Gyro plate with salad on the side and okra I was a little confused because the photos show hummus and feta.. I did not get that so basically you just get gyro meat and thats conditioned a platter? The okra didn't have any salt. So it was flavorless but hot and a lot. The salad was not what was in the photos but it was good. I ordered a Gyro plate that comes with two sides. I only got one. Came down to get my tires fixed.. Got hungry was looking for some lunch. My husband suggested we get seafood and wanted me to try this place. I ordered a Number 1. Everything about it was delicious. The pita was grilled perfectly. The gyro was simple and flavorful.

We have eaten here 3 times in the past 2 weeks. I love gyro platter, which you can get with coleslaw or fries or a side of hummus or with a side salad. My friend always gets a cheeseburger which also comes with a choice of sides. He claims the cheeseburgers here are much better than Whataburger's. Breakfast is great here, the lady is a wonderful cook. I do suggest calling your order in, because it can be a little slow. And beignets and coffee here are Great, but, again, it can be a bit slow. This is by far my favorite place in Chickasaw to eat, right now. read more

Shipyard is great! I love how many options they have. I had the Philly cheesesteak with Buffalo wings and fried pickles. It was SO much food--and you could tell the fried pickles were fresh, and oh man there were so many in that box it was insane. Definitely not skimpy on the sides. The wings were plump and juicy and crispy on the outside. My Philly was meaty and cheesy just like it should be, and the veggies on the sandwich were seasoned properly which was a wonderful touch. I can't wait to try more options. read more

The best thing about the shrimp po-boy is big shrimp - no small gumbo shrimp here. But, the menu has a definite "frozen, fast food" feel. Not a lot of house-made items available. Counter service is okay (though when it's busy, they get a little confused on whose order is yours). Decent food at a good price, but nothing spectacular. read more

Well I finally broke down and tried this little spot. (Living in a hotel for work sucks). I had the fish Po-boy and fries. The fries were seasoned well and very fresh. The bread on the sandwich was very good and all of the toppings were definitely fresh. My fish sandwich sadly was more sandwich than fish. It was good, but sadly not good enough to get that fourth star. At least not with a small and thin piece of fish. I will definitely give them another shot in a month or so and update my review if needed. read more

The food was delicious and fresh! We ordered the grits as a side with our entree and it was some of the best grits I have ever ordered in a restaurant! The other members of our 4 person party orders fried fish and chicken wings and they were all prepared flawless and the price point was easy to digest. The hummus with jalapeño sauce was a unique and outstanding side order. I highly recommend them for casual dining. It is a clean establishment with modern accoutrements. The staff was super friendly and provided us complimentary smoothies which were a refreshing beverage addition to our meals. Honestly, I was just looking for something close to the hotel my family is staying at. However...my wife, kids and I, loved this place! Everything we ordered was fresh, hot and delicious. Everything we needed was included with our order, sauces, utensils etc. The delivery driver they sent over was super nice and even gave me a courtesy call when he arrived. We didn't expect much, as we just needed somewhere to stop for breakfast, but the reviews looked good. YUM! We got the bacon platters and a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. I really wanted to give 5 stars because the food is quite good, fresh and flavorful...but I must take a star away. Here's why. We placed a to go order for food for a scheduled lunch meeting. The order was placed well in advance. What we didn't expect was that the order wouldn't actually be placed/cooked until I showed up and paid. They prepared the order probably as quickly as they could during a lunchtime rush but I still also had to fill individual drink orders at the fountain and take the food and drinks out to my car. Not what we were expecting for a called in to go order. I don't see where calling in the order was any faster than coming in person. read more

Just had our monthly lunch out with friends. I had the Bacon BBQ Burger. Very good burger and tasty seasoned fries. Plenty to eat and drink. My pet peeve is the napkins. They need an upgrade. First time I've ever rated a restaurant online...Ordered delivery (and paid for the food) at 8:07pm and was told it would be 45 minutes...called at 9:11 to check on status and was told they had no driver but it should be about 10 minutes when they got back and they'd START cooking our food..I told them that was unacceptable and asked to speak to the manager...he informed me he was the manager and I asked about a discount...he stated he could only give a discount if the food was cold. Called back at 9:27 to inquire again...was informed he'd tried calling me to ask if I wanted my food or a refund...he never called...no missed calls.. refund... ordered Pizza Hut... will never eat there again! read more
