The drinks are good and the view is fantastic! The food isn't anything special. I ordered the ahi tuna burger. Saddest sandwich I've ever seen. Hardly any sauce on the fish, one tiny sliver of avocado, and the fish barely fit the huge bun they used. The majority of my foray few bites were just bread. If you order the "jumbo" shrimp cocktail you'll only get 4 shrimp for $16...you have been warned. Star of the show were the French fries. Fish tacos where okay at best. definitely a lunch place not so much dinner and sit outside if you can, not the best cocktails stick to beer/wine there. Service was fast and easy. read more

This place is located beachside. We were excited to eat by the ocean, the view was beautiful! It's in a resort, so not free standing. We felt like the menu had a great variety of sandwiches, salads, soups, raw bar, entrees, flatbreads and etc. Our friends ordered Conch Chowder and Pesto flatbread, both looked good. I ordered a Cuban Sandwich for lunch, because that's what I was in the mood for and hubby ordered the Gondola Sandwich which was very good too! It had SLICED SALAMI, SMOKED HAM AND CAPICOLA ON AN ITALIAN ROLL WITH LETTUCE, TOMATO, PEPPERONCINIS, ONION AND PROVOLONE CHEESE. Everything was tasty and cooked well. There was plenty of parking and place was fairly busy for Christmas Eve, not packed. They were closing early that day at 3pm. Absolutely amazing time! From the meet and greet to Candice our server who was fantastic! Not to mention the view! Candice recommended the best cocktails (Rum bucket) and appetizers (Calamari and Thai shrimp) as well as the entree (Mahi tacos). I love asking the locals where to eat and this was recommended by one. He promised great seafood and a good price and he was correct. Shuckers is housed in a resort that is currently under restoration so it's kind of an odd entry but once we got over that we found the check-in and were lead outside to the covered patio. The one glitch was the Hostesses slight attitude when we requested a seat next to the railing over looking the water, where another group was leaving. She seemed a little put out that she would have to tear herself away from doing nothing at the podium while we patiently waited for the table to be cleared so we could sit. Once seated our Awesome Server Kevin came over and made some menu suggestions and took our drink order and then went off to fill them while we looked over the extensive menu. We settled on a few appetizers, Conch fritters, onion rings and Fish spread and then our entrees. I choose by Kevin's recommendation the Mahi Fish Tacos. Our appetizers were delivered rather quickly and we dove in. The Conch were ok, they weren't any better or worse than any I had had before, the same went for the Fish Spread. The onion rings were fantastic. My mom finished them off in no time, since they are a favorite of hers. Were entrees arrived we all silently munched away and enjoyed the waves crash along the shore and the fantastic music coming from the live band. By the time we were finished we were to full for dessert, but all in all a successful meal. We celebrated our friends birthday with his family and friends in a secluded private room with approximately fifty guests. The meal was a delicious and memorable buffet that included raw oysters,salad, rolls and other sides. The main meal was served buffet style and was the best I've had since moving to the area. We had an unlimited choice of chicken piccata, rare sliced to order prime beef, and a delicious broiled fish. All tasted fresh, hot, and served to each guest. The sides included sliced fresh grilled vegetables and seasoned potatoes. The open bar included all liquor and soft drinks. The service was top notch, and the manager was there to assure customers were well taken care of. If you are looking for a restaurant that serves excellent food and provides five star service, give Shuckers a try for a excellent meal or banquet, you won't be disappointed. read more

This is simply an awesome place, the views of the ocean and the way they take care of customers is exceptional. We have been to Shuckers multiple times over the years. Thankfully, this establishment was able to endue COVID and continue to serve great food and drink. This time, we decided to stay at the inside bar where Bobby/George and Kamryn took care of everyone. Never had to wait for a refill, Bobby has served us before over the years. Just have to give a shout out to both for making the visit even better. They used to have one good sandwich a few years back on their lunch menu. It was a southwest chicken sandwich or something like that. It was our first visit to Shuckers. We ordered the Asian Chicken Salad and Margarita Pizza with grilled chicken. The salad had plenty of ingredients, delicious grilled chicken and was very fresh, the dressing was very tasty. The Pizza was hearty and delicious. This was an alright place to come. The best part being the view and the rum runners! It was such a beautiful day and so we sat outside to enjoy the view of the beach right out front. They had a special for $4 (half off) rum runners so we all ordered one and they were pretty good. We also ordered a dozen oysters, the fried shrimp platter and the ahi burger. The oysters weren't really very good. Not a lot of flavor and they didn't seem very fresh. One was not properly cleaned and it left some grittiness in my mouth. The shrimp platter was good. Pretty average, which is not bad and we enjoyed it but it wasn't anything amazing. Our friend got the ahi burger which he did enjoy. The server was really great however. He was attentive and super accommodating. He even got us some koozies for our drinks after our friend asked! I think if we were back in the area we might come back, just maybe skip the oysters. read more

Super casual laid back restaurant. They also have live bands. Eating on the patio is the best. The crashing waves and ocean breeze are just fantastic. The inside seating isn't terrible, but it's not like sitting outside. You can order and walk out on the beach a bit if you'd like... there's a staircase that leads right out onto the beach from the patio. The menu is ginormous. There's something for everyone. Pastas.
