was a government mandate for wearing masks", in which I received the reply "There is". I asked "So this doesn't apply to your business?", and the employee just smirked at me and said "It does, have a nice day" and walked off. Their flagrant disregard for their customer's health is concerning. Evidently their owner/manager doesn't care if they lose customers over the employee's (or their own) cockiness. I'd find it hard to believe every employee wouldn't be wearing masks if it didn't reflect the manager's own practice. read more
