Flower bar with flowers from Shop Rite of Hillsdale. The best!!
    Laura M.

This is the absolute best Shop Rite, from the amazing, friendly woman who works the seafood counter to the butchers who always make sure my marrow bones for my dogs are cut perfectly for them. My absolute favorite department is the floral department. I absolutely love the women who work there. I'm so stupid for forgetting their names, as they always remember mine. They were so helpful when I needed to order a large amount of flowers for a bridal shower I was coordinating as I am an Event Planner. My client requested a flower bar and those women were so knowledgeable and helpful. I'll never use any other florist again. They even helped bring all my buckets of flowers to my car on a busy Saturday afternoon. I can't thank them enough. The absolute best and the flowers literally lasted for weeks. The greatest value for your money with the absolute top notch service. I'm going to update this when I get their names. Love them!!

Everything is well stocked and organized here. I always enjoy shopping here. The parking lot is also huge which is a plus.

The cold cut counter is a nightmare! I dread going there, so lately I have been going to Stop & Shop in Emerson.

Love the last few negative reviews. Aaa of park ridge and Charles of Hillsdale both pretty much covered it all.

You can smell the bread and pizza from roughly 100 meters away. A guy like me can cover that in the 11 second range once the vermicelli noodles of hair in my nostrils catch the right sniff. Impressive? Idk. But I bet I look the part when I'm cycling my feet in continuity with my arms pumping in synchrony. Covering the X and Y Axis at the perfect rates as to not extend my stride too long or bring my knees to high. I'm a peddler. A popper. The Pepper Shaker. But anyways - everything was pretty solid. Pizza was solid. Not going crazy for it but if you need a little pick me up on your Park Ridge stroll you'll be pretty content having a low 7s slice and supporting local business. A content LB is a gracious LB. With graciousness, I say gg homies.

It's one of those places where they make a few things and they'll run out soon enough. I bought a Nutella babka and a sourdough baguette, which is small. It's only about 6-7" long. Again, cute place. Both items tasted great and I can say that the quality is there. If you're expecting a big bakery, this isn't the place. It's more of a niche place with select offerings. There are a couple tables inside, if you'd like to stay and munch. While visiting on a Friday morning, a few other customers popped in and I could tell that they definitely have repeat customers. Prices are what you'd expect for this type of niche, family run bakery.

Weeks months later I still had no items from my order and when my mother in law who went to meet up with her the first time at the farmers market to pick up my order after multiple frustrating messages, she flaked on her. Ultimately she dropped it off at my mother laws house near her bakery but it was a frustrating and disappointing ordeal. The scones were so tiny they looked like cookies and the wontons were so doughy and spicy I couldn't eat them. I would not recommend the value for the price and dealing with the owner. I'm sure buying from her directly might be a different experience but sadly she has the worst customer service so I never ventured here. I'm no the first to complain about this business either so it seems to be a pattern. But I hope after 2 years she's changed her approach.

The Mint Ting a Ling and Cotton Candy are great choices for hard ice cream. We were all pleased after this last visit. The kid serving us was friendly and his cone creations were satisfying. I got a vanilla soft serve in a waffle cone with rainbow sprinkles and a cup of rainbow sprinkles on the side. The on the side sprinkles was like big condiment cup which impressed me. The ice cream was so delicious. The safe as well was so nice and cheery. The place was also packed. I will say the cone I got was almost $8 (likely due to the waffle cone) which is kind of steep for soft serve ice cream but everything is expensive these days so I'm not knocking them for it. Also this ice cream was everything and then some to me so I would happily go back and pay that price again. Will definitely be frequenting this place all summer because it truly made me the happiest.
