I've been going here for half a decade and Dr. Co and staff has been compassionate, kind and trustworthy. I get about four cleanings done a year and I know I can rely them to do their job exceptionally. They would provide their expertise and recommendations in procedures that needs to be done, but they don't hassle you to get them right away like some dentists I've been to making you feel bad after an appointment. They also send out reminder cards, birthday cards, seasonal greetings, community activities for kids, and give you free dental supplies (if needed) after an appointment. Overall grade 9/10 for their exceptional, passionate. hard working staff. It would be 10/10 if they open on Fridays. read more

Highly recommend this skilled and empathetic man! Dr Co and his team were very kind, patient, and gentle with me when I needed a crown replaced. I was grateful for their perfectionism to get the job done right, so I wouldn't have to go through it again. Dr Co's bedside manner went above and beyond empathy I would expect from a dentist. He explained the process as we went, checked in with me along the way to make sure I was okay and not in pain, and talked me through some anxiety I had around the procedure. I literally chose Shoreline Dental when I moved back to Seattle because they claimed it was a judgment free zone on their website. It had been two years since going to the dentist so I knew it would be bad. They totally delivered on that "judgment free" mantra and more. Chelsey was my hygienist and when I told her it was gonna be rough, she said she loved challenges. Through a long string of appointments, Chelsey was great, upbeat, professional and did a great job. Dr. Co went above and beyond for me! I had an 9yr old crown come off on Saturday night and I was able to get into his office for an emergency appointment Monday morning! He and his staff skipped their lunch, saved my tooth and prepped me for an new crown. All in one visit. I am overjoyed and extremely humbled at such a giving and generous staff. DON'T GO HERE! At first I totally loved it. I had to find a dentist and find one fast because all of my fillings from a couple of years before (Dr Ebsworth) were cracking and causing me some pain. First off, the front desk staff is not very friendly, and they said that they were going to send the person who refered me a Starbucks gc - which they never did. When I came out and could barely talk they want me to pay like the $300 that my insurance coverage wouldn't pay - Like I have $300 right then and there....they refuse to bill you but are willing to split the payments up but only after they have talked to the dentist to make sure that it is ok....and then they wanted to schedule me for more work the next week - more money. Once, I really thought that my appt was on Friday and got a call on Wednesday confirming and they wanted me to call back. I called back after hours on Wednesday telling them that I would be there - still thinking that it was Friday and then they called me late Thursday to tell me that they were charging me for not canceling my appt at least 24 hours ahead of time - I call them Friday and they aren't there...wtf....so I try to tell them that I really thought that it was Friday and not Thursday thinking that they could give me a warning and not charge me the $50 - not so much. Needless to say that was over a year ago and I still refuse to pay them the $50. The work that they did isn't very good. I think that everytime me or one of my family members goes there they find something else that all the sudden needs to be done..We are pretty sure that we are buying him a new boat, car, and/or house at this point. I also find it really weird that they give you cookies when you are leaving...who gives cookies? Sugar free candy maybe...but cookies. That you can't eat for a couple of hours because you have just had a treatment on your teeth. So basically, they do shitty work, are not friendly or willing to work with you, they "find" stuff that needs to be done, and they give you cookies you can't eat until later. read more

After pregnancy wreaked havoc on my teeth, I went to Shoreline Dental because my husband was a patient. After having a wonderful initial visit, things quickly went downhill as 1) I had the wrong side of my mouth numbed while getting a filling 2) I had to return 4 times to get in attempt to get my high bite fixed. After moving, my new dentist was able to fix my high bite at the initial cleaning and commented the work I had done at Shoreline "was not great". That really added insult to injury! No idea why I didn't find a new dentist sooner. read more

I love coming here, not only is it easily accessible and close to the freeway, but the staff is always super friendly and remembers your name. So nice to go to a clinic that is like a tightknit family. They get you in fast and get you out completely taken care of in a timely fashion! read more

