    Mango sticky rice
    Selena M.

First things first, I'll just say this place is definitely a 5 star spot!:) The food was amazing, everything tasted great and the portions per dish were perfect and the prices were reasonably good especially in this economy. On top of that, we finished each dish! The service was really good, very hospitable :) The ambiance felt really homey and it was super clean and inviting! The food we got: Beef thai fried rice on the bottom (really good flavors) - Yellow curry (we got chicken for protein, and mild spice!) - Pad Kee Mao (really good flavors, has a bit kick to it) - Mango sticky rice: AMAAZZZZINGGG. Has to be my favorite mango sticky rice i've ever had so far. We will definitely come back every month! :)

Lunch Special - Panang Curry w/ chicken

Out of all the Thai restaurants I've been to, this one has the best flavor. The moment I took my first bite of the Panang curry, I could tell how delicious it was. The portion size was perfect too, filling without being too much.

I'm not sure if it's truly a 4. I was starving after a long day at a theme park. This place had good photos and has great prices. The food was great to me but I did notice it was almost too sweet. If they didn't have chili flakes it would be too much sweetest to be enjoyable. The staff were very nice and I noticed it was fairly busy (probably because of their prices). Pretty big place too, and clean. I would probably keep exploring for better thai places but not bad in a pinch.

Very glad to come back here recently! We enjoyed a wonderful Thai dinner with some hearty soup and some craved chicken curry! We were lucky to find a spot at the parking lot along Ventura blvd. It's a sophisticated and cozy spot but when there is a group of people dining in that talk loudly, it somewhat echoes inside there so it can be quite noisy. For a weekday evening, it was pretty busy but the food was well worth our wait. The crab rice was very tasty and delicious. My favorite was the flavorful chicken curry paired with fluffy steamed rice. Perect for sharing with others to make it about $15-20 per person!

Noticed there was a few outside tables. Inside the lighting was not too dim or bright. On this particular night it was noisy due to a group of men seated at a nearby table. They seemed to be from some sort of car club. Laughter & warmth filled the air. Several times it was mentioned that one of them just got fired. So nice of them, how loyal to support their buddy. The Fresh Spring Rolls were packed full of vegetables. Really bursting over the top. Enjoyed the sweet coconut sauce. The soy chicken satay had a nice chewy texture. The coconut sauce was more on the good sweet side. Passed on the white sliced toasts. Speaking of sides, the requested extra chopped cucumbers were outstanding. Reminiscent of the slight vinegar acidy taste of banh mi pickled veggies. The Vegetables soup hit the spot. I'm not sick but if I were, this would be most comforting & healing. Plenty of tender vegetables, thankfully not too salty. One month ago had this branch cater my dad's 91st birthday celebration. It was a hit with 40 guests. People raved about the food "this is the best vegetarian Thai food in the valley." They delivered on time. Advise not missing out on those cucumbers which were the guests' favorite. Also we had Snow Peas with Shitake Mushrooms which pleased them as well.

Wow, I've been sleeping on this spot. What a gem! The location is nestled between a nursery and CPK. We were greeted ever so warmly upon entering. The decor is new, clean, renovated like an upscale yet cozy European restaurant. Beautiful new leather seating booths, fun lighting fixtures, and interesting artwork. The service is phenomenal and the food came out quickly. The Thai tea was so cute, it came out like one of the ones I get at a boba shop. We got pork jerky, chicken larb, chicken yellow curry, and chicken pad see ew. The jerky was a perfect balance of savory and sweet, chewy yet melts in your mouth. Not sure what the sauce was that came with it, but it was a gentle sweet kiss. The chicken pad see ew portion was quite big, though I wish there was a tad bit more chicken. The yellow curry was divine, this dish had a TON of chicken. Normally at other spots I get a lot of carrots and potato filler. Not here! Lots of chicken! And a generous bowel of rice! The chicken larb was excellent, perhaps more red onion than I'm used to, but the lemongrass was the star of the show. We also got mango sticky rice to go, which came out shortly after ordering. I'll update once we've had some. Just know, when you come here, you'll be treated like family. They have joy in their hearts! I saw many diners and take out customers come through and the owner greeted them like old friends. It's that kind of place. We'll be back soon!

