There's outside seating, with several bar seats and it's covered. We sit outside every time we come here because we bring our dog with us, who is more than welcome. The first time we ever ate here, our dog was given several dog treats in a baggy. When we came here today, our dog got a hefty portion of chicken that she loved. We were told that the establishment loves dogs and that their place is named after their German Shepherd, which I love! The food is delicious. You get your chips and salsa plus bean dip. The bean dip is also seasoned, which I'm now realizing other restaurants don't do. They offer ribeye tacos, which I guess isn't typical for many places to offer. I've tried their chicken and shrimp tacos, which are tasty. The chicken is flavorful and the shrimp is battered and fried topped with their coleslaw, a creamy Chipotle type sauce and cheese. My husband has tried their arrachera, ribeye and fish tacos, with the fish taco prepared the same way as their shrimp. They offer sopes too, which I've had with potato and they're yummy. I had horchata today and I also realized other restaurants are doing it wrong. This one actually tasted homemade. They have a salsa bar inside, where you can pick your salsas and toppings. I was with my mother in law late on a Monday night and we actually weee headed to another restaurant but it was closed so I drove down the street to turn around and saw this place. It was cute and open so we said let's give it a try. Upon walking in we were greeted by the owner who is so kind and welcoming. The place isn't huge but they have done a great job at utilizing their space both inside and outside! The patio area is really cute and I would love to sit out there sometime. The food was phenomenal! She brought us out homemade chips with beans that were delicious. They have a salsa bar with a really good array and they also have bottles of salsa/hot sauce at each table. I got a carne asada super burrito and added lettuce and it was amazing. My mother in law got a bean and cheese burrito that I was actually jealous of and I don't usually care for beans. We spoke with the owner for a while after dinner and she is hilarious. Overall my only complaint is that I don't live closer. Great food, great service and great prices! A true hidden gem. Zulu took great care of us, super friendly and on top of everything. We ordered a little bit of everything - tacos (fish, shrimp, and ribeye), ceviche, and a burrito. El Taco Magico is relatively new to Suisun City, but I've already been here at least 5 times. They have quickly become my new favorite authentic Mexican restaurant in the area, and truly live up to the "hole in the wall" reputation that smaller restaurants tend to have (in other words, small restaurant = amazing food!). From the moment you walk in and speak with the staff, one can tell that this family-run eatery is full of passion for delicious food. The primary hostess is incredibly sweet, and she always seems very excited for her customers to partake in their cuisine. There's never any judgment, and as I'm writing this they've happily accepted a dine-in order 10 minutes before closing. So many other places don't give that level of excellent service. To boot, their prices are pretty reasonable (particularly on Taco Tuesday!), especially considering how scrumptious their food is. Bad service. Bad food. Too expensive. Didn't give salsa with our take out tacos. The tortilla of said tacos was undercooked. The guacamole we ordered was brown. Their vegetarian burrito comes with potato's & fajitas that were basically raw (I looked at their menu while I was eating said burrito and there isn't even a vegetarian burrito on there so they basically just threw stuff into a flower tortilla and called it a day). At other restaurants a vegetarian burrito normally only comes with beans, rice, lettuce, pico de gallo, cheese, and sour cream so having to eat a burrito with basically a salad inside was painful, but I picked out the raw bell peppers and ate it because I hate wasting food and money. The people were nice, the food was horrible. I ordered and picked up. I bought a steak burrito, which was probably the worst burrito I've ever had, I took 2 bites of it and threw it into the garbage. I bought 2 steak tacos, my gf ate them, she said the steak was over cooked and they were edible, but not great. We received a bag of homemade tortilla chips, they were to thick and over cooked. The chips tasted like old dirty grease, I ate two chips and threw them into the trash also. My cheese quesadilla was edible but not great either. I would definitely not recommend this Mexican restaurant to anyone, ever. There are much better places to eat. The food was also about 45 dollars and I threw most of the food into the trash.
