Our situation was worse then expected and Pool Bros lived up to their reputation walking us through each problem we had. The filter was broken, water was leaking when we tried to add water, parts were missing, and the cover had a hole. From David who told us exactly what we needed to purchase, to Chris the service tech and Dan who called to explain the situation, Pool Bros are miracle workers. Chris was cool calm and collected through the whole pool opening experience, assuring us it was going to be ok and he did, in fact, open the pool despite the multiple obstacles that he encountered. We are very happy!

They identified plumbing issues and recommended that I pay to have the plumbing redone. I followed their recommendation and paid the additional cost. Yet the leaks that were part of the reason for addressing the plumbing still weren't resolved, and I was then faced with attempts to charge me even more. I have no problem paying for legitimate repairs that are clearly outside a maintenance contract. My problem is paying $3,098 for complete seasonal maintenance, approving additional work they recommended, and still repeatedly being presented with more charges while the underlying issues remain. For anyone considering them, my advice is simple: get every detail in writing and question every additional charge before approving anything. They got me this season. Never again. Stay away.

Poor construction and terrible customer service!…read more If you are thinking of using Swim-mor to build your pool, think again! Look closely at all of their reviews. A while back, the company was offering customers rebates if they posted positive reviews online. You shouldn't have to incentivize reviews, if you have truly satisfied customers. Pay attention to the critical reviews. You will see a pattern in them - construction issues and indifferent management. We built a new pool and hot tub with Swim-mor about five years ago. The whole first summer we were unable to use our hot tub because the piped openings were inadvertently sprayed with gunite and therefore clogged. Interestingly, one of the employees told us that this also happened in several other homes that the company constructed that year. Does no one manage the building of their pools? Clearly, it was unskilled labor operating with no oversight. Add to this that, since YEAR ONE, the tiles have been falling off our pool. After a few years of our complaining, they agreed to redo the tile, but told us we had to pay for the new tile, as they would only cover the labor. They didn't even offer the tile at cost. In frustration, we paid them a large additional sum of money, and - guess what - the tile continues to fall off! I see from reviews that other customers have had the same issue. If you think you are saving money with SM, think again! You will pay down the road. You will also find that, at Swim-mor, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Nor does it care. After signing our contract, we asked if we could take a look at another customer pool or two in the area to get ideas for our own pool. As soon as we arrived at one of those homes, the homeowner said, "Please tell me that you haven't signed a contract with Swim-mor yet! It's been a nightmare dealing with them." They then proceeded to show us all of the things that Swim-mor had done wrong. Can you imagine - they sent us out to a customer they should have known was unhappy -- but that's how oblivious they are! Believe me and the other reviewers when we say that they are only proficient at billing. Worst of all, when mistakes are made (and I mention ONLY two of my complaints above!), you are forced to the back of the line, with no apologies given. They will come when they feel like coming; they are busy collecting money from new customers! Save yourself the hassle and use anyone but Swim-mor!