I wanted to try a new Thai spot, and I'm so glad I came across this gem! The staff was extremely friendly, and every dish was fantastic. The portions were noticeably larger than most Thai places I've been to, and the pricing was very reasonable. We ordered the Tom Yum noodles, Pad See Ew, Golden Curry, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Fried Tofu. The Tom Yum dish was the most surprising--it was huge and packed with so much flavor. Best of all, all the protein in the dishes was cooked perfectly; tender, not overcooked or dry. The restaurant itself is clean, and they have high chairs, which is a great bonus. There's also a small lot, so parking was easy. I can't wait to return!

First of all the staff at this restaurant are all so kind, so considerate and so accommodating. Everyone was lovely. The food smelled so good and was so delicious. I will 100% be coming back.

I'm writing this review and I'm not even done with my meal, PAD SEE EW IS PAD SEE YUMMMMM bro!!! If you like Thai food, you have to come here! Best I've had in a very long time and I eat out almost every day I'm crying in happiness right now. Ps. Ask for a fried egg on top of your noodles it's like an extra $2 but worth every bite! You're welcome. Def coming back!

This new Thai spot really impressed and hit the spot for me and my girlfriend!! We were driving by Ventura blvd before deciding to choose this spot. The interior is very cozy inside and we came in after a dinner rush!! It took a while for us to get our orders taken but the smell of the kitchen had us very curious. Menu items are family-sized and my girlfriend and I couldn't limit it to less than 4 items, lol. Nonetheless we had so many leftovers that I know will still be delicious!! For appetizer we got the pork jerky, a new type of appetizer we never had. It was interesting in terms of marination and it was fried but not crispy. The highlights were our entrees of golden curry with chicken, grilled pork (super flavorful with a great char taste, we love how the pork was cut for us for easy to eat), and the tom pla soup was also very herby and fresh with the many mushrooms and white fish inside. Was super delicious and we were both so full!! Would love to come back here again and try out more items!!! The two workers here were also very upbeat and friendly, who definitely worked very hard. They do takeout/delivery too!

Garlic & Pepper Jumbo Prawn $28.95

7/19/2025 - The Amazing Siam Thai restaurant was just opened on June 25, 2025 in the Tazana neighborhood of the city of Los Angeles. This is an upscale Thai restaurant in San Fernando Valley or Los Angeles, but it's lunch special at $12.95 is one of the best you can easily find in those days. The Jumbo Prawn whose presentation and taste is 5 stars. This is one of my all-time favorite dishes you can't find in a special dining restaurant in many cruises ships today. Although the Seafood soup is 4 stars, but Kho Soi and its ambience are 5 stars. The parking is free in front of the restaurant. A WiFi access requires a password upon request!

Everything we got was so good! It reminded me of being in Thailand. The kha soi is the best thing we ordered. It is so creamy and flavorful. We also got the pad see ew which was delicious, I recommend it with tofu. We also got the green curry with chicken and it was very good. Will definitely be returning.

They offer three versions of their tonkotsu ramen--Clear, Black, and Spicy. Of course, I ordered the Clear. Oh my goodness... this was exactly the ramen I'd been looking for. The broth was crystal clear yet incredibly rich and flavorful without being heavy. The chashu was melt-in-your-mouth tender, perfectly seasoned, and not greasy at all. The soft-boiled egg was cooked to perfection with a beautifully jammy yolk. The noodles reminded me of the ramen I had in Japan--simple, authentic, with the perfect texture and firmness. And the shredded green onions on top completely brought the whole bowl together. They added just the right amount of freshness and crunch. Game over. If you're looking for authentic Japanese ramen with a clean, flavorful broth, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back.

