We had an absolutely AMAZING, unforgettable time with our guide, Drew!!! Among our experiences in Maui, our time with Drew is at the top of the list. Drew personally represents EVERYTHING anyone could ever want in a chaperone into uncharted waters. (No pun intended. ) He's kind, comical, experienced, thoughtful, self-deprecating, skilled, charismatic, competent, sincere, observant, compassionate, reassuring, uplifting, fun, approachable....our list could go on & on. Drew guided our family of first-time SNUBA divers every step of the way; from learning how to breathe underwater to playing on the ocean's floor together, Drew chaperoned us in seeing many wonders, including an eel, turtles, gorgeous coral and eye-popping tropical fish of course. As soon as our tour was over, my family wanted to go all over again. By the time we were bidding Drew goodbye, we felt so bonded with him, after such an unforgettable experience, that we've encouraged him to come visit us when/if he ever finds himself in Oregon. We hope he does! Thank you again Drew. We can't wait to join you in the water again sometime!

Snuba with Brian was awesome! Brian paid special attention to our son and ensured he had a great experience. The photos he shared of the dive were an unexpected bonus, and the Kaanapali location was perfect - lots of reef life and a couple of turtles.

My family and I had an amazing experience! My husband and I did Snuba once before but our kids never had. They are 10, 11 and 13 and had the most amazing time. The instructors were incredibly funny, thorough and fun to have guide us. They led us to lots of coral reef life and a huge turtle. This was the highlight of our trip and I highly recommend. I believe they said kids 6 and up can do this. You can go down as far as you want, which is about 20 feet, or stay closer to the top. It's perfect for everyone! And they take pics and are able to download right after to your phone. A huge bonus!

5+ stars for this experience! Brian, Drew & Makeena did an amazing job with our group of 8. They were very professional and at the same time let group have fun. Our group ranged in age from 65-10yrs.. the 10 year old had the time of his life. 100% recommend this and would do it again!

Drew was Rad! It was just me (Alex) and him the whole time, so we went really far and saw tons of neat things! I felt completely comfortable the whole time, and Drew kept it exciting! Can't wait to dive again!

Highly recommend!! Brian and Drew were fantastic. We were a group with young kids and a senior, all with different levels of experience in the water. We felt extremely safe during our snuba swim and our 6 year old twins got to do a modified snuba. They kids loved it! I searched around to find the perfect snuba experience and I'm glad we went with shoreline snuba. Mahalo!

Shoreline Snuba was the best Maui experience we had for both bang for our buck and so many unexpected surprises. Our guide Drew was so fun and easy to get along with... he even remembered taking our niece and nephew from 3 years ago. He gave us so many tips to really enjoy our time. And he took so many pictures of our family under water (those alone would have been worth the price). We swam over the reef outside of the Westin Timeshare Resort and had the same experience as those who paid so much more for scuba. And we went from the parking lot to underwater in like 20 minutes with so little effort or prep needed... they had everything covered... even offered us full wetsuits (we didn't need them). Highly recommend Snuba and you only need to start with shoreline and ask for Drew or his Uncle.

This was easily the highlight of our vacation in Maui!! Leading up to our snuba excursion, we received up to date emails and texts regarding our appointment. Then on the day of snuba, we met up with our instructor Drew right next to our resort. If you are lucky enough to get Drew as your instructor you will not be disappointed!! He was extremely professional, but also made us feel at ease with our first time trying snuba, giving us directions, pointing out eels and sights, and taking pics of us during our time underwater. Shoreline is a definite recommend if you are looking for once in a lifetime activities in Maui. Thank you Shoreline and Drew!!

The best part of our Maui trip! We had such a blast! The snuba dive was awesome. Drew made us feel so comfortable for our first snuba dive. It was great because it was our own private dive. I loved that he had gone out before our dive to scope out the reef to find the best spot. We were able to swim with the amazing sea turtles. It was so memorable. I highly recommend the snuba dive with shoreline snuba!!!

Excellent experience. 10 out of 10. Drew did an outstanding orientation and dive. I would highly recommend Shoreline Snuba. The sight was clear and beautiful and Drew made the entire experience easy going and successful for our entire family! It was an amazing experience Aloha

One of the best experiences we've ever had!!! Drew, our guide, was best in class. He was so informative, kind, and provided an incredible time. My husband and I checked in way too early (we were excited!!) and Drew was there to greet us with a smile. He took time to educate us on snuba and ensure we felt comfortable prior to walking down to the water. Once in the water he checked on us multiple times and led us through the beautiful coral garden. Drew pointed out amazing marine life and took photos of us while snubaing. We will cherish these photos forever. While we were out, we saw a spotted eagle ray, scorpion fish, eels, turtles, and countless fish. It was an underwater paradise. We rented an extra tank so we could be out longer, and highly recommend it, we were able to stay out for about an hour and explore all over the reef. Thank you Drew for such an incredible experience!! Definitely book with Drew next time you're in Maui!

