The food wasn't that great I really didn't expect it to be. I was just passing through headed to Cocoa Beach for a kayaking tour and needed something on my tummy. I ordered salmon and vegetables the vegetables were crisp and the salmon was overcooked. I wasn't able to eat one of the pieces it was really dry. The roll I choose was the Toyota roll, it did not disappoint the flavor was rich and fresh; the presentation was bright and beautiful, and the appetite was fulfilled. The restaurant is very big and can accommodate large parties and more intimate space as well. The service was friendly and kind, the miso soup was more then broth and I love when I get a great soup full of tofu and seaweed. My friend just wanted dessert and she was divided between mochi ice cream or green tea ice cream. As someone who has had both I suggested she try green tea as she had never had either and some People don't do well with mochi ice cream texture. She loved it! My other friend choose the Love the Sea roll and it was scrumptious as well as my second choice if i had an opportunity to eat another roll. We were a table of 4. The food is ok about average ..but the service was terrible! Absolutely terrible. Our service literally was shouting not talking, we were scared to ask for any refills or side or anything we needed other than our initial order. And the 18% gratuity was automatically added to the check and this is way she didn't care to try or even smile. To be honest, 2 of the 4 of us asked for gluten free. Our friends really liked what they had. Our Pad Thai and Red curry had little flavor as they used something different from their usual stuff that has gluten. After stating that they had no flavor, we asked for GF soy sauce. So we claim it to our server and he said that their OTHER customers didn't want their sauce over the sushi rolls so HE didn't put on it. First of all, He didn't ask us if we want to have the sushi rolls with the sauce or without the sauce. Second, he gave us individual sauce ingredients in the small dishes when we told him that we want the sushi rolls whatever they describe it on their menu(they have pictures on their menu). They're attached to the laquinta hotel and didnt look like much from the outside, but once we walked in, the decor was beautiful. We were immediately greeted and sat down, the service was nonstop amazing and the food was pretty delicious. We ordered the chicken pad thai and lava roll just in case the pad thai wasnt enough. And it was the perfect amount, we were too full to return back to the beach afterwards. The pad thai had so much flavor and had that perfect touch of sweetness and tang. The lava roll was a little greasy from how they cook it, but it was still good. They had a lovely, welcoming feeling from the staff and the environment itself.
