It was just ok, for the cost of it, I expected a bit more. My wife could not finish hers. Overall it was an ok experience but I am in no hurry to return. If I do it will be for cocktails, pate, and the view.

Shuckers is a great place to spend the afternoon or evening when visiting Woods Hole. The location is perfect. Right on the dock of the marina, literally on the ocean. The seafood is fresh and the servers shuck the oysters right at the entrance when ordered. We loved the lobster quesadilla. Our server, Krista Sullivan, was courteous, friendly and helpful even though it was very busy on our evening visit. Shuckers is our favorite restaurant for a casual, friendly, relaxed evening of good food and drinks. read more

Ultimate tourist trap!!! Food not worth the $. Service mediocre at best, management are a bunch of snots. Rickety tables, they squeeze parties into small tables that are too close together. Boats don't sail by, just docked next to the tables spewing gasoline and fumes. Better off going to the Landfall, Great food, tasty drinks and excellent staff. Shuckers is trying not to LOOK touristy but believe me they are!!! One word to describe this place is ATTITUDE and I mean bad attitude (as well as food). read more

The most unpleasnat dining experience we ever had. A simple request to change tables was met with unexpected and inappropriate hostility. Without any customer service skills, the manager escalated this commonplace request with unexplainable venom. We see from other reviews that this kind of conduct towards customers is common at this place. Avoid. read more
