First of all, I know everybody affiliated with this Salon is excellent so I'm going to just tell you about the two typist I had today and again they are all absolutely amazing and so talented. Nicole did my coloring and she knew exactly what I needed done before I even explained in my consultation with her and she did exactly as she promised and I think she thinks even better ha ha! I came in with oxidized gold RG hair and walked out with the most delightful, neutral, beige, exactly what I wanted and it's still at the shiny gold highlights without having it highlighted, in the sun, and even in the dressing room, I noticed it under the lights so it still had that sprinkle of golden blonde as if I was at the beach, but it was beige and just nice and subdued, which is exactly what I wanted. I upgraded to the color choice that contained a whole lot of oils so that your hair will not dry. I'm so happy I did it and it's so worth it and the toner also was at the same company. I'm not sure if it's appropriate for me to post it but you could always call The salon and ask for the name of it if it's something you're interested in having done. Thomas and Ross are still there. I had so many years ago for 20 years! I'm telling you they are all amazing and you will never be disappointed! I was so happy to see Tom but Ross wasn't in today or at least not when I was there. Just wanted to say hello. I then had a haircut by Cameron and I gave him 100% weight to cut it anyway he wanted it as it was below my shoulder, dried out, frizzy, shedding, out of shape past five or six months due to an accident I had and therefore could not attend any Salon. I didn't want him to save any bad hair just to cut it all off! He found a way to keep a little bit of length down to the bottom of my neck, which was ideal for me and he layered gently any hair that was higher than neck length to take off all the damaged hair. I thought it would take three visits months apart and yet he did it all in one visit by just gently layering and of course, cutting off several inches of the bad hair, which I knew I needed done immediately today! Both stylist did an amazing job and both had the most beautiful personalities. And of course, there's the Manager, Vassilio, and I apologize and I will correct the spelling as soon as I see her again! I looked up the directory for over a half hour so I did try to get it correct! Anyway, she is lovely on the telephone and so helpful and just beautiful in person, inside out! The whole entire experience was such such a joy and I had an accident about a year ago and looked forward to this day all year long. It was one of my happiest days in a long time so thank you John Barrett Salon, and those I mentioned and the lovely people I met in passing and the people I knew from a few years back. It's a fairly long review, but I hope it could help some people make a decision and it shouldn't be difficult to know that a salon that was at Bergdorf Goodman all these years, has to be at top Salon! I was sooo desperate to have my roots fixed and hair trimmed before going on a trip, but going to a new salon as a blonde can be daunting. I booked very last minute and was able to get an appointment within a few days which was awesome. I felt comfortable in the salon with the extra precautions in place for COVID (Only 1 other client and stylist were present in the salon). Once there, Haim knew exactly what needed to be done to my hair. I ended up getting a full foil and trim, and it was a relatively quick experience compared to other salons. My hair felt so soft, fluffy and healthy after, and it stayed like that for a few days. Haim told me that he uses only top-shelf products and I could definitely tell. I am still so happy with the results! It's been about 1 month since I came to Lifestyle Salon and my roots are growing out in a way that is a lot less noticeable than some past experiences I've had with other blond colorists. As someone who has gone to numerous salons across the country- you can tell when someone has experience like Haim and really knows what they're doing. She took her time and washed all the shampoo and conditioner out my hair. I was blow dried, pressed and cut by Davide who's literally did God's work with my hair. My hair grows in a weird way, I have some longer pieces, I have some really short pieces but when I got out that chair I felt like the prettiest woman in the world.
