Torn between giving it 3 or 4 stars so will give them the benefit of the doubt. Memorial Day and not sure what was going to be open for lunch. Did a little research before we left the house and determined Showmars was open. Turned out most places were open so we had a lot of options. We had dined here before but not sure why I did not write a review at that time. Showmars originated in Charlotte and is now a regional chain of Greek/Southern/American Cuisine. It's got something for everyone's taste. Walked in a placed out order at the front counter. Paid for it and they gave us a tent and our beverages and we went to find out seat. Word of warning, If it's breezy outside, do not take the booth next to the door to outside patio dining area. Every time someone enters or leaves, that breeze is magnified and funneled onto your table and anything loose will go flying. I had the Atlantic Fish Sandwich with tartar sauce on the side. Nice and flaky, very tasty with good texture and not oily. My unsweetened tea was perfect. My wife had the scoop or cup of Chicken Salad along with Fruit. She enjoyed it and the fruit was much more than the Crenshaw or Cantaloupe Melon fillers you often get. This was a real side of Fruit. Generally self serve although the manager and another staff person did check in on us to see if there was anything we needed. Very clean and when I went to the mens room, it was spotless. Prices are fair and the food is very good. Next time I'm going to try one of their Greek offerings.

Gryo "wrap" was pretty decent. The fries were slightly better.

Fast food Greek Style! Who would have thought. Pretty fairly well done and the food was solid. Nothing great, but well done and the staff were good & attentive. The shake machine was on the fritz, but I think that is par for the course of fast food joints. Had the Gyro wrap (not sure what was a wrap other than marketing) that had a good pita and fair protein. The baklava was absolutely not worth the purchase, but it was gooey & sweet - so it had that. Would stop again, but not super high expectations.

Food is always great, even when requesting changes to menu items or combos, and the customer service is always on point.

Not the best food option in Denver. Okay for fast food, but nothing more. Watch out for hair in the chicken salad; way gross.

I kinda felt like I was back in either Santorini or Mykonos Greece without the long flight LOL…read more We've been twice now, and it's officially earned a spot in our regular rotation. The interior is beautiful, but the real star is the food (and our waitress, who we were fortunate enough to get both times--she's fantastic!). Plumb forgot her name twice now The portions are so generous that the hubby and I have started a "share everything" policy just so we can sample more of the menu. The Lamb Chops are sizeable, perfectly seasoned, and actually taste like they would in Greece. The Hummus. It's rustic, flavorful, and took me straight back to the streets of Greece. Pair that with their juicy Greek Meatballs, and you're in possible food coma! They also boast an all-Greek wine list, which is a nice authentic touch. While they have a great patio, it's been a bit too chilly for us lately, but the indoor vibe is just as lovely. Authentic flavor, great service, and a wine list that actually knows its grapes--definitely a 5-star gem in the Queen City!

It is centrally located with other business around within walking distance. There are paid and affordable street parking spots nearby.  The menu offers a good variety of options. In addition to the regular menu, they offer a lunch menu with two combo options. That is exactly what I went for today. I got the Spicy Dip & Pita and the Chicken Pita. I also got an Arold Palmer to drink. Everything was delicious! I mean, it was really delicious.    The price was pretty affordable, the service was professional and friendly, all common areas, including the restrooms, were clean. Overall, 100% recommended and can't wait to come back!

A Turkish gem in Gastonia that turned a first date into something memorable…read more I'll start with the room. Constantine's pulls off that rare balance -- relaxed but elevated. Warm lighting, Turkish textiles, the kind of space that lets you exhale the second you sit down. We stayed nearly until closing and never once felt rushed. Now the food. I came hungry and curious, and the kitchen delivered. Imam Bayildi (appetizer) -- This is the dish that tells you whether a Turkish kitchen knows what it's doing, and theirs does. Eggplant braised until silky, sweet with onion and tomato, finished in good olive oil. No bitterness, no greasiness -- just that slow-cooked depth where you can taste the patience. I could've made this a main and walked out happy. Karniyarik (my main) -- The heartier cousin of the Imam Bayildi: eggplant stuffed with seasoned ground meat, tomato, and peppers. Rich, savory, comforting. The meat was well-spiced without drowning out the vegetable, and the whole thing held together beautifully. This is honest, soulful cooking. Vegetables in Casserole (her plate) -- Fresh, clean, well-seasoned. You could taste that the vegetables were cooked with intention, not just thrown together. A vegetarian dish that actually respects the vegetables. The bread service -- Two rounds of hot flatbread with their signature dipping sauce, and yes, we asked for the second round. Pillowy, fresh, clearly made in-house. The sauce had real character. This alone tells you they care about the details. Turkish black tea -- The proper way to end a Turkish meal. Strong, aromatic, served the traditional way. A perfect close. Service was attentive without hovering -- they let us have our evening. Health score is spotless, portions are generous, and everything tasted fresh and made-to-order. If you're in Gaston County and want authentic Turkish food done with care -- kebabs, mezes, eggplant dishes that taste like somebody's grandmother is back in that kitchen -- this is the spot. Whether it's a family dinner or a date night, Constantine's brings the flavor and the atmosphere. We'll absolutely be back. -- Sylvester A.
