Great show as always. We had steak, chicken, shrimp and all of the usual fair(fried rice, noodles and veggies). Our server and cook were outstanding and we left very happy and very full!

We came to Shogun for a company dinner snd it was a blast. We had 16 people and the chef and wait staff were great and entertaining. The food was good. Hibachi sometimes turns into super dry food but this was not the case here at Shogun. I ordered the Filet, medium rare and it was cooked great. Flavors were good and the sides were still hot when my meat was done. Drinks and food for 16 people with tip was all under $900. Definitely a great time and would recommend. It was clean and a fun time.

I wish zero stars were an option. I called this evening to place an order as I've always done for nearly 2 decades, I don't ask to speak to a manager to ensure it was written And prepared properly for a simple accommodation Based on the severe impact, it would have prepped otherwise. The "Manager of 10 years- Jose"-- Who is currently in a minor management position, debated and ARGUED with me for nearly 45 minutes In order to have my requested accommodated, I would need to be at the restaurant to place the order as opposed to calling in it (keeping things simple here) hence- They requested that is not need to go order was simply prepared on a Teppanyaki grill and not in the kitchen, so could be properly cleaned based on the circumstances, I've never had an issue with this request. Furthermore, as a manager for him to ask me to come in waste the hostess, the server and then take up occupancy at a table to get a order to go in the way that he wanted me to do. It is one of the most absurd Order of procedures To ask of someone, When this has been accommodated many times prior. His excuse was "I've never seen it done that way." If a manager cannot make a small accommodation that could ultimately result in life or death for A customer based on allergies, Or regardless of the magnitude here. I don't know where they accommodating anyone pertaining to having great or good hospitality. I've never had the luxury of meeting this gentleman, after asking the owner, how long he had been a manager has brought to my knowledge, "not long". Furthermore, the secondary excuse he gave was aesthetically. What did it look like for a shift to prepare or place food items in a box while other customers were or would be at the table dining- My response to him was that it's accommodated all the time when I come in and sit at the grill and then I have a Secondary order that I place "to go"- The chef prepares it along with the rest of everyone's meals and boxes up the portion for that order, Our server will always bring the compliments such as a soup and salad outside from the kitchen area to add to box/bag for take-out. As someone who owns an operate, a local business associated with hospitality, I always make sure my guests, clients or customers are met with whatever their needs may be especially something feasible. To my advantage, gentleman had no idea who I was leading with that would've been tacky/lacked couth on my behalf of the business woman, regardless. I don't want my relationship or status in the community to affect the quality of customer service. I get when it should be an equal opportunity business. I've seen a time and time again a restaurant can Have immaculate execution in every area and poor management will absolutely run it into the ground every time. Sadly, I recognized this with the restaurant over the last 6 years Furthermore, with shutting down other locations, the lack of business, etc. We can't blame it all on Jose, but There's something missing somewhere and it's simple things like this that make a huge difference in someone's experience And representation of the business itself. In the event, you may counter a conflict or something that you would have to to speak to management about. I would avoid this location at all costs, Sam And Steven had the Fayettville location have always been spectacular in the customer service area. Bentonville has been struggling for quite some time, again...... These are the things. Word of Mouth is the best advertisement, I'll be sure to use what influence I can to defer people's interest in this location seeing that we have other options New and local in the area. Aside from Google, which is just consumer friendly so I came here first I'll be posting it on other social media platforms tens of thousands of followers, yelp, TripAdvisor, etc., anywhere that curious guests or customers would seek information pertaining to a Experience here and what they should expect.

Soooooo bad! Literally I don't understand how they get away with this level of food and service. I have been going to Shogun's in SoCal for 3 decades and the quality of food and service is 1000000x better than this location. Food was gross. Chef three food onto the plates and spilled into my lap 4 times!! Won't be coming back.

