This is like a Western Target with clothes and cowboy boots (the doors look like it was a Target before), Home Depot and pet store for horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, etc. They have bunnies and chicks for sale. The prices on the bunny stuff is similar to the stuff I get from Amazon. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. read more

I know it's bad to choose chains over mom and pop shops, but Shoppers blows all of the other feed stores out of the water. It's clean. There's plenty of staff. It's awesome. As for a few cons, they always have pretty common chicken breeds here, so I guess I'll keep my chicken buying to the smaller chains since I like a variety of birds in my flock. Another con is that they don't have as great of sales prices as Big R (found in other states). I guess country is too big of a fad in Phoenix for them to have worthwhile sales on boots and clothing. We were regulars here. Bought mostly hay, pellets and supplements spending $200+ monthly. Safe Choice Original and New Image Vitamins were also a purchase we were making until the vet and farrier told us they were so high in sugar and starch that you would need to overfeed the horses to see any nutritional value. So, within a few days of a recent purchase, my mom brought back the unopened and actually unmoved supplements that were loaded the back of her SUV by the staff. She came in with her receipt and requested to exchange them for something else. DENIED. Even though the website and receipt failed to mention such a policy, and in fact, the receipt states you CAN return items within 30 days, the staff refused to allow her to exchange them!! They simply aren't good products and the store should really reconsider selling them or reevaluate its return policy if it's going to sell subpar supplies. We won't be customers here anymore, which is a shame because it's been our place for so long, and all this over $44 we would've ideally just exchanged for something that would actually be helpful to our horses. read more

On January 23, 2021, I telephoned your Chandler store around 2pm to speak with the manager to enquire about your Ace-Roto tanks. The sale on them was supposed to take effect on January 27th 2021. I offered to pay for two 2500 gallons tanks over the phone, but per your company policy, the store does not accept payment over the phone. If the manager had requested a cash deposit, I would have had my brother go over to your store and paid for the deposit. My brother lives in Gilbert. So I asked the manager if he would hold two tanks for me so that I can drive down from Show Low and pick them up on Saturday January 30, 2021. He said he would and transferred my call over to an employee named Blake who took down my name and number for a pickup on January 30, 2021. I drove down from Show Low yesterday after work. Blake from your store reached out to me a couple of times yesterday and left 2 voice messages while I was driving down. I did not receive the messages until later in the evening. By the time I received the messages, it was after 8pm so I decided to call the next morning Saturday January 30, 2021 at 8am. On January 30, 2021, I reached out to your Chandler store at 8am sharp to confirm that I will be picking up the tanks and a young lady transferred my call over to the manager. Can't remember his name, but I was told that the tanks were sold. As you can imagine, I was very disappointed and angry. His excuse for selling the tanks was that because I did not reply to Blake. He also told me that I had a whole week to pick up the tanks. Mind you that the sale did not start until the 27th and I specifically requested for the store to hold the tanks for me as I live in Show Low. My believe is to always support local companies before going to chain stores, but here is a lesson that I have learned the hard way. I will be returning to Show Low with an empty trailer. The people are always friendly and asking if you need help. I love the selection of equine supplies they have and you can't beat the prices. This is my go to place for equine supplies and supplements. I just wish they carried my Farriers Formula and Uncle Jimmy's Lickey Things so I wouldn't have to make the extra stop at their competitors store. I am making an addendum to my review because after I wrote this I went to another store and saw that something I purchased was cheaper. .... I almost made it 30 yrs without wearing a pair of dang cowboy boots. If going to this store and shopping for boots ins't love..... I don't know what is! First time here was last week and its a pretty great store, very big and has a lot of different stuff. My boyfriend and I had to come here to find me a pair of boots so I can start working out in the barn with him, with his horses. The more I am around his horses and riding the more I am understanding why I need boots. They had a pretty decent selection for men and women and the lady that helped us, thank you! It took me over an hour to find a pair of boots I didn't hate. Not because of their selection, but because I was not ready to trade my DC's in for Justins'. After finding a pair I liked we then checked out the guns, ammo, horse gear, etc. This place is pretty neat and has just about everything you need for different outdoor activities, farm animals to indoor house animals, clothes, belts, buckles, shoes, boots, hunting, fishing.... just about everything besides groceries for humans lol! I like the store in general and have been here many times with success. Last time I bought some 20x20 air filters and installed them. I went to replace them three months later and found that both had buckled under the normal air pressure of the fan running and were bent and not doing anything. Would never buy their air filters again. Never had trouble like this in ten years using Ace Hardware filters and will be going back to them. That said, I do like the store for other things, just won't be using their air filters. read more

