The closest Hansons for me was the Utica store on M-59. When I first walked in I was skeptical because the employees looked so young. I was quickly reminded you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. The young man that helped me (Jabber J.) was very patient and knowledgeable. He also had a good understanding of my issues and what I needed. I told him my price range and he didn't try to over sell. I took a pair of casual Rockports there today for a shine. I'm used to having to leave shoes for a bit (sometimes a week) in a case like this. Today, though, the man at Feet First did it in two minutes for $5. Fast and reasonable equals me as a happy customer.

Waited in line to enter store. The person who let us in said no cash payments. I brought cash to…read morebuy my kids shoes. I said I will just look then. I proceeded to look around. One customer was paying, in cash, at the register. I asked why he could use his cash and I could not. The employee said because he is at the register. I said so if I take my shoes to the "register". I can use my cash. She said no. I asked how my. Ash was different from his cash. The employee said they could not take cash payments as her manager does not allow it. I walked out and spent my $300 somewhere else. I will never return to a footlocker. Thank you for making this decision easy for me. I also should add that three other customers walked out when they were not allowed to spend their cash. Tried to call customer service. Waited for over 30 minutes. No answer! Can I say I am not surprised!
