It's been a few years since I last dined at a Showmars. This is fast casual "Greek" with gyros, burgers and such. As she's pescatarian, Mrs. K. was able to find something on the menu - the salmon platter and it was a good portion. Big piece of salmon on a pile of rice with a Greek salad on the side and some pitas with a small pot of tzatziki. I chose the double patty burger with everything. Other than too much mustard, it was tasty and cooked properly. The fries with it were excellent, done to a crispy texture and perfect for scooping up ketchup. Friendly service at the counter and the dining room attendant checked in on us, refilled drinks and brought a box to take our leftovers. Great service. This was our first Showmars experience, and we will definitely be back! We came to this location because it was Sunday, and many of the other Showmars were closed. But this one is open for lunch on Sundays, which is so great! We ordered at the counter, took our order number to our table, and our food was brought out to us super quickly by very friendly staff! Customer service was truly 10/10. The food is both affordable and tasty. My gyro platter came with Greek salad, pita, crinkle fries, a nice portion of gyro, and tzatziki. I like that you can create your own pita sandwich or just eat the elements separately. The pita is so soft - I love the texture and how it brings everything together. This was a lot of food for me, and I brought home leftovers. My husband got the original pita burger (single patty), and the hamburger, American cheese, and tzatziki in the pita work surprisingly well together! He really enjoyed this. The menu is large - and there's a drive-through - so it will be very convenient to keep trying more! read more

I was impressed with this place because the seafood was wild/sustainably caught yet the price was still reasonable. My husband ordered the calabash shrimp which was the only seafood he ate as a kid and liked it too. I ordered the flounder, also good. I do wish they had more grilled options, though I liked that it came with 2 sides. The service was great too, very friendly. Great food, especially if you're craving seafood. Parking is easy as it's in a shopping center. read more

Excellent Showmars location by far ! Kind , courtesy and always tasty... Husbands always gets Santorini plater and I "waffle" back and forth between fish and gyro. I had no idea this place existed, so when I saw it, I decided to give it a try. When I walked in, I was greeted and treated with kindness. The restaurant itself had a decent presentation. They had plenty of regular booths, including high chair booths. I decided to order the fried flounder combo with fries and an Arnold Palmer. When my food arrived, the young lady who brought it to me was very kind and professional. The fish was delicious, and their fries were good and not overly seasoned. I definitely want to go back and try some of their other food choices for my dining pleasure. I recommend you give them a try. read more

I went back to the Showmars in Pineville tonight because I had a craving for the All-American Pita burger. The staff at this particular location always blows me away. They are younger, and they have a great energy and make the restaurant seem really warm welcoming and fun. The food was fast, and boy was it delicious tonight. Perfect comfort food on a cold winter night. I wanted to give the staff working tonight (January 20) a special shout out for their excellent service. The staff behind the counter told me that they were not rewarded or incentivized for customer compliments. I really think that is a shame and that Showmars should reward these employees for their excellent customer service. They deserve it. read more

I stand by my first Review ! Been a fan of Showmars for years! The food is delicious and choices are great for what I consider a fast food restaurant. You can choose burgers or fish and everything in between! Whether it's Flounder - grilled Salmon- salads (so many to choose) or delicious cactus chili there's something for everyone. The prices are affordable and the options are plentiful. Be sure to try the shakes (strawberry is delicious with real strawberries) and the desserts... oh the desserts... baklava is so good but now there's baklava cheesecake. I wish I could have posted a pic but it didn't last long enough! Once it hit the table .... it was gone ! Maybe next time ... but trust me it's delicious! This is one of the best Showmars. Staff is very nice and they are patient with you. The food is always correct!!!!! That is hard to get these days, especially from us picky eaters. Showmars is one of my favorite local Charlotte restaurants and this location never disappoints. I've had many things on the menu but it's a toss up between the gyro or the fish sandwich. (and of course get a side of their amazing home made onion rings) I wash it down with some delicious sweet tea. I never know if I should tip or not but sometimes they have staff come to the table and ask if you want a refill so I usually leave a couple of bucks as a tip. Excellent service and food at this location. Each location can be hit or miss but this one is a winner. They have a large dining area with enough booths to go around. They are a Greek owned restaurant with several Greek items on the menu including amazing gyros and pitas with DELICIOUS tzazitki sauce. (forgive me, I know that's got to be misspelled.) I know at one point they had baklava you could order for dessert. They have a wide variety of food that would please everyone. They have everything from burgers to salad and seafood in between. I believe they are closed on Sundays so be aware of that! read more

I'm 54 years old and was in the area only 40 minutes away so I figured while I was right next to Showmars I'd give it a whirl. I was instantly greeted with phenomenal customer service (from Laila I believe it is), despite what must have been quite the confusing order haha (and I'm still new to the apple pay). As a 54 year old grandmother, I can't say I'm the easiest customer but eating here was certainly less stressful than taking care of the rugrats . my husband Rockolas also loves it here so we might come back for my big 55 (since im 54 LOL)! read more

Messed up an order big time. Left out 3 things, and left everything on the sandwiches that we asked to be taken off.

