Refused to refund brand new, never worn shoes bought from them a few days before, stating that "all sales are final" (which was conveniently omitted when the actual purchase took place). If that's how that store does business, I'm better off away from them. They're far from being the only shoe store around. read more

My husband bought his boots approximately 1 week ago. With tax, spent $186.00 - they were on sale but not on clearance. He really liked them, said they were very comfortable, however, got up this morning, went to put on his boots, and the tongue was coming apart - he does not have a job that causes a lot of wear and tear - he's on his feet most of the day - but that's it! Took them into the shop today and they told him about their no refund no return policy and that he would have to mail them to the company and deal with them - and so on. Honestly, we could have bought a pair of shoes at Sears or almost anywhere and if this happened, they would take them back or refund them immediately. So inconvenient - now he has to do without his shoes while trying to deal with the manufacturer. Will never shop there again and will tell everyone we know. This place is a sham!! read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE! I bought a pair of work boots, I want a good brand so I spent more than $120. Tried them on and everything seemed fine. I wore them the next day to work and found out they had a defect in one of the boots that caused one of them to develop a bump in one causing me a painful day for me at work. Took them back. Explained I just wanted an exchange. They basically said sorry yoyr stuck with defective new boots that I can not wear. Buyer beware, they sell defective boots and its a gamble what your going to get because you'll be stuck with them. read more

So I had bought boots from here on several occasions and it so happens to be that Georgia Boots has a life time limited warranty, to make the long story short I brought the boots on Sunday to them to return to the vendor, here I am Friday and the boots are still here, the lady that helped said that they did not ship BECUASE it was missing the return label and wasn't received from the vendor, so I asked why hasn't anyone followed up? She started telling me how they might not exchange them ext etc, I then asked her how would you know if the boots are still here? so I stood there at the counter called for a return label and received it with in 3 minutes? So I am shipping the boots myself but before all this transpired she told me that they didn't pay for the shipping which in turn I told her I would pay, then one thing lead to other and she tells me, you didn't pay full price for the boots you got a discount, the boots cost me $227.88 and on top of that I bought another pair and paid 164.34 when I was here on Sunday, but she tells me, you didn't spend that much anyway? What the hell where is the customer service???? So I guess you only get great service when spending money here but if you have an issue, and don't spend enough to them you are treated with mediocre customer service.... thumbs down on the service here honestly.... read more

I'm not sure who everyone was talking about with their experience, but my experience there was exceptional!! My first stop was actually doughboy. A friend of mine told me to go there, but there was no one around when I walked in to ask me for assistance. Maybe because they were crowded. So I decided to waddle in next door to Shoe Kingdom. Wow was I surprise. The minute I walked in, I was greeted by a nice smile from Jason. He promptly asked me if this was my first experience there, how can he help me, etc. Such a nice gentleman!! I was there to purchase a boot for my husband and he was very educated about his boots. U can tell he luvs his job. Not to mention, another worker was there as well. His name is Tony. I would say these two guys Jason and Tony are two of the best customer service, professional, nice, perfect gentlemen I've ever met. If I were the owner, I would definitely give these 2 a big raise. Not only did I buy the boots, I went and bought a total of 4 pair of shoes because of how great they were. Totally Bad Service, Totally Suck Service and shoes. One of the worst return policy. Don`t trust the staff if they told you they give store credit or return or exchange. Make sure you have them write or make sure what is returnable. Because later they will tell you they cannot return, even though it says on receipt 15 day return policy. Because they don't write on receipt and anywhere on shop what is returnable. So be careful before you buy other wise you will get ripped like me. I had wrong order and when to exchange, they told me they cannot do it even though it says 15 days return/exchange policy. Totally uneducated staff and bad service. Does not know store policies. Nothing labeled at all. So make sure if you get bad luck, some day and end up stopping their BS ship. So confirm the return policy. As well make sure he them write down on the receipt that the item you are buying is returnable. Because they will try to Iss guide at first and give you wrong order and then they will tell you they cannot exchange or return. So you will end up wasting your hard earn money. read more
