This place is pretty good with the exception of a creepy older woman who works. She constantly has been hitting on me . Pouring out all of her complaints about working there and how the owners are mean to her ? Everytime I go in and see she is there I make a U turn and walk out . She mentioned to my husband and I that she use to work at ACE's hardware and how she stoled money when she worked there and how the owner of ACE's did take her to court and she now has a felony . Why is she working there , and handling all of our personal information , even financial documents I've had emailed. Folks I cannot stress to be very very careful of this woman especially now knowing that she has a felony that she picked up from stealing money at ACE's when she worked there before . And if you are a woman , be very careful because I have mentioned several times to her that I am HAPPILY married to my husband and she is still persistent on flirting with me which makes me feel very uncomfortable. I called yesterday and spoke with the owner Steve and had to let him know all of this. I hope the next time I walk in that she is not there ... I seriously get anxiety walking in there now because of this older woman ... becareful folks .. read more

Quick, easy, and they have a fast Notary service! I've been here several times for notary, and we had some old blueprints scanned.

Needed updated passport photos for PP renewal, told them to digitize them for online renewal purpose, service was $ 20. So far so good with SBC, but thru no fault of their own or mine, I painstakingly discovered I needed to send PP via snail mail, so recontacted SBC via phone. I told him ( employee) my situation and requested in a polite and courteous tone to please convert my recent digital PP photos to physical ones as a result of PP agency requirement. I sent my digital photos back to them and told him an email was in the cue for the conversion. He told me, " sorry it's an extra service and we will have to charge you another $ 20, it's policy." I responded with " what is the difference in price for digital vs physical copies of photos?" He said, "none." I said "it would be a nice customer gesture and service on their behalf to waive the service fee given my circumstances." Again. he stated the policy defense. In closing, I said " it's my policy to pay your fee, never conduct future business with your company and leave a negative review about my negative experience." He seemed unconcerned, apathetic, rude and unprofessional IMHO. I picked up my photos, paid the superfluous fee and walked out calm and collective. 1 star on customer service.... full stop! read more

I'd give 0 stars if I could. It wouldn't let me email my pdf i needed printed, so they charged me extra to use the computer. I also had to pay to print. Despite this however, the printed only printed half my document and I didn't find out until I got home despite being charged full. What a ripoff! I want my full document, not half of it! I had never worked with a graphic designer before meeting Fernando at Shore Business Center, Long Beach. He found a fabulous template and took the time to formulate the information I provided for the snazziest Moving and Garage Sale signage, I'd ever imagined. When he and his co-worker affixed the poster to the board, however, it was discovered that the poster's previous orientation prevented the yard signage holder to be inserted properly in the ground. It was the end of the day and the poster was left "as is" until the following morning. Fernando agreed to run the print again, at no charge, for morning pickup. When the orientation is modified to accommodate the changes, affixed to the poster board correctly, the sign holder in place and with the metal spokes that when inserted then stabilization will have been achieved and he is a happy young man. With the aptitude, brilliance and perseverance I observed in Fernando, today, he should be able to produce cutting edge print that will bring more customers his way. Thank you for the effort, courtesy and professionalism you showed to me this afternoon. I'm confident that the sign will attract a crowd and that Fernando, one day, be in charge of all who work beside him! read more

I pulled up to Shore Business Center at 9 AM sharp, and they were already open and ready to go--love that! Cassie, who's been holding it down there for 19 years, greeted me with jokes and real hospitality. Felt welcomed instantly. Then Steve, the Live Scan tech, made the process smooth and easy. I was in and out in 10 minutes flat. (no appointment was necessary) I paid $79 that might seem steep, but with the vibe, comfort, and extras like free copies, it was definitely worth it. Welp, apparently you can't mail a very small and light book via standard postal mail. I thought 2 stamps would get it from here to Hollister, CA, but it was returned... so off to Shore Business Center I went. I'd been there a few days prior to mail something else and was helped by Cassy, who was incredibly nice and helpful. I was delighted to see her working on my second visit and she even remembered the book I'd mentioned the first time! I was super impressed with this. Once again, she helped me mail my package and was such a pleasure to chat with. I wish I mailed packages more often :). read more

I luckily don't have to use this business often anymore!! The offer great service, but who the hell still charges a fee to use a credit card. I mean under $5 I've seen a $.50 fee, but I spent $80 and they charged me $2 to use a credit card!! So stupid!! The poor kid working here had to try to justify it to me. He was very nice and did my live scan efficiently, but the owner is an idiot!! read more

My family and I have been using this business literally for as long as I can remember (20+ years) ... from back when it was "Mailboxes Etc." I was reminded today what a little gem this is... the assortment of fun local items is great (Horny Corner Poster!) and the greeting card assortment is varied and super reasonably priced. I have used Shore Business Center for last minute computer/printing needs when my own has been down, grabbed last minute little gifts, and even landlord forms! I love that it still feels like a small business with personable staff and services you forget you need (notary, keys copied, printing services!) I needed some paperwork notarized on short notice but due to my work schedule was unable to get to any notaries in my area (east Long Beach) during _their_ available hours. I tried a copy store, my bank, several other places, without luck. Then I renembered Shore Business Center; it was on the way to my mom's house for a family function. I called them, verified that Shore Business Center's notary was available. I arrived at their facility, had to wait a bit, but within 15 minutes, got the necessary notarization, and for a very reasonable price. Thanks SBC for being so convenient and affordable! read more
