Been here twice, once on a Saturday night, and once on a Sunday night. Saturday was packed, our waitress was very good, the wait was reasonable even with the crowd,,food was very good, and served hot. Service was excellent! Sunday not so good, food was excellent, but the service was not. Restaurant was not so crowded, but waiter wasn't attentive, and had to remind to bring rolls, more water,,etc... seemed like he was preoccupied with other staff members. As this was a holiday weekend we were a large group, 28. First let me say the service was great, the staff was able to keep up with all of us. Although I did not see everyones orders, there were a few. poke bowl, a couple of clam chowders, oysters, salmon, scallops, even some turf- a burger and ribs. oh this place is so fun and right on the beach. Food is great, drinks are cold and the band is ROCKING!!! Its a fun beachside spot where you can dine inside in your nice weekend outfit or with sandy toes in the patio. It was lively and had everything you need to have a great lunch. The inside is very different from the outside so choose what you are in the mood for. I did go for breakfast the next day and it was eh-ok thus the 4 starts... the buffet had options but the omelet guy clearly did not know how to make an omelet. I will go back though! read more

My daughter and I were able to get a wonderful table overlooking the ocean. We had my favorite wait lady, Christina... Knew the the potential was great! We started with the steamed clams. A great choice as they tasted fresh and flavorful.. My daughter had the lobster roll which was packed with lobster meat; and not of heavy mayo. My choice was the fried grouper rueben. As I have had this when I visit: I knew that this never disappoints.. Their French fries are wonderful!' For dessert we shared a mudslide.. It was frosty and delicious within the generous glass laced with chocolate; and topped by whipped cream and a cherry.. This restaurant is in a hotel with indoor seating and an outdoor patio-Great location on the beach! Good service and a variety of dishes! First I will say that the food we orders (flatbread pizza & oysters) were very tasty. They well well prepared and worth a five rating. However my draught beer wasn't real cold and my wife's Bloody Mary seemed to lack vodka. Service was erratic and slow. Maybe they didn't have enough help? My overall rating is a three. Shuckers is probably a better spot for some happy hour fun. It's a crowded spot located right on the beach with both indoor and outdoor seating. The mixed drinks have an ample amount of alcohol. We were there when it was dark and missed what I'm sure is a great view. My family shared clams on the half shell and they agreed most were good - a couple of them had a bit of sand in them, which is to be expected. Entrees were eh. Broiled scallops were quite small so my dad was still hungry. He ordered rice as a side and got potatoes instead. Mahi mahi was over-cooked. "Drier than dry chicken" is how my daughter described it. Mussels steamed in with butter and lemon in white wine sauce with andouille sausage were good. Stuffed shrimp was very good. It's served in a cream sauce which was rich and quite filling. The best part about the restaurant/bar is the view of the ocean. The outdoor area is situated right on the beach. I went on a Saturday for dinner and a steel drum band was playing. It was happy background music. I was happy to discover that their Vegan & Vegetarian items were clearly labeled on the menu. They serve a Beyond burger as well as Beyond tacos. There is a vegetarian Greek wrap that can be made Vegan. There is Guacamole along with a few other items that are vegetarian and can be made vegan. read more

All I can say is WOW. Incredible atmosphere, food, drinks, service. I got the Mahi Tacos and the Mango Tango drink, they did not upset! Sat outside right next to the ocean and listened to the ocean waves. My Dad got the Crispy grouper and said it lacked flavor, my Brother got the Crispy Grouper Ruben and said the same thing. I've been to Shucker's in Jensen Beach 5 times. Jan '22 food was good. Mar '22 not so much. The bread must have been toasted on a grill heavily coated in oil. Horrible. I could only eat half my Grouper Reuben - which is really a "Rachael" since it had coleslaw instead of sauerkraut. The food is mediocre barfood, but convenient. Too many options to return. read more

Nice happy hour prices on drinks, but even the regular prices are reasonable, compared to Miami/Broward. Gorgeous beach vibe. Absolutely terrific in every way. r Only tiny flaw that lost a star for us was the allowed smoking on patio. The open sea air is so wonderful, then we get hit with cigarette smoke from bar patrons and nearby tables that ruined the experience a bit- especially while dining. Unfortunately, my companion has asthma...cigarette smoke instantly triggers pretty bad coughing fits. Sure wish it was smoke-free. read more

Shuckers was a treat! A true "on the beach" restaurant, yet classy inside. The seared tuna appetizer was super fresh and tasty. The fried oysters were good according to hubby - I don't like oysters. The Crispy Grouper sandwich was great, as was the calamari and clam strips. A little out of our way, but worth the drive! Dined here this evening and enjoyed a delicious meal and great service. However, this restaurant would rate a 1 if only ambiance was considered. We unfortunately were seated next to a group with 2 out of control older children whose parents couldn't maintain behavior of. As a result, I complained to the hostess and explained our predicament and asked to have my complaint conveyed to a manager. Nothing was done so we were forced to leave the restaurant early. I had lunch at shuckers on Sunday, Oct 22, 2023 with a friend. We both ate exactly the same lunch--- Cobb salads with blue cheese dressing on the side. Well on Monday I started feeling ' not right'. By Tuesday I was in the throes of terrible food poisoning. I couldn't move and of course my stomach was a mess. Wednesday my friend called and asked if I had been sick and that was when we realized that we had been food poisoned. I called the restaurant and talked to the manager, Robert who was arrogant and rude. I only called to alert him. He wasn't interested so diner beware. I tried to call the health department to no avail. Food poisoning is very scary. It took 4 days to get back to myself. And sadly, Tuesday was my birthday and I spent it in bed all day, all night. read more

Can't beat the view and the food was delicious. We were visiting from California and just stopped by for a beer and to take in the view and decided to get a little something to hold us over until dinner. Our friends had the conch chowder and said it was the best they ever had. My husband and I shared the mussels with white sauce and they were outstanding. It was difficult to believe that the place had a waiting list at 3 PM on a Friday afternoon. Fortunately, it only took about 10 minutes until we got a table facing the beach. As soon as we sat down the waitress came over and asked us what we would like to drink. It's a great beachy type of place where you're literally on the water and tables all around the restaurant facing it. The food was really good as well. I enjoy an ahi tuna salad and to my surprise they had it. It was absolutely delicious. My husband has a lobster roll that has a quirk about having too much mayonnaise in it. It was barely there and he enjoyed it immensely as did my brother and sister-in-law enjoy their chicken salad and tacos. would I come back to this place even though it's a distance from my home.