Although this was my first time at Shoreline dental, I felt very welcome and comfortable from the moment I first stepped into the office. I just cited to come here from another office in the area because I had a very negative experience, they completely turned me around. I was coming from another dental office in the same area, but I cannot describe the difference in the way that I was treated in the way that I felt. I felt that this dental center had superior service, more educated staff, as well as a much more attentive Doctor Who is more willing to answer my questions. He also made sure I understood all of the insurance costs prior to making any charges to my policy. I would recommend shoreline dental to anyone in the area, I have never had a better dental experience in the shoreline and Montlake Terrace area. I am truly the world's biggest wimp when it comes to seeing the dentist. I go, but only because there is always something with my teeth that needs to be taken care of. I take care of them, they just don't take care of me. I've been a patient of Dr. Princeton Co for 6 years, and couldn't be more pleased. The office staff is professional and helpful, the office is immaculate, and Dr. Co treats me with professionalism and courtesy, even when I'm in tears. I've had less fillings and problems with my teeth over the past 6 years than ever before, and when I did have an emergency, they handled it immediately and completely. I've been a patient of Dr. Co's almost since he graduated dental school... He is the nicest dentist I have ever had... When I lived out of state for a year and a half, I came home to Dr. Co for a second opinion from a dentist who told me I needed five fillings. Dr. Co examined me and determined that only one filling truly needed replacement. I trust Dr. Co to know what I need, and I highly recommend his practice. His office is clean and well-appointed with modern technology, and the staff is second to none when it comes to service and caring about your needs. I would not recommend dr ko to anyone unless you want procedures that did not need to be done. i found this out by getting a second opinion from a office based out of lynnwood. i found out i did not have cavities that he said he worked on. i could not beleive what i was hearing. i just got ripped off. on my last visit with dr princeton co i informed him that i was having the university of washington perform the 2 implants that needed to be done. his unprofessional response was that if he didnt do all of the work i could go someplace to finish my dental work. this is just after he gave me two shots before a filling that he was supposed to fix. i asked him if he would like me to leave now? his response was sure if you want to. at this point i could not beleive how unproffessional dr princeton co was. so i got up and left. i paid for all procedures up front because i have a level of buiseness integrity he has none of. the office said they would refund me the upfront money i paid them before the job started. when i got the check in the mail i noticed he charged me for the 600 dollar procedure he did not do. i own a small plumbing buiseness and i can tell you i would never do this to any of my customers. after already hiring them for 12,000 dollars worth of work, i could not beleive dr princeton co would rip me off. also i cannot beleive he did cavities in my mouth that did not need to be done. dr princeton co is not a trustworthy human being and i would be very careful with this dr. co. withought a shadow of a doubt get a second opinion. i learned my lesson on paying people before the job is done. read more

I've been going to see Dr. Co since 1998 and don't plan on changing because he's great and trustworthy. Staff is super nice, I like that when I leave after a cleaning my teeth and gums feel refreshed not hurt, and they give me cookies which are delicious. Our whole family goes there: mom, grandma, aunt, cousins. They are not open Fridays which is kind of a bummer but we just go other days if the week (m-th). read more

Today I had an appointment for a cleaning and an exam at Shoreline Dental with Dr. Co. I arrived 32 minutes early as requested for check in. The initial front desk girl that greeted me was very professional and was the only positive part of my experience. After filling out paper work in less than 10 minutes, I hand it in. After waiting 20 minutes a dental hygienist finally comes out. The cleaning was standard, nothing special, however I did get a nice clunk to the head by the dental hygienist, as she was clumsy when moving the x-ray machine.The cherry on top came when it was time for the dentist to exam my teeth, the main reason I am at the dentist. Come to find that the dentist was out for the day and I would need to reschedule another day to be seen by a dentist. They say "were sorry, didn't you get our message?" Supposedly they left a message on my phone, which I rarely ever check but regardless they say nothing when I arrive. (Come to find the message left didn't indicate that Dr. Co would be absent, at all) As someone that has a busy schedule, this was infuriating. I don't have time to come for an additional appointment because the boss decides he wants a day off. An appointment is an appointment, honor that or don't make the appointment to start with. This was hands down the most unprofessional move I have ever seen a doctor make. With so many different options, I urge anyone reading this to try any other dental office. Save yourself the time and frustration and make an appointment with someone that respects you and your time. UPDATE: After review, the single voicemail and single text message received did not show any indication that a dentist would not be present at my dentist appointment, but simply asked if I would like to come early. To be clear, there was nothing said about Dr. Cos absence until 35 minutes into my appointment. Not via voicemail, not via text message and not at check in or throughout the cleaning. Now Dr. Co is trying to lie in his reply to this review, saying his staff tried to contact me several times. That is a blatant lie. read more

