I went to Eye Deal Optical hoping to hopefully repair or replace my broken sunglasses ( prescription sunglasses are pricey! ) James tried several options to repair them for me, but when that didn't work out he took the time to find a similar frame to put my lenses in. I was so happy to have an economical solution for my prescription sunglasses! I walked out the door with my sunglasses in less then an hour for less than $50. The service was great! James really went out of his way to help me and my new sunglasses are super cute. read more

I've beengoing to Eyedeal optical for at least 25 years. It is without a the best optical shop I've ever visited. Great service, great people, and unbelievably affordable. I spend substantially less money there than when I used to get glasses & contacts with insurance at other stores. I have progressive polycarbonate trifocals with amazing frames and they cost me a third of what I was quoted somewhere else. And even though the value is important. Service is even more important to me. They are the place to go and I highly recommend you call them today. Ask about the really cool prescription sunglasses they can make you in any color and style. Buyer Beware. This shop does not grind lenses to match your prescription. They bulk order lenses just like you can do online and then fit them into frames. If you have astigmatism or any special lens needs, they cannot provide a lens ground for you. You will get headaches. This is not posted anywhere. When I began to question why I wasn't told this, the Manager, James, became angry, argumentative, condescending and denied I ever asked for anything different. Everything was the customers problem..and his staff go right along with him. He didn't show up for an appointment and suggested I might not have made it for that day. He will not refund your money. I made 3 trips to his office...once he had an absessed tooth and wasn't feeling well but the next time he didn't show because he had a 'sick kid'...he is not dependable and if you complain you will be called snotty and treated very badly. You should be very clear what this shop is before you go. This is NOT a reputable man and he will bully you. I am calling the Better Business Bureau to see if he needs to have some sign up that says they just buy premade lenses..he has one complaint to BBB which he did not respond to. read more

Go to Costco. Much better frame selection, better eye exam with the latest technology, fast turnaround. Very friendly. They don't charge an extra percentage on your credit card either as Eyedeal does, nor do they charge 5.00 for a glass case. ex: If you purchase Gucci glasses at Costco, you get the matching Gucci glass case. Everything is just better in the optical department at Costco. Fantastic prices as well. Very disappointed in Eyedeal. It is not the same business as with the previous owner. read more

Been going here for glasses for years and no matter the visit this place has exceptional customer service as well as frames and lenses at a reasonable price. And unlike some other non-chain places I went in the past the selection of frames is always robust and up to date style-wise. I went in for eye exam and new glasses. I have a very high prescription. All details of testing before I went to see doctor were explained. The doctor thoughly went over issues to watch for since my vision is bad. He took his time and went into detail every step of the way. I felt valued and well taken care of. Next, time to pick out glasses. They first make sure it is a clean and safe environment that you are not handling/trying on after anyone else without it being clean. The frames I picked out, they gave me honest opinions about them. I was even lucky to be there when new frames came in. They even went through the new stock to help me find a good style that fit me and the thick vision that I needed. Last to fit me. I couldnt believe how James could tell how I was reading a near by sign with my old glasses. I was reading more toward my bifocals. James has helped me before as I could not clearly see my computer screen. I am looking forward to my new glasses. The whole staff was attentive and friendly. I highly reccomend Eyedeal for all your optical needs. Best part they have good prices along with great service. read more

Stopped in here with a pair of broken frames that I didn't purchase from here. They fixed them at no cost. Then, I purchased a pair of prescription glasses here and received great service. I've also purchased a pair of prescription sunglasses here. Even with purchasing two pairs of glasses, I saved money over using my insurance at a local store. I'll definitely be back. read more

Dr. Schumacher gave a bad prescription for my father James and refused to fix his mistake! The Doctor yelled at his patient and blamed it on his Cataracts. Poor service and unprofessional. The store is fine for glasses, however, the optometrist has an independent practice within the store. After years of having my eyes checked here, this last year has been a very difficult year. The optometrist orders all of the contact lenses personally for his patients. In doing so, he ordered an incorrect multifocal lens for one of my contacts and instead of admitting his mistake, he made excuses. When I asked him to look at the last box of lens he ordered for me and compare that to the previous box and the prescription he wrote for my contact lens, he would clearly see that they do not match. He acknowledged that but said they would not match because he ordered a different lens. However, even the power of the lens does not match which should not change from one lens manufacturer to another. When I explained that I was going to have this looked at by another optometrist to verify what he is telling me is in fact correct, he immediately said that I should just take my business to someone else. Advise that I will certainly be taking. read more