We had an outstanding experience with Extended Horizons, led by divemaster Gustavo "Gu." Recent…read moreMaui rains reduced visibility at many sites, but Gu adjusted the plan and guided us to the best possible conditions. That made the difference. These were refresher dives for our group, and Gu handled them exactly right. He quickly assessed each diver's experience, our small group included both newer divers with fewer than ten dives and others with more than 70, but with time since our last dives. His review of fundamentals, safety, and buoyancy control was clear and structured, without slowing the group down. He also reinforced reef etiquette and respect for marine life in a practical, no-nonsense way. This team takes responsible diving seriously. What stood out most was Gu's site knowledge. Not just which sites to choose, but where to position within each site to maximize visibility and encounters. He set expectations on what we might see, spotted eagle rays, green sea turtles, white-tip reef sharks, snowflake moray eels, and more, and then delivered. We saw all of it. With two divers carrying cameras, he was mindful of positioning, and I came away with great shots of eagle rays, reef sharks, and multiple turtles. The highlight was a turtle cleaning station at Mala Wharf, with six turtles active at once and eagle rays passing nearby. It was one of those rare dives where something meaningful is happening in every direction. The attached photo captures that exact moment, multiple turtles gathered at the cleaning station with eagle rays moving through the scene. Operationally, everything was tight: * Strong safety culture and clear briefings * Efficient check-in and gear handling * Well-maintained equipment * Good pacing, no rushing, no wasted time * Attentive in-water supervision without being intrusive * Effective group management for mixed experience levels If you are traveling to Hawaii with limited dive windows, this is the operator you want. They remove uncertainty and maximize your chances of a memorable dive. Highly recommend Extended Horizons, and Gu as your guide.

Phenomenal Dive Experience with Extended Horizons!…read more We booked our scuba diving excursion through The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, and could not have been happier with the experience provided by Extended Horizons. As newly certified divers, we were a bit nervous going into our first post-certification dive, but our Dive Master, Michael, made it an absolutely incredible and comfortable experience from start to finish. Michael was punctual, professional, and incredibly charismatic. He struck the perfect balance between being instructive and encouraging, offering helpful tips to improve our diving without ever making us feel overwhelmed. He really listened to what we were hoping to get out of the dive and tailored the experience to match. We did a two-tank shore entry dive, and it was spectacular. Michael guided us to some amazing marine life--green sea turtles, moray eels, cone snails, sea urchins, and even three stunning green lion fish. His deep knowledge and passion for the ocean were clear throughout, and it made the entire dive even more memorable. We can't recommend Extended Horizons enough--especially if you're a beginner looking for a patient, supportive, and fun dive guide. Thank you, Michael! We'll definitely be back.

This was my first time diving post-Covid and I couldn't have sailed with a better crew. Matt, Jess,…read moreJT, Brian, and our captain Brad were all amazing people to dive with. Matt and Brian were both amazing divemasters, both very accommodating to our entire party of divers. Matt will ask you what your favorite song is; be prepared to have one picked out, because you may hear it come on when some whales breach nearby (like what happened to me). Brad is the quintessential captain; he makes his boat so inviting you just want to stay there and hang out even after your dive is over. I was able to dive Lanai Cathedrals and Hammerhead. The former is a must for divers of any skill level for anyone that hasn't experienced it. Taking in the sights of shafts of light in super clear waters inside a coral enclosure is akin to a religious experience, so the cathedral moniker is fitting. The latter is very much a dive for advanced divers with a lot of dives logged under their belt. Dive conditions are notoriously windy/choppy/heavy currents, however we were fortunate that none of those were true. Absolutely perfect conditions, but even then you should be prepared for a potentially strenuous drift dive. It's off-season for Hammerheads, so we didn't see any, but this wasn't at all a problem. There's no denying how amazing it is to dive along a sheer coral cliff face like The Finger and some dolphins came to say hi on our dive. Diving off Moloka'i (where the Hammerhead dive is) is an absolute privilege no matter what sealife you encounter. Brian, our divemaster for Hammerhead, is exactly the kind of divemaster you want for an advanced dive by making sure everyone's head is in the right space: if you uphold your end of the bargain in taking this seriously by paying attention to your oxygen and no deco (and in an advanced dive, the quality of everyone's experience truly hinges on everyone taking every element of the dive very seriously), you'll have exactly the kind of laid back experience you came for. Where Lahaina Divers went above and beyond is they accommodated a family emergency that forced me to cancel my other two dives on VERY short notice, no questions asked (note to any travelers staying in the Napili area: the closest emergency room is a 45 minute drive away!). Thankfully all is well, but I absolutely needed to be available and couldn't make those dives, and it was no sweat at all to get that situated. I left some camera gear on the boat for my second dive, and Brad reached out to let me know I could pick it up at the shop. After everything that happened after that second dive, gotta tell ya, you really appreciate that level of care and consideration. Sure enough, I popped in later on and got my gear easy peasy. It's been 10 years since I've set foot on Maui and thus dove with Lahaina Divers, but fingers crossed I'll be back much sooner (and can keep all my reservations booked!).

Nice crew, they were all super friendly. We dove the cathedrals which were cool, not anything super…read morecool. The corals were mostly bleached, the fish were in an abundance but it was obvious the corals are hurting. No shark, or big fish in views. Being in the middle of whale season I was hoping to at least hear them underwater but no luck. On the way to and from the dive site we saw a bunch of whales which was a huge bonus. I have dove the big island and think it's so much better but that's just my 2 cents.