I walked into this shop just to see what it had to offer because the name does not really indicate what they sell. I was surprised at the array of things they sell as I wandered through the fairly large store. They have a huge selection of Carhartt clothing which is nice. They also, have sporting goods for hunting and fishing but the camping section is a bit scarce. They also have horse feed supplies and a huge pet food/toy section. You can also buy baby chics. If you are looking for heavier duty industrial level welders and other equipment they have it. This store seems to cater to a variety of customers but doesn't really have a central theme. I felt a little out of place walking around in Birkenstocks instead of cowboy boots. I will add this place to my quiver of stores especially since a lot of their hardware items are much more industrial than what you can find at the big box hardware stores. read more

My wife and I went to Shoppers in Apache Junction to buy a $550.00 heavy item. We were told to pull my pickup truck around to the east side glass doors to have the item loaded in my truck. So i pulled my truck around to the side of the building to the glass doors like i was told. There was one other pickup over there loading bails of hay, so i drove around him and parked in front of the glass doors. I waited for someone to help load my truck for only a minute, when these two yard guys came over, and the taller one told me, "next time you come here, don't cut in line". I honestly had no idea what he was talking about, and i was in a bit of shock from the tone of his voice and the way he was yelling at me. . I ask him what he was talking about, and he told me i should have waited behind the first truck that was loading hay, in a different part of the yard. There was no excuse what so ever for yelling at a customer like he did, when i was told by salesman inside the store to pull my truck up to those doors, and they would load my truck. I did exactly what i was told to do. My wife and I reported this to the store manager. Never again will i go to that store. I just had open heart surgery back in October, so i was pretty scared and shocked on how i was treated. This was a big guy. I only did what i was told to do. I wasn't in anyone's way, or blocking any vehicles. Never again.. read more

Awesome selection of work boots and great service. The first pair of boots I bought had a very slight deficiency on the interior seam work which caused great discomfort. After two weeks I decided this was never going to get broke in so I took the boots back and they returned them to the manufacturer and gave me a new pair which are perfect. Great service! read more

I love this store. You can get everything it seems. Great selection of hardware and some items you just cannot find anywhere else. Knowledgeable people running the gun dept. And the clothing: a better selection of Ariat, Cinch, Wrangler and others than any of the western clothing stores in town. Nice selection of cowboy hats. Terrific boot selection, too. Finally a big store opened up in the mall by Alma and Queen-creak after Target g. Very friendly staff and huge inventory. Love this place all kinds of stuff and Great selection of firearms and hunting supplies. Prices for firearms are not competitive but selection is good. read more

Awesome place! Their website is terrible, so it's hard to see exactly what they carry but the actual store is great. It's setup in an old super target retail space and they have a ton of outdoor, pet, hunting, and home improvement stuff. They seem to carry quite a few really great brands and I was impressed with the amount of U.S. made products. The customer service seemed on par with that of a local Ace store, with offers for help from at least a handful of employees. read more

I used to go to Tractor supply but I recently heard about Shoppers supply from a friend and wanted to try it out. The young boys in equine I believe Jack and Josiah or Joshua were very helpful and knowledgeable about the product and helped me find what i was looking for! ATVs, fog lights, durable work clothes, shoes, grills, tents, outdoors stuff, cleaning supplies, rugged toys, DIY...runs the gamat of all things necessary in your hectic life and to top it off, all the store clerks are friendly and ready to help. My first trip, went in for wooden handles to replace the worn ones on my wheelbarrow, they found them in the back, even had the ones made of steel. I have been shopping there since their opening. After today never again. I have spent over 10k at the Chandler location. But after dealing with a so called Manager, Chris I found his customer approach to be the worst. After all this time I simply wanted to but five bales of hay. No one in line ahead or behind me. I am handicapped and "Chris" insteaded I pull around with the trailer to pay first. No where for a handicapped person to park with a trailer. I pointed this out to Chris and his response was " not in his area of responsibility". I pulled out of the way. Went into to pay and when I returned the loading area was still empty. I asked Chris how many customers came through in the five minutes I was in the store. Chris said three. The person loading the hay said no one. This place has gone way downhill. Half the product as when opened and the worst Service level I have seen in a long time. The fact they would put Chris in a managerial position goes to show Top Management does not care about the Customer. Go somewhere else. Even HD and Lowes say Thank you. Shoppers says as Chris does, screw the customer. Regardless of the situation, time of day or traffic in the so called loading area. By the way, where I was parked a Semi could have fit through. But the mighty Chris wanted it his way. Maybe He should work at Wendy's. Chris, you and your prentices Beard need to learn who pays the income to the store. read more
