He said Hansons will have a shoe that will aid both the issues. The closest Hansons for me was the Utica store on M-59. When I first walked in I was skeptical because the employees looked so young. I was quickly reminded you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. The young man that helped me (Jabber J.) was very patient and knowledgeable. He also had a good understanding of my issues and what I needed. I told him my price range and he didn't try to over sell. He knew the differences in the design of each shoe. I've got a new perspective on the young people today. I also have the most comfortable pair of shoes that surprisingly didn't break the bank. I highly recommend Hansons.

Service was friendly, helpful and attentive as always. The customer service is always the best here. I had 6 or more samples of shoes to try. They were even able to look up my shoe size and the last pair purchased from the Royal Oak location. I ended up with a dark navy and hot pink Brooks ghost cushion shoe. They feel like you are walking on a cloud. They gave me a frequent purchase cards, 3 of them gives you $25 off, 4 gives you $40.

After a handful of visits, I must say this store is well deserving of five stars. Why?…read more 1). I've been greeted upon arriving which is always a nice way to start a visit to a store. 2). I've never had a negative experience and if I've had questions, they are promptly answered. 3). The selection is very good with a nice variety of shoes to choose from whether for women, men or children. 4). The store has always been clean and organized. 5). I always shop with the Shoe Carnival coupons. Who doesn't like to save money on a nice pair of shoes, right? For our most recent visit, my son needed a new pair of athletic shoes. He wanted to go to the mall but I advised him to at least look here first. He found a nice pair of Nike's that were already at a good price and with the $10 Shoe Carnival coupon, it was a no brainer for me. But he was hesitant so we both went to the mall to look around and the prices were of course higher and I couldn't find a coupon to help him save his hard earned money. After realizing the prices were at a premium at the mall, he decided to come back and buy the original pair he saw here. Yep, coupons do make a difference and most of the time if I can save, I will buy from a store that offers a bit of savings.

So disappointed, took my daughter to this Shoe Carnival for a casual day of shoe shopping. She…read morelikes the store, (mostly because of the basket ball play area, I think), we have only visited the Macomb Mall store, not finding anything at the Marshall's right next door, we wanted to check it out. I was truly impressed when we walked in at how tidy and organized the store felt, the staff seemed friendly enough, as a young woman and young man each approached us within 5 minutes of entering the store, and the shoe selections were easy to find due to how organized the store was. THAT IS WHERE MY PRAISE OF THIS STORE AND ASSOCIATES ENDS! My daughter had selected 3 pairs of shoes, we placed them neatly on a bench, disposing of any excess trash to the garbage can nearby, and set our coats beside her shoe choices on a bench between the girls and boys shoes. I went around the corner to see if there was anything my son might be interested in since we were there anyways, and she tore off to the basket ball court. After looking for approx. 10 mins, we went to get our coats and shoe selection for checkout, and all the shoes we had selected were gone! When I asked the young woman she just said, "I put them away". Now I was obviously upset that over an hour of my life was for nothing, but infuriated at the nonchalant way she responded to my inquiry, which was only compounded by the lack of any kind of apology! There was no reason for her to put those shoes away. Our coats were there, so we obviously were too. Besides, due to the lack of business in the store, we were easily seen. The young man came along, probably hearing me tell may daughter how awful this store's customer service was, and that we were leaving, and asked what was wrong. Then in a very similar, nonchalant way, he never says anything to me, but instead walks away, seeking this other associate! I was so aggravated by this time, I just wanted out of that store! I have worked within industries focused on customer service for most of my adult, working years, and am currently the regional lead for Customer relations and CSP for H&R Block, Inc., so I have seen and heard all kinds of situations and circumstances regarding superb all the way through the most abysmal types of service. So if I may, Shoe Carnival, the associates working at your Hall Rd store around 3:30-4:30 Sunday, March 3, 2019, allow me to give some pointers: First rule of thumb, always say "Sorry" when a customer is noticeably upset, no matter the reason, it's not that customer's expect you to grovel, it just let's them know you are aware, even empathetic toward their dissatisfaction. Secondly, ask your disgruntled customer if there is anything that can or could have been done to appease them, and if possible do it, within reason of course. Thirdly, don't just assume that a customer is done with their shopping just because they've walked away from their "cart" to go to another aisle for a moment. If the "cart" along with it's contents have been sitting for an unreasonably long time or If you have seen them physically exit the building, by all means, put the cart away. Otherwise it's just rude, and as in this case, the company lost over $100 by this associate's dismissive attitude toward a customer's concerns! $100 may seem like a drop in the bucket, but when you consider if every store did this 5 times a day, that's $500 a day, or 3,500 a week or $14,000 a month, you see where I'm going with this, right? It's really bad for any business to allow associates to simply disregard customers in this way. Shoe Carnival wasted my time, in the end did not get to take my money just because of one or two employees that in my opinion should't remain as such!

She said how the shoes she got were like running on air and never felt more comfortable in a pair of running shoes. Visited Hansons on a Friday evening and was quickly greeted by a worker. I told him I needed some new running shoes. I took off my shoes and got on a machine that analyzes the pressure points you have in your feet. I was surprised to see that my pressure points were in my heels! I also got my feet measured to ensure my right size. I sat down and the worker got me started on 3 different shoes. All 3 fit perfectly and felt amazing but he told me to start walking around the store and comparing the shoes. The worker let me take my time and was not pushy. I asked to have a 4th pair to try out but quickly resorted to the pair I tried on first. I was happy with my decision and the shoes felt like a hug for my foot. I have never been so comfortable in a running shoe before! I got a pair of Brooks and the cost was $120.00. Sure, it is a bit much for a pair of shoes but my commitment to running and the support I needed was well worth the price. However, other shoe stores run similar prices but the customer service at Hansons is well above the rest. My first run with my new Hansons shoes could not even compare to my old shoes! I was able to run a lot faster with my new running shoes since I had the correct support in my heels and overall felt supported. My legs also did not hurt after running like my old shoes. Hansons has a lot of other great products besides shoes! Exercise clothing and other accessories. I would never go anywhere else when I need a new pair of running shoes!