Akaida seated us and was our server for the evening. While many menu items looked tempting, we had never had Ostrich so the ostrich patty melt was our choice with a side salad. The melt was amazing! Honestly, I've spent as much for a grass fed beef burger so I was very pleased with the sandwich we had. The only negative for the sandwich was that they were inconsistent with the aioli. My wife got none on her half while my first bite resulted in sauce exploding from the sandwich all over my shirt. Still worth it! The mixed greens salad was ok too, but this sandwich will be remembered.

As I mentioned earlier it feels like an upscale pub when you walk in, but this is also a historic building. Tusk & Trotter sits where Sam Walton's original general office and warehouse was located. We sat in the bar area as we also stopped by the restaurant during happy hour. For food we started with the Arkansas Fritters (Ralston Family Farms rice with ground beef, house-made sausage, parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes, dill & lemon chipotle remoulade & chow chow) which were packed with so much flavor. For our entrees we ordered where the Buffalo roam (Sayersbrook Bison Ranch patty, brioche bun, cheddar, swiss, bacon, chipotle aioli, over easy egg & LTOP) which is definitely the highlight with a side of fries. The burger fell apart and you could tell it was extremely fresh. If you are in Bentonville, this is a must try!

Unfortunately, while the service and ambiance were very good, the food and portion sizes left us disappointed. There were four of us, and we each had an alcoholic drink, all of which were good. We started with two appetizers: the guacamole and the burrata. The guacamole was tasty, but the portion was surprisingly small. The burrata dish was very salty--not just from the prosciutto that was part of the dish, but overall. We were celebrating a couple of birthdays, and the restaurant kindly brought us two complimentary appetizers, charred carrots and a gem lettuce salad. We appreciated the gesture, and both were tasty. Unfortunately, the charred carrots were also quite salty. All four of our entrees tasted good, but the portion sizes ranged from small to extremely small. My blackened salmon was approximately 1¼ inches wide and 3 1/2 inches long. I initially thought part of my entree had been left off the plate but I eventually found the quinoa underneath the salmon--but there was literally less than a tablespoon of it. The other three entrees had somewhat better portions, but all three were also noticeably oversalted. My wife, who adds salt to just about everything, even commented that her dish was too salty, which says something. Our bill was approximately $300 for the four of us before tax and tip. At that price point, I expect significantly better execution, more reasonable portions, and better value. Overall, the service was good, the atmosphere was attractive, and we appreciated the complimentary birthday appetizers. Unfortunately, the food was simply too salty and the portions were far too small for the price. I had been looking forward to this restaurant, but based on this experience, I left mostly disappointed and would not recommend it.

For our entree we got the bbq for two, the chicken tasted like they tried too hard to get the smoke flavor, the baked beans were just straight up bad - I don't think they used the right beans, the slaw was not slaw-ing, the pulled pork was ok if you changed your mindset to it being a roast, the ribs weren't memorable. Now this is coming from someone who grew up in Memphis and knows about good bbq so maybe I'm being too harsh and it's my fault that I order bbq from a non bbq restaurant, but imo if you're gonna serve it, do it right or take it off the menu.

The wait for appetizers was short, but beverage service lagged well behind appetizers. We ordered our entrees and sides...and then WAITED. From the time we sat down till entrees came out, it was 1.25 hrs!! The restaurant was not busy. Then when we cut into our 6 steaks (not at the server's request, which is often customary at steak houses where we come from (Dallas) 5 of the 6 of our steaks were prepared incorrectly. All were over cooked - whether ordered medium rare or medium rare- all were done well past the requested level. Our waitress promptly and rightfully suggested we send them back. Which we did. Two minutes later, an obviously inexperienced manager shows up and rudely tells us it's "the lighting due to dining outside" that makes us THINK our steaks are overcooked. "Things can look more gray in natural light", he said. Really!?!? We said "excuse us...but no. These were prepared incorrectly." So he VERY reluctantly ordered 5 fresh steaks When those 5 came out, two that were ordered medium were very rare. And had to be returned AGAIN! They comp'ed us dessert as if that was going to make up for the abysmal service. NOT RETURNING - NOT RECOMMENDING.
