I wanted to start anew. But I am learning you can never leave behind what is in the past. But how do you also try to fix things in the future? I was driving in my Kia Soul trying to find answers. I ended up in Bayonne and Massa's. A bartender named Mike poured me a Sammy and let me sit in silence. I can't change the past. I can control the future. All I can do is live in the now, and that is the best way for me to help my estranged twin sons. The crowd is different depending on when you go in. One day it could be a bunch of bikers, then a troop of retired Port Authority officers, and then the next day a college age crowd. It's a roll of the dice.... Overall, a great neighborhood bar that I always enjoy.
