Good Mexican food. More on the TexMex side. Love that the Guacamole is served with chicharrones. HUMUNGOUS portions, you won't go hungry here. I asked for a spicy Margarita and I got one! Exactly how I like them...actually spicy. We sat outside on a lovely evening. Great patio space. They start you out with Chips, salsa and refined beans. I always love when they include the beans. Chips were crisp and fresh and the salsa was a great flavor. I ordered the Carne Asada and it was excellent! Steak was tender and super flavorful, a good portion of Guacamole, and smaller portions of rice and beans, which I thought was perfect! I ordered 3 carne asada tacos and a chicken burrito .. what they did was put down 3 tortillas on a plate and sprinkle carne asada across because I had to share meat from 2 tacos to barely fill the 3rd taco. The burrito was NOT A BURRITO. It was a tortilla filled with dry shredded chicken ONLY.. no beans or rice. It was a tortilla stuffed with dry chicken. The place is beautiful, the service was excellent, our waitress was very attentive and really good, and the food was excellent! We have been coming here for about 2 years and the food has always been delicious... except for this trip. We ordered a deluxe tostada, and two enchiladas. The lettuce on the tostada was gross and brown. The tortilla was soggy. Enchiladas weren't amazing either. The cheese wasn't melted all the way. The service was not stellar either. Waitress didn't seem to care about the lettuce being brown and disgusting. We are very disappointed because this is a stop we make from out of town. We won't be making this stop again. read more

This place is fantastic. The building itself is very festive, and lively, very inviting. There is plenty of parking around. There is outdoor seating that looked romantic and cozy, however we came with our kids so we sat inside. Portions are HUGE! And mostly importantly food is delicious, service was great as well. Me and my girlfriend were craving Mexican while passing through, we looked up several spots, but randomly found this place conveniently off the highway. The place has a great decor, lots of detail and it definitely feels like an experience. We ordered our food and were impressed by the amount of flavor and authentic taste. I had a carne asada wet burrito, I would recommend but add cheese and avocado inside Only recommendation I have for the establishment is to change the lighting, to make it less yellow, maybe dim it down and put in some candles on the tables. Stopped in for lunch. My experience wasn't a pleasurable one. Upon arriving, the hostesses both had bad attitudes. The first had a dull look like she'd been smoking weed. The second glared at me like I was evil. I was being polite at the time. Go figure that's the response I would get considering I'm the customer. My first TWO sets of silverware had food stuck to them! I can forgive the occasional slip-up, but this was ridiculous. I got the Super Nachos. They had a few burn spots from sitting under the warmer too long. The center was a soggy mess. The only bright spot was the waiter. He was very apologetic and served me well. This is a nice restaurant with great atmosphere and patios. We ordered take away. I got a steak fajita burrito which was really good! It came with sour cream, guacamole, sautéed onions and peppers. Delicious! The chips and salsa were great! I asked if the chips also came with the bean dip as listed on the menu. They said "yes." We did not receive that. The chicken enchiladas were good. we ordered it with mole sauce and the mole sauce was not very authentic. It tasted like enchilada sauce with sugar added to it. Nice decor, terrible food and service. And let's not even get started on the fact that this is not real Mexican food. The guacamole tasted like sadness, the tacos were drier than the Sahara, and the waitstaff moved at a sloth's pace. Plus, the prices were higher than a piñata filled with gold. Sadly, the food is just really not up to par and not really worth the price. The chips and salsa was fine, but the meals came out bland, kind of tasteless and lukewarm to cold. My combo plate which included a chili relleno came so that the cheese inside the relleno was like a hard thick cooled down block, nothing was melted like it should have been. Super disappointing! Ive never experienced anything like that in a supposedly higher end Mexican place before. The rice was also kind of cold, it seriously made me wonder if things were cooked to order or just sat there cooked previously and dished out like a buffet back in the kitchen? How weird. It really is a shame, because this place is gorgeous inside! We were seated in the back room which is beautifully decorated, and faces a super cute outdoor patio area. A+ for that. My wife and I were on a 10 day roadtrip from California and decided to stop in Grants Pass for the night. We have been through Grants Pass a few times but have never tried this place, what a mistake !. It was a really nice night and decided to set out in their very inviting outdoor seating area. We looked the menu over a few times and my wife always kept going back to the Flores Molcajete, we knew it was going to be big so we decided to split it. When it arrived at the table all we could both say was.....OMG !. It looked amazing and it tasted even better than it looked. From the huge bacon wrapped shrimp to the gooey melted cheese at the bottom of the bowl. It also had tender chicken, charbroiled beef, sausage, peppers and a sauce so good it would make cardboard taste great. I'm almost 60 years old and this dish was probably the best Mexican dish I've ever had, period. read more

We spoke with the owner, Manuel about our amazing time there, he just happened to be behind the bar at the moment so we ordered a couple of shots of tequila.