So my wife wanted to order food online from Showmars and I refused to pick it up. So we drove over to the Showmars on Park Cedar Dr. I was surprised to see that they have vegan options. So I ordered the Beyond burger pita. Looking back it was a bad decision. I should've gotten a salad. The Beyond Burger brought back childhood memories of charcoal soaked in lighter fluid and the burgers that transferred that taste to themselves. The counter people also looked at me strangely when I ordered unsweetened tea and a cup of cactus chili. The chili was very sweet which was unusual. My wife gave me her coleslaw to at least give me a bit of nourishment. I never did find the hummus and had the bad feeling that it was inside the burger. All in all I was lucky to get home before the concoction forced itself from my body. read more

Disappointed. This used to be a favorite for our family, but the quality of the food has gone downhill over the years. The drive through and carry out are open, but no dining room now b/c of Covid, so you would think the focus on the food might translate to preparation and taste. Not the case. Purchased lunch in the drive through this afternoon, so no opportunity to check it out before we left. Located in a shopping area with plenty of parking. Very nice looking inside and out. It has a chain restaurant feel when you go in. You order at a counter then someone brings your food out. The menu is pretty large with sandwiches salads and some fish. I had the flounder plate. It was out in a reasonable time. The fish wasn't greasy. Well cooked. So were the fries. The portion size wasn't huge but enough. The hush puppies were awesome. Burgers are on the small side. Be sure to get a double if you come here hungry. The service was good. No problems. Prices were a little on the expensive side for what it is. Over all I would return for the fish. read more

This place was recently remodeled inside and out, and looks fantastic! Digital signage, open airy feel, new booths/tables and wall decor- they seem to have went all out. Food is super consistent and pretty fast. I recommend anything, absolutely anything but with pita sauce. Seriously their pitas are soft, fries perfectly crispy, and veggies are always crisp and fresh. If I am eating at Showmars, this is the location I will drive out of my way for. read more

I haven't eaten at the other locations but I always order ahead online at this one or dine in when I'm in the area. Delicious and fresh food served up fast. The staff have always been helpful and service oriented (asking can they get me anything else or do I need something or how was the meal when dining in). Like all Showmars locations, this one has good food and excellent service, however, the dining area is roomier than most. It is somewhat hard to find though, located off Park Rd in Pineville behind a car wash. Grabbed a gyro here on Saturday evening with no wait. Enjoyed it and the Tar Heels' game on one of the six mounted HD TVs. read more

I was visiting my family in Charlotte NC and wanted to go to Showmars since I arrived in NC a week before. Plus my Sisters and Dad were telling me the food there was pretty good. We finally went to Showmars yesterday. My Sister and I ordered the Special fish sandwich. We did not get the coleslaw on our sandwich. My Sister had it in the side. I got a side of fries. Tartar sauce on the side also. The fish sandwich is good with lots of tartar sauce which I like. The sandwich does not come with lettuce, tomato, nothing. I asked for lettuce on the side. The sandwich was very good though. The fries were good. I really like the ketchup..I have no idea what the brand is. My Sister had onion rings, they were ok, I've had better. My other Sister had a piece of fish and coleslaw. The fish was very thin. My Dad had the cactus chili. He liked it. I thought it was good but very sweet tasting. One of my little Nieces had the Greek salad, she liked it. Big salads. My other Niece had two chicken strips and a side salad. Prices are ok. But start adding fries and a drink and it adds up quickly. I will definitely go to Showmars again when I'm in Charlotte. read more

I stopped here for lunch and was greeted and able to order right away. The staff was friendly and quick. There was only a small line that moved fast. The store was clean and the man who brought out food was super attentive. I ordered the crispy chicken BLT salad with ranch. It was huge!!! I had plenty leftover for dinner, which was great. The salad was perfect! Crispy, flavorful, with plenty of extra touches: egg, cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, and onions. I will have this again sometime soon! read more

