Wanted a late night dinner but didn't want fast food so we went here. Place is a little hole in the wall and the cashier was also the waiter (respect for the multitasking). We ordered a few meals like the pad see ew, house combination appetizers, tom kha and curry and while they were okay, they were reasonably priced and it's open till midnight.

Pad Thai with Beef and Beef Yellow Curry (all day special)

I found Siam Cafe for Thai food with a friend, and I have to admit this easily ranks at the bottom of my Thai food adventures. This is beyond parking being difficult to maneuver around in this small lot. To start off, we had their Dynamite Chicken Wings as appetizers. The chicken was a good texture. The sauce itself was fairly heavy, lightly spicy, though super sweet. The taste was unique, though not enjoyable. We also had their Yellow Curry with Beef and Pad Thai Beef - both their "All Day Specials." Both came with deep fried egg rolls that had a warm exterior but an ice cold interior. We notified our server, and they were quickly replaced. The beef for the yellow curry was a tad on the colder side; the meat was pink. The curry itself was super watery, and it was very sweet. The rice for both dishes was okay. The pad thai was unfortunately left uneaten, as the taste was a bit off and was very sweet, too. Overall, the chicken was okay, and our entrees were a load of sugar - a chore to eat. The rice was not impressive, and our overall meal was not too enjoyable.

I ate Thai food my whole life, I've had plenty of places that were good/decent. However, this place really left an impression on me. If you're looking for a good Thai food spot that's consistently delicious, I highly recommend Siam Cafe. The service is great and family owned aesthetic. I highly recommend the pad Thai, Panang curry over rice, and the Tom Kha Soup! My new go to spot, easily.

Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 When I walked in immediately was greeted by a very nice young lady sitting in the front with superb customer service skills she took my order super fast and was helpful with my million questions lol. I ordered soup and steamed gyozas and it was so delicious. The tom yum was probably one of the best I have ever had no doubt. I already knew I was going to like this place just by the small cozy clean vibes it had inside and sure enough it met my expectations. Definitely coming back to try the rest of the food items.

My bf and I was craving Thai food and then we realized a lot of the Thai places closed early now... but we ended up finding this place on yelp and decided to check it out. The restaurant is small and the prices are pretty good. It's decent amount of food for the price. The food was delicious. We got the pad kra pow, pad see ew, chicken satay, pork jerky. The pad see ew could have had a little bit more flavor though. The service was pretty quick and the server/cashier was friendly. I would probably come back to this place again!

I was craving thai food and came across this delicious hidden jem! The place can't easily be missed, it is next to a nail spot behind beeps. The place is extremely clean, very welcoming and comfortable sitting. Family business which i love to support! We got some pad thai, delicious! Generous portions and full of fresh flavors! we are definitely coming back to support them, authentic flavors at a fair price The service was also great, she was super nice and make sure we had eveverything we needed to enjoy our meal

I've never seen it overcrowded, and you can tell they are exceptional with take out orders. However, it doesn't reduce the attention and care you get in the restaurant. Any time there is a special dish or recommendation I absolutely try it and am delighted each time. The softshell crab is fantastic, the fish was flavorful and interesting, and the pad see ewe / pad thai hybrid dish is now our absolute favorite! The chicken pad see ew is delicious - thinly sliced chicken and evenly separated flat noodles with just the right amount of gai lan (Chinese broccoli). The curry dishes have been spot on too. The panang with stewed chunks of beef fall apart nicely and were so tasty. Another delicious dish is the gai kra pow (Thai basil with minced chicken). I ordered it Thai style without the bell peppers but with string beans instead over a bed of rice and fried egg. The best kra pow I've had in a long time. Crispy pork with Chinese broccoli and salted fish is a dish not many Thai places make but it was so good here. There are lunch specials too from Monday to Thursday. I am really excited about this place and will definitely be back to try so many of their other dishes.

The parking lot is a decent size so finding a spot is never a problem (there's always street parking if need be). Place is always packed but never overwhelmingly so. For entrees we've tried the Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Pad Thai Noodle, and Pineapple Fried Rice (with the last two being our go-to). The portions are family/shareable sizes unless you're absolutely hangry/determined enough to take it on solo. Overall it's one of the better Thai restaurants we've been to in the Valley. It's nice and cool inside for those hot summer days, it's a great place to catch games on their giant TV, and it's a solid choice for families on a budget. If you're in the area, give them a shot!

Casual spot, but frozen ingredients & bland flavors hold it back~…read moreI visited this low-key, casual Thai spot in Panorama City in the heart of the ghetto after a busy day, hoping for a satisfying late meal. The atmosphere is very informal, complete with high chairs & various tacky signs around the entrance. It was extremely loud inside, with crowded tables & screaming children throughout the dining area. We were seated promptly & handed sticky menus, so we ordered the chicken satay, fried rice, Pad Thai, & red curry. Service-wise, our entire order arrived at once instead of the traditional cadence of serving appetizers first followed by the main courses. Additionally, our waitress did not check on us throughout the meal until it was time to drop off the bill. Unfortunately, the quality and flavor of the food were a major letdown :/ Chicken Satay....Did not taste fresh and was noticeably lacking in flavor. Fried Rice...Had a clear, off-putting texture and taste as if it had been prepared from a frozen bag. Pad Thai....Perfectly average, but very bland compared to what you would expect from authentic Thai cuisine. Red Curry....Easily the best dish of the night, featuring decent flavor, though still not exceptional enough to save the meal. When I kindly asked the waitress if any of the food was frozen, specifically noting the fried rice, she mentioned that only the vegetables were frozen and stated the chicken was grilled fresh. While I appreciate the team's effort, the restaurant urgently needs to upgrade its ingredient quality. Even if it requires raising prices slightly, using fresh produce and elevating the flavor profiles would make a world of difference in the overall dining experience.

I got the Kai Soi Noodle Soup because I loved it so much before, and I got a side of rangoon, a side of Roti, and a side of chicken Sa te. The Kai Soi Noodle Soup stayed hot for the drive back home and it is so delicious. I love how it's packed in a bowl with the soup on bottom and the noodles and veggies seperated at the top. The noodles taste incredibly fresh and just amazing. I loved eating the soft flaky roti on the side with the soup. I saved the rangoon and chicken sa te to eat for another meal and they were both delicious, however I felt the chicken was so thin so it was a little dry. Probably next time I should eat that immediately. Dipping it into the peanut sauce of course elevated it and it tasted very flavorful. Overall Dek Sen's is my favorite Thai food place in socal! I wanted beef jerky, a dish I always order from thai restaurants but I couldn't find it on the menu. Luckily there was such a thing when I ordered!!! The beef jerky was chewy and not super hard when I bit it. The meat was good quality, it was a bit like steak to be honest!!! The fried rice was also just regular order but it was so tasty, buttery, and yummy. I loved the honey roasted ribs because it was so tender and flavorful. The panang curry was also super super good. I don't usually enjoy curry like that because it gets too spicy but the mild level was perfect for my taste buds and so good and creamy with the chicken we ordered for it. The white rice it came with would be doused with the curry sauce/stew and it would just be an amazing combo of flavors!!!! I would definitely recommend this spot, and would be excited to come back here for more for even hangouts with friends.
