Super friendly service at this little spot, they're famous for their red and green hot sauce and even sell it in refillable bottles. My wife had the chili relleno burrito, it was delicious! It was still early in the day, so I decided to go with the classic breakfast of juevos rancheros. I loved the sauce and the delicious beans and rice. The eggs were just fried a bit harder than I like them (my fault for not asking) everything went great with the fresh corn tortillas. Have been here before, and would definitely go back.

Since I've been craving a lot of Mexican food lately, it's been my mission to try different restaurants in the area. I thoroughly enjoyed eating at Tacos Jalisco in Vallejo, so I was curious if they were the same (at least the food anyway). Although I do appreciate being able to order a wet regular burrito, topped with shredded cheese, I feel like the meat (I ordered carne asada) wasn't really flavorful. My husband ordered a regular chicken burrito and stated that the burrito included very little chicken but a bunch of beans. Overall, our meal was OK. It filled the belly, but we didn't enjoy our food too much. 3 out of 5 stars.

Tacos Jalisco is a good place to stop and grab some food. The menu is pretty good and the people are usually very nice . The Green Salsa is legendary,,,, you can put it on anything . So if you are looking for some good food it's definitely worth a try .

Food: 8/10 Service: 9/10 Ambiance: 6/10 Ordered a super burrito and a breakfast burrito (huevos a la Mexicana). Both were really good and packed with flavor. The red and green salsas are the best! Lots of flavor packed with a punch. Only negative thing I have to say is the place is a bit old looking and could use some touch ups. I also wish there were potatoes in the breakfast burritos but other than that...so good! Can't wait to come back and try a dinner plate.

Nice calm spot! All of the food is very good especially the fajitas . This time I had tacos they were good and very filling. Asada and Carnitas are the best ones. The service is great, you walk in and sit wherever you'd like. Will be coming back.

One thing about the California area is there are plenty of taco options everywhere. I happened to stumble into this place for lunch for taco Tuesday. There weren't any specials but the tacos were reasonably priced. I tried the pulled chicken which was ok, the pastor which didn't impress me much, the asada was ok and so were the carnitas. Definitely not the best tacos I've had but they weren't the worse. Overall a good restaurant with friendly staff and great service.

I ordered a carnitas bowl with black beans, rice, and all the toppings you'd typically find in a carnitas burrito, while my wife went with a cheese quesadilla. While waiting for our food, I enjoyed a bottle of Pacifico and some chips and salsa. The salsa had a nice balance, not too spicy and not too mild. The carnitas were tender and flavorful, and the bowl was filling without feeling overly heavy, and my wife was happy with her quesadilla as well. The restaurant has a bright, inviting atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. A couple of tables hadn't been cleaned yet when we arrived, but we quickly found a clean spot and settled in. The food arrived promptly, and overall we had a very enjoyable meal. I'd definitely stop here again.

My evaluation is based on the pollo verde--which was an outstanding flavor at the prior location. I ordered a burrito and there is no flavor in this sauce. It's practically inedible, honestly. Having been a regular at the Peabody location, this is a shocking departure, and I can only assume there was a loss in talent back of the house in the transition. But since a restaurant is only as good as its food, this is a significant loss. I hope something changes, it's wild to have to close the clamshell on a Villa Corona pollo verde burrito, but close it I must. edit: Thanking owner Carlos for his response, but I have to assume it's a different batch than the one I tasted Monday. I've been a big fan of Villa Corona for years and the Peabody location was my spot; but even then I had a strong preference for the pollo verde from that location over the Nut Tree. I'll stop in again for sure, but may have to try some of the sauce with chips before ordering.

Walking in, I was immediately greeted with smiling and welcoming vibes from the ladies at the front and told to take a seat wherever I'd like to sit. The hit for me is that MENUDO is available on a non-weekend! I've been craving it and when I ordered it (on a Tuesday), I hoped it would be fresh and it was! The broth was savory and flavorful as is but with the added oregano, dried peppers, onions, and cilantro to my liking- it just made it even better! The best part was that you can either order it with pata or no pata. Shoooot, you don't have to ask me twice! I said I want the pata hahahaha that with tender and not overcooked tripe was just what I was wanting! If you love menudo, this is a place I'd recommend and go to get it regularly. The MICHELADA MARISCADA is tasty! It's a mixture of seafood in a sweet and tangy sauce. For those who do not like spice, this is a great option. I was with someone who doesn't like spicy food and isn't a big fan of Mexican food but MAN! she killed the entire plate! So now we have a place that we both can really enjoy together. Will be back!!
