I told the owner (Emery) that I needed to have the pool maintenance before my son leaves to serve our country. Me and my spouse had no idea where to start or finish. Emery came in diagnosed the problem, didn't beat me over the head with pricing and stuck to his word. I would recommend this company to any and everyone and I am going to be a life customer. Thank you Emery for helping me make my son dream come true!!!!!!

They're skilled, professional, honest, fairly priced, and take genuine pride in their work. What impressed me most is the level of care and attention they give -- treating my property as if it were their own and making me feel valued throughout the process. Emery is incredibly responsive, efficient, and often on-site with his team to ensure everything is done properly and to a high standard. He even installed a new pool heater for me, and it's been working great. For the past three years, my pool has been opened, cleaned, and chemically balanced right on schedule -- never missing a beat. Thanks to EJ Pool and Spas, we're already enjoying the start of summer. Highly recommend -- 10/10!

Our situation was worse then expected and Pool Bros lived up to their reputation walking us through each problem we had. The filter was broken, water was leaking when we tried to add water, parts were missing, and the cover had a hole. From David who told us exactly what we needed to purchase, to Chris the service tech and Dan who called to explain the situation, Pool Bros are miracle workers. Chris was cool calm and collected through the whole pool opening experience, assuring us it was going to be ok and he did, in fact, open the pool despite the multiple obstacles that he encountered. We are very happy!

I met with them during the opening and trusted their professional recommendations. Once I was no longer there supervising, however, it became one additional charge after another. They identified plumbing issues and recommended that I pay to have the plumbing redone. I followed their recommendation and paid the additional cost. Yet the leaks that were part of the reason for addressing the plumbing still weren't resolved, and I was then faced with attempts to charge me even more. I have no problem paying for legitimate repairs that are clearly outside a maintenance contract. My problem is paying $3,098 for complete seasonal maintenance, approving additional work they recommended, and still repeatedly being presented with more charges while the underlying issues remain. For anyone considering them, my advice is simple: get every detail in writing and question every additional charge before approving anything. They got me this season. Never again. Stay away.

Twice in one week, this company sent workers onto my property without permission to open a pool I never scheduled. The first time, we caught them in our backyard and were forced to call the police, who confirmed they had the wrong customer and told them to leave. Despite being clearly warned by both us and the police, they returned the next morning and continued working even after I told them again to leave--this was not a mistake, it was repeated trespassing. When I arrived home after the second time, the damage and disregard were obvious. The pool cover had been removed and equipment was displaced. Nothing was restored. They entered without permission, performed unauthorized work, and left the property in worse condition. What's worse is how the company handled it afterward. They admitted they were in the wrong, yet took no real steps to fix their mistakes. When they returned "to fix it", all they did was loosely put the ladder on. In the process, chlorine was dumped onto our patio, and a jet was left missing. They didn't correct the damage--they created more. When we raised these issues, we were met with outright hostility and dismissal. We were told, "what more do you want," and then hung up on. Both the owner, Steven and support staff, Lisa B, were rude, defensive, and completely unwilling to take responsibility--even after acknowledging their error. This company trespassed multiple times, failed to correct their mistakes, caused additional damage, and then treated us with disrespect when we asked for accountability. Avoid at all costs and go with a reputable and respectful company *Only solution Steven would agree on was to give us a new jet if we showed up to the store with a part number. He said he was not offering any services.

I booked them to come to open my pool right after I closed last fall. I was in contact with them as they had replaced the liner right before closing the pool. I was quoted a price of $265 to open the pool and I was ASSURED I would be showed how to use the equipment and the pool "would be beautiful". They came yesterday and "opening" the pool consisted of taking the cover off throwing in shock and algeacite turning on the motor and leaving. NO CLEANING of the pool or the equipment was done. When I told him I was a first time pool owner and asked questions, the service man told me he was alloted 20 minutes for the service call and had no time to show me anything or answer my questions. He told me they do not "clean" pools or the equipment, that was my responsibility? He then handed me a bill for $300. I called the office quite upset as I have no pool company other than them and I have no idea how to clean a pool much less the equipment. I was told they have only one person that "cleans" pools and he is booked solid for the season. I explained I booked my appointent LAST SEPTEMBER and at that time they knew I was the new owner of the property and needed full service. I also advised her the price I was quoted by Michelle was $265 not $300. She was very nasty and told me they don't clean pools and they had "opened" the pool. I again reiterated I was a new owner and had no idea how to maintain a pool. She became very irritated with me and told me to tear up their bill and "go your way and we will go our way". She then hung up on me. I called multiple pool companies trying to schedule service and AS EXPECTED they are all booked for the summer. The search for a pool company continues... Thanks Holiday Pools for the mess you left me. If I knew what you consider a pool "opening" I would have found another company last September and not depended on Holiday Pools. If I could rate you a zero I would!

He apologized, said he didn't want to disappoint me, and called his father, a retired contractor over to help. His father spent weeks on what should have been a few day project. Turns out, he'd never did this particular type of job either. I never asked this contractor for references because he'd been my trusted pool guy for a while. I highly recommend asking for referrals whether or not you have a relationship with that individual. You may well be the next guinea pig. Fake it til you make it is what they call this maneuver.