We've been taking our family to Dr. Coe for a few years now. He's a great dentist. I have three kids and he does well with all of them. Very nice, very professional. Dentists are always expensive and this office does ask for the uninsured part on the spot, but that's how it is for most offices, usually because they get burned. Also, I had a bunch of work done and they printed out an estimate beforehand, which was then correct at the end. We're very happy with Dr. Coe. He may have stopped the cookie thing, we've never gotten any, which is fine with us. I strongly recommend him. read more

Kim F. My husband and myself having been seeing Dr. Co since our older dentist retired. We have always been very happy seeing Dr. Co and the staff for sometime. But you really don't know how good your dentist is until you have a major problem. I just found out how great Dr. Co and this staff are. They are Rock Stars! Just before Christmas I thought I just chipped my front tooth, a few days later I noticed a crack from the bottom of my tooth towards the gum line. I called Dr. Co, they got me right in. Dr. Coe looked at my tooth, and informed me I had fractured my tooth. He explained if it was his tooth, he would see an Endodontist (a Dr. that does root canals) to see what would be best for me. He then called Dr. Patel at Endodontic Northwest, and made agreements to see Dr. Patel within the hour. I went, and Dr. Co was correct, I needed a root canal to save my tooth. Dr. Patel did the root canal after consulting with Dr. Co that very day. Because Dr. Co referred me to Dr. Patel, and Dr. Patel performing the root canal that very day, I was able to go back to Dr. Co three days later to start a crown on my tooth. To my surprise Dr. Co had before hand arranged to have his lab person at my appointment to take pictures and work with me to have a custom shade made to match my other teeth. What a difference this made, I was very concerned about what my smile was to look like for the rest of my life. Dr. Co knew me so well from my visits with him in the past, to understand my concerns before I even stated them. What a professional approach to a patient, but more important he made me feel that I was as important has any of his personal family members. But I truly think this is just the way Dr. Co is with all his patients. A week and two days later, I have a beautiful crown, that looks better that my tooth did before. While I wish on one ever has to have a root canal and or crown, I know I am in the best of hands with Dr. Co. Go and become a part of Dr. Co's practice, I know you will be happy and treated like family. Plus the staff is always a pleasure to see and talk with, they all really care. read more

Although the office was very nice and the staff was friendly, I would not recommend this place. I have never had a cavity in my life so I was very surprised when Dr. Co said I had THREE cavities that needed to be filled right away. When I questioned where they were and wanted to see them on the x-ray he seemed defensive and said they were too small to be seen on an x-ray. My sister also had an appt the same month and was told the exact same thing (that she had three cavities that needed to be filled). Both my sister and I decided to get second opinions and we went to two separate offices. Both of the new dentists told us we did not have any cavities. Maybe Dr. Co is really aggressive with cavities but in my opinion he was trying to scam us. read more

I have to write another review for Dr. Co and his AWESOME staff! My 11 year old cracked her tooth while eating a chip and her dentist(who I don't care for) couldn't get her in until next week! I have been a Dr. Co patient for many many years and I called and they got my daughter in the same day and charged me a VERY REASONABLE fee since they do not take my daughter's insurance, I almost cried! And they were so gentle with her pulling the tooth out! They were so amazing! I love the staff so much, they are all super nice and friendly! Recently had the VERY UNFORTUNATE experience of Dr. Co drilling into my tooth AFTER THE NOVOCAINE WORE OFF! I had been in the chair at the Shoreline Dental school for two hours, having a filling filled by a student, which went fine, only to have Dr. Co come over to check the work, let them know i 'had another cavity right next to the one they had just filled' which should be filled right away. He started drilling in right away without first checking if i was still numb, i could tell the students were very uncomfortable and didn't like him, and when i shot up out of the chair after having my tooth drilled DEEP with no novocaine, they stopped him and told him to give me another shot. So he does, then begins drilling RIGHT AWAY, not even allowing the novocaine to set in. People, this guy is right out of some horror show. Do not, i repeat DO NOT go to to this Quack, or to Shoreline Dental School. I am still dealing with an ABCESS from where he drilled, and have since learned from another dentist that after looking at previous x-rays, there was only a pre-cavity where he drilled, and he severed my nerve as well, causing me ultimately to have an infected tooth, (face swelling, excruciating pain) 6 months of pain and discomfort and infection, and now, a root canal. read more
