Four of us went to Romeo's tonight and we can't say enough about the AMAZING food and service! We ordered the eggplant fries at the suggestion of our server Jennifer (who was sooo helpful and provided great service) because they were new to the menu and they were absolutely delicous. Really crispy and served with tomato jam - YUM! Also ordered the lobster rangoon - great way to enjoy lobster instead of a lobster roll. The oysters were so good we had to ask for another order. Don't forget the pork ribs - tender and smokey! Forgot to mention the caesar salad and tomato salad with whipped feta - so fresh and tasty and locally sourced! Our last dish was the steak frites. OMG the steak was perfectly cooked and the fries were outstanding. We may have over ordered but it was worth the to-go boxes so we can enjoy some great Romeo's food tomorrow! So lucky to have Romeo's in Falmouth! The food is NOT the usual cape fare and is simply a fantastic place to go with family and friends! This is our absolute FAVORITE restaurant in town. The menu is always changing because the chef focuses on fresh local ingredients (as much as one can). Any time we have a special occasion, we have to go to Romeo's. The Thai mussels and focaccia have, thus far, always been on the menu and you MUST try them! The broth from the mussels is so good, we keep it at the table until the end in case there's something else we can put it on. While it will get pricey if you're a big eater, it is so worth it! Try everything you can. The service is also always 10/10. Everyone is so attentive and accommodating, which is hard to come by these days. read more

One of my Cape Cod favorites. I like to sit near the bar, where you can see the chef at his craft. On my first visit, my table of four shared the steak, Korean chicken, farm salad, green beans, and focaccia with roasted garlic, which was buttery soft and perfect. We've been back many times since. It was not a good match. We read the rave reviews and decided to try it. The reviews were correct. Each person should order two to three plates to share. Each person should expect to spend $ 50 to $ 100. The food was very good but the servings were small. Notice I did not call them meals because they are not meals, they are tastes or small portions. This was explained to us when we sat down but it did not sink in until the food arrived. We had an excellent meal the night before at a place nearby and would go back there. 18$ for WATER... water... without informing us. Asked if we wanted still or sparkling and did not mention 9$ a bottle. Only ordered water trying to not spend money on a drink.... and when I asked for more water.. they didn't tell me it'd be 9 more $... romeo's definitely surprised me. this is a small intimate restaurant - reservations are recommended. came here to celebrate my new job (yay!) so we were happy to sit at the bar. the bartender is nice and crafted the whole menu herself - i believe substituting is frowned upon for the drinks. they were incredibly delicious and made with care. the food was very delicious and fresh. the pasta was fresh and very al dente - i prefer a little over al dente personally but that is just me. the pizookie was a little overdone but the staff did a great job at taking care of us. read more

This is one of our favorite restaurants; we've been coming here since it opened and never had a bad dish. We absolutely love the rotating menu - there is always something to try and usually everything is a home run. Our favorites are the grilled focaccia, the veggie fried rice (which I promise you will be the freshest vegetable rice you will ever have), the harvest salad with the blue cheese schmear, the burger, and the apple pie. Strongly suggest getting these if they are available! The food is so elevated, but not pretentious, and the service is always the best. Went for an early dinner prior to a CLOC show. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and several of the staff. We ordered grilled focaccia with roasted garlic with our drinks. It was amazing. We then shared Summer Corn Arancini with cherry pepper mayo, fontina, and basil crema. The crust was perfect and the filling was warm, creamy and delicious. This was followed by eggplant fries (who knew?), crispy and full of flavor, and mouth-watering Thai beef. The freshest ingredients, perfectly prepared. The salads were great, olives very good, the mussels were good but salty while the swordfish was good quality but needed a bit more seasoning. Our granddaughter enjoyed her pasta and meatballs. Family style with one large entree and many shareable appetizers. We had the Korean chicken starter. Very tasty. We then split the steak frites. Superb. Last year I thought they had a rib eye. This years prime steak was less expensive but not a rib eye and came with fries that might have been as tasty as any we ever had. We've been to Romeo's a few times but it's been a while. This visit did not disappoint. Upon enterinto the restaurant we were greatly warmly by the hostess who remembered us from our last visit.
