I tried to time it correctly so the shoes would still be fresh for my race in September, but well broken in. After doing some research and being heavily influenced by social media, I landed on Hokas for my budget, the longevity, and their ubiquity. You will get paired with a salesperson upon arrival no matter what your intent is, so go in expecting that. I had heard good things about the fitting so I did that, got my cute little report, and tried on a bunch of different shoes. The salesperson was great about going and getting different sizes, etc - I just feel uncomfortable with that level of 1:1 attention/eyes on me when making a purchasing decision, so that was more of a con to me than a pro. No room to breathe and make a decision. They were also busy and I felt like an imposition somehow? Vibe was a bit off. ANYWAYS - it would have been more helpful if the salesperson had simply asked what I was looking for and allowed me to peruse before running in the back to get shoes - I could have saved myself some time and left a little less frustrated. They won't have all the colors available, and I knew I wanted plain black and white...which they didn't have in store. It was still good to try stuff on, but I was hoping to get the shoes that day. Luckily I was able to order directly from the Hoka website (free shipping!) and they came within three days. I feel really bad about not being able to make my purchase through the store, but I look forward to continuing to utilize Fleet Feet for all my other running needs as we get closer to race day! I am grateful for the huge number of races they put on each year through their sister company, Yellow Jacket, and appreciate the convenience of bib pickup here for other races I've run in the past.

He named a few stores in the city and I chose this one. When you arrive they discuss your needs and listen to any medical advice your doctor gave you. Next they take your size with the old-fashioned foot measurement tool, seldom scene these days. :) Then they take you to a machine and scan your feet and point out where your problems are and explain it. I told them I do a lot of walking for my photography. Then they'll bring out a few pairs to try on and walk around in. I found a pair of sneakers I liked and bought them. $129.60, a good investment. I have visited a couple of Athleta stores over the past few weeks. Tonight's visit was impromptu while I was trying to get some exercise by walking around in the mall. I noticed that they had a sale sign out, I'm always in to see what is on clearance or reduced rack. Just as the staff at my local store has proven to be, the staff was friendly and informative. I was able to try some pants on and get suggestions, and I even asked which color looked best and got a solid answer. The store associate that was their knew about all of the new items and also was willing to pull stuff from the back that was on clearance or close out to show me. I will continue to shop at this chain. I am extremely impressed.

I only gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because it is on the more expensive side. I think some of the clothes are a bit overpriced but again the quality is above average, so... I would only go here to buy something that I know I would get a lot of use out of to justify spending the money.

And if your size isn't among those open shirts, they still won't open other sizes for you. I found that rather bizarre for a clothing store. They also told me this is a Men's Wearhouse policy, which I don't believe is true because their other stores are OK with opening shirts for customers to try on, as one might expect.

I just started shopping at this store, mostly because my younger cousins are obsessed with their…read moreclothing line. But to my surprise they have a lot of different options for all ages. Their sweatshirts and hoodies are a personal favorite... super comfy and warm. Iv'e noticed they do have sales going on through out the month.. just have to hit it on time. I bought a pair of jeans as a gift and saw they were on sale the next week, the sales associate was great, allowed me to get the difference back.