The people who I assume own the restaurant, working as both the waiters and chefs, were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they serve. Since we were completely new to Indonesian cuisine, they patiently answered our questions and gave us great recommendations, which made the experience even better. This is exactly the kind of small business you want to support. The flavors were unlike anything I've had before, and I loved getting to try something so different. My favorite dish was easily the grilled fish. It reminded me of the Filipino grilled fish I grew up eating, so it had a comforting familiarity while still showcasing its own distinct Indonesian flavors. If you're looking for authentic Indonesian food or simply want to try something new, I highly recommend LaaLaaPan. I'll definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu.

The balado wasn't spicy, but the sambal definitely was. I also missed having sambal ijo and some gulai gravy, both of which would have made the plate feel more complete. The bakwan jagung had a similarly homemade style. Depending on your preferences, it will either make you miss your mom's cooking or leave you craving a crispier, restaurant-style bakwan jagung packed with corn kernels. The soda gembira, like many Indonesian places here, use Sprite instead of club soda or plain soda water, which makes it far too sweet. The syrup they used tasted authentic, though. Overall, you may love this place specifically because the food tastes like something you grew up eating. However, if your preference leans more toward polished, restaurant-style Indonesian food, it may feel a little underwhelming.

Beef noodle soup: to be very blunt, this was quite flavorless. The beef was dry as bones and looked like it was sliced with a mandoline. The noodles seemed undercooked and it felt like I was eating al dente spaghetti noodles. I got a medium spice level which didn't even seem that spicy, just a lot of cough inducing chili oil with no burn. Pan fried dumplings were ok. It honestly tasted like it was deep fried and not pan fried. Unsweetened black tea: hands down the best of the 3 things in the combo, which is quite telling. Honestly you get a decent amount of food for $15. But to constantly take the top 5 for recommended on Yelp in this area and waste my time to even look at it, it definitely doesn't belong remotely close to top 10.

Finally popped in after constantly seeing it on my FYP and it did not disappoint. I ordered the…read morespicy beef noodle soup combo which came with 4 dumplings and a beverage. The service was friendly and the wait was reasonable. Its located in the mall which means that you don't really get much of a vibe from this place alone but of everything surrounding. The soup was not spicy imo, I have a high tolerance, but it did have a good flavor. The noodles were thick and soft but they lacked a bit of flavor. The beef was soft and flavorful with the smaller bits of beef, which resembled ground beef, were very tasty. The soup was good overall but felt a bit too oily. The dumplings had a light crunchy exterior and the inside was juicy but it felt just a bit too mushy for me. Overall a good place and I would return to try something else.

I work nearby and saw that they already opened so last Thursday I ordered online so I can pick up…read more I don't have a lot of time for lunch so I usually pickup and eat in so it's faster. I got the sesame noodles and 6 pc signature dumplings. Here's a tip - when you order to go they don't give you the sauces. You must get the sauces. I used the little cups and got all the sauces. The garlic sauce and hot sauce and you must use it. I swear it makes a huge difference. Also like any dumplings you must consume it right away. The restaurant was clean and open so even if it's casual it's a good place to eat with family/ friends. Since this is a a known Taiwanese franchise, all the other customers were Asian so that tells you it's legit! I'll definitely order again for lunch. Online order is the best, you can do it in their site and pick the time for pick up and it's ready. They have combo meals but my order wasn't a combo. I picked up and ate it there.

There seems to be a lot of new Asian, fast food style places popping up around town. I have never…read moreheard of Bafang Dumplings before and I just happened to see it driving by. The options seem similar to Chubby Dumpling and Tigawok. I ordered the #4 Combo, with the Signature Dumplings and the Signature Noodles. Both dishes were good. The Signature Noodles were nicely done and had some good flavor, I just wish that there was a protein option to add to it. The Signature Dumplings were fine. I've also tried the Spicy Wontons, which were small but tasty. The big sell here is the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup, for $17.95. This is the only dish that's served in a big ceramic bowl, and not a to-go container. It also comes with a proper Ramen soup spoon. This is a meal on it's own. Filled with broth, noodles, chunks of tender, but fatty beef, daikon radishes and bok choy. The dish is good for the price, but the broth was a bit underwhelming for my taste. Fortunately, they have plenty of condiments to add more spice and heat. Over all, Bafang Dumpling was better than expected.