I placed an online order that was to be ready for pickup at 6:31 pm. I arrived at 6:28 and sent a text to 704-703-1892 as instructed on the sign in front of me. I texted my name and that I was in spot 2 at 6:28am. No one ever brought my food to me. I have an injured left foot that I am suppose to have limited weight bearing on at this time. I saw that the line was long inside and the line was also long around the building in the drive thru. I called several times and no one would answer the phone. The lady that pulled up beside of me in spot 1 did the same as me and she also could not get anyone to answer the phone and no one brought her food out to her either. We both finally headed to the long line at the drive thru to go to pickup window to pick up our food that we were promised to be brought to our cars 40 minutes prior but no one ever came! By the time I got our food home, I ate some of mine but the food was not fresh and the salad dressing was not cold, but iffy if it was safe to still use it lukewarm. It is ridiculous I had to wait so long and then be given expensive food that was not edible!!!! I should be paid for both salads and gas that I burned in my car while sitting in my car for 45 minutes!! Update: Showmar's called me and apologized stating they were grossly understaffed this evening and refunded me fully for both meals so I am changing rating from 1 to 4. read more

I really like this place!!! The food is cooked to order and everything I've tried has been delicious! The pita bread is always soft and fresh warmed to perfection with whatever topping you choose burgers, chicken breast or make it into a gyro! Any choice is super delicious! The seafood is also delicious! The shrimp are crispy and the fish sandwich is one of the best I've ever had, with the crinkle cut fries or onion rings and you have a delicious meal! Best part of all...they are not expensive at all for less than $10 you can get a very filling hot meal...which in my book is not bad at all! The staff here are all super friendly and the manager walks around asks about your day and even refills your drinks! This place is definitely going to the top of my YUMMY list! read more

Holy nice Showmizzle Batman! I stopped by this Showmars tonight while waiting for a prescription to be filled at CVS next store. When I drove up, I was taken aback because I've never seen a Showmars with a drive thru--very nice! It was hopping for a Tuesday night in south Charlotte. The interior is very soothing with orange hues and modern light fixtures. They have the same menu as all the other Showmars plus the specials of the day which you can't go wrong with a cheeseburger, fries and a drink for under $7. Lots of big booths in this place so seating wasn't an issue at all and they have a few flat screen tv's strategically placed around the restaurant so I was able to watch some ESPN while having my Super C. Score! Pun intended. Pepsi only up in this piece....I miss the days when Showmars served Coke. Super friendly employees as well, I didn't even have to get up to get a box or a refill! read more

A great local chain with excellent food for the price! I really like them as it's a place where I can go to get my Greek fix. It's similar food to what you would find in a Greek diner but the decor is modern. If you eat in you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Their Gyros are very good. You can get white or whole wheat pitas. The fried fish sandwich and platter are great as well. They have a selection of soups every day. read more

I've been to this location multiple times. My orders are usually correct and good. During yesterday's visit I thought I'd branch out from my normal salad and get a mediterranean veggie entree. It was described as: with choice of greek or side salad, grilled zuccini, squash, slices of portobello mushrooms, onions, peppers, side of rice pilaf and hummus & pita bread. I ordered it with a greek salad and subbed fries for rice. The fries came in a separate box, but were lukewarm, at best. The salad was not fresh and I could not eat it. The grilled veggies were overly salted and literally (I don't say literally lightly) dripping with butter or grease. The "sliced portobellos" (which I was looking forward to) appeared to be just plain old canned (!) mushrooms. Sauteed, canned, greasy, salty mushrooms are not what was advertised and they were not appetizing. The hummus was good but the pita bread had been placed on top of the veggies, and was also dripping with salty grease. It was an unfortunate meal and a total miss from a normally good Showmars. I think I'll stick to salads from now on. read more

Been wanting to try this Showmars for a while. My co-worker said it was the best in town. I like how it looks inside, but the food is very average. I will say that the employee that took my order was so unbelievably positive and happy that she really cheered me up after a depressing week. My fish sandwich was somewhat sloppily prepared and the fries were straight instead of the normal crinkly kind. I asked what was wrong with their crinkle cutter, but nobody knew what that was. read more

Never a bad choice to stop in at a Showmars. This location was great and very busy! Not to worry, they are quick to serve and keep the line moving very well. Love the salads they have and tried the ham and turkey salad. It was fantastic and the warm pita bread that comes with it is a great compliment.
